I really like this! I have it in the color SMLC12 Buenos Aires (picture attached) It's a stunning bright pinky-peach color perfect for summer. I took off one lippy because it is drying so make sure to exfoliate and wear a balm under. It smells delightful like cake frosting almost. I recommend this

I think these lip creams are absolutely the best thing since sliced bread!! I really like the vanilla scent I like the way they go on and feel. If you have thin lips they are great for drawing outside your lips to create a fuller pout. My favourite color is Antwerp it's a very beautiful coral! I would love then even more if they stayed on longer but have no problem touching up every 4 or so hours.

4.5!! only thing is j wish it would stay on longer. i like that its not sticky, one reason i don't like lipgloss, and not waxy like lip balms, i love the nude colored shades, i will stock up next time i go to the mall

I have this in four shades - Stockholm (beige-y nude), Istanbul (light coral-y pink), Addis Ababa (bright pink), and Monte Carlo (deep red). I sort of need to review these shade-by-shade, but I'll start with the areas where they are similar first to save time.
The texture on all of these really is quite matte, but they all go on in a plush, soft cream and eventually dry down. I love the texture. I don't find any of them particularly drying, but they aren't necessarily moisturizing either.
Wear time on these is pretty fantastic. Because they are matte, they don't need to be locked in with a lip liner. No feathering, not much fading.
Packaging is great. I like the simple design (short of the uncanny amount of text on them - I can do without that), and the doe-foot applicator is a favorite of mine.
Now for the differences:
Stockholm is my reigning favorite at the moment. I love this when I'm in the mood for a Twiggy-inspired winged liner look with a matte nude lip. It's especially fun paired with the e.l.f. Lip Definer and Shaper. The color is the perfect nude for my complexion - it doesn't make me look dead or like I've put concealer on my lips. It's dark enough to obviously be a lip color, and it's light enough to be understated but still pretty. My lips look so plush and huge and it's very Angelina Jolie circa Girl, Interrupted. Love.
Next up is Addis Ababa. The color is slightly less pigmented than it appears on the tube, which was a little disappointing, however, layered over a fuchsia lipstick, it is amazing. On its own, it's a tad on the sheer side, but it does cast a gorgeous healthy pink flush over my lips and I love it for summertime. It's great with just BB cream and waterproof mascara for a gorgeous beach day look. Short of the misrepresentation of the color on the packaging, I feel this is a very pretty pop of pink.
Monte Carlo was another disappointment at first because it, like Addis Ababa, is quite sheer and not as deep red as I was hoping. It is, however, the perfect sheer red without coral undertones. Very pretty in Autumn if you are looking for a red that isn't the typical vampy shade. I don't use this one too often because I tend to lean toward either high-impact colors or beige nudes.
Istanbul is the only color I don't really like on me. I find it's a bit uneven when it applies, and it tends to wear funny, causing a very obvious contrast when the color ends and the inside of my lip begins. Looks quite chalky on me. Perhaps it would work better with a primer, but as these are matte to begin with, a primer might end up making them quite drying.
Overall, I find these to be a win. I'd like to try some other colors, as I think they are very convenient to carry around for on-the-go touchups. The packaging is durable enough to withstand the inside of a messy purse, and it's cheap enough that you can buy multiple colors and still not add up to the cost of one Chanel lipstick. I can dig that!

Great lip color. Looks like a gloss but goes on creamy like a liquid lipstick. Dries to a nice matte finish. The color lasts for about 3-4 hours, even with eating and drinking. I like to let it dry thoroughly and then apply a layer of the NYX Butter gloss for a perfect lip.

This product is like a liquid lipstick in a sense. It doesn't feel or look like a lipgloss even tho it is packaged that way. The product is like a creamy lotion texture that glides over lips. After applying the product to the lips, you have to let it sit and set to dry (no smacking of the lips or rubbing/blending of the color) for it to be long lasting. Throughout the day it can feel uncomfortable on the lips because it is like sucking the moisture out of the lips (it is called matte lip cream). I recommend you wear a lip balm underneath and let it moisture the lips before applying this product. I highly recommend this product! I have the color in Stockholm which is a peachy pink nude color :D

I absolutely love this lip product! It is unlike anything I have every used. Lip gloss is sticky and lipstick heavy, this lip cream goes on light and smooth. Your lips feel natural but have great color. Stockholm is my favorite color. Buy this product!

I love this stuff. My favorites are stockholm and london. I love the texture although it certainly takes a bit of time to "set" -- the colors are lovely, and for the price, they last forever. I perhaps should start trying the bolder colors...

LOVE this stuff. i admit, when I picked this up, I didn't pay attention to the literature. I was just looking for a milky pink gloss, and that's what drew me to this in the shade 'Tokyo.' When i first put it on, it wasn't love at first sight. When you first apply it, at least on me, it looks slightly like a nude. It's GORGEOUS, though! I love everything about it. You can wear it by itself, and it doesn't smudge or transfer, and honestly, you forget there's anything on your lips, unless you add gloss, but too much of that will take away from the matte effect, obviously. Only think I kind of dislike, is that the tube is so small, but it was 5 bucks, so why complain?? I would definitely repurchase, and even consider giving the other shades a try. :)

DESCRIPTION OF ME ~ Light yellowy/olive complexion with a tendency to get redness on my cheeks and around my nose. MAC C2ish/NC20. Large pores, oily and prone to blackheads and occasional acne. Mid-thirties, some sun damage, (melasma) and fine creases on my forehead.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION~ The party line--> "Neither lipstick nor lip gloss—this is matte lip cream. A new kind of pout paint that goes on silky smooth and sets to a matte finish. Soft Matte Lip Cream is surprisingly durable and, unlike some matte lipstick formulas, also moisturizing. Available in 13 lip colors." It is moisturizing but not "durable" which is fine but don't say it is NYX if it isn't! D:
PACKAGING~ Screw cap, doe foot applicator. Does the job!
CONSISTENCY/TEXTURE~ It's creamy and smooth going on.
APPLICATION~ Goes on smooth as can be, I use a brush.
FINISH~ It is soft matte with tiniest bit of shine, so lovely.
COVERAGE~ Highly pigmented, even and full coverage. Can be sheered out or left opaque with the same beautiful results.
STAYING POWER~ This really is a hybrid between a matte ls and those dry hard paint/stains you get with the gloss you add after. If I use chap stick or another more moisturizing ls underneath, these don't wear off patchy but naturally but last definitely longer than regular ls.
SCENT~ Hmm there's something faint, maybe vanilla? It's pleasant none the less!
COLOUR~ I own 3 shades: Stockholm (light/medium warm nude), San Paulo (medium purply pink), and Antwerp (light/medium bright soft neutral pink). San Pualo I just can't wear :( it's just too purply but that's just me. Stockholm is warm and slightly lighter than my natural lip, pretty nude, I ADORE it. And, Antwerp is a lovely pink, just neutral enough I can wear it if sheered out. Adds a bright yybb shot of pink.
OVERALL~ I prefer the NYX Matte ls not lip creams but these are still quite nice. Check for colour swatches online, they sooo helpful!
