I definitely would NOT buy this again. There is absolutely no pigment at all. It just gives a milky clear color with sparkles in it. It feels really awful on my lips, and 30 seconds after applying it, you can't tell you put anything on. Well, except for the bits of glitter which flake off and land on your face. And believe me, that is not an attractive look...... I really wish I had read the reviews before I wasted my money on this. Essentially it looks like chap stick on your lips until it dries and then it's blobs of glitter flaking off everywhere.

My skin isin NC20 combination skin. My natural lip color is pink with a blue undertone.
I bought Pink Sugar during a BOGO50% at Walgreens. This is a sheer, baby pink lipstick with micro-glitter. This lippie can be applied even without a mirror! It is not drying on my lips but the micro-glitter particles do leave a slight gritty feel on my lips, but nothing that it is bothersome to me. This is just a soft, sweet-looking lippie that would be perfect paired up with a light pink blush and soft eyeshadows. This is also the perfect shade for a young lady-in-the-making since it is barely there, yet noticeable. I won't buy it again simply because I have a ton of Pink Sugar-Like glosses already, but I don't regret buying the tube I have :)

I love this lipstick!
I have very pigmented lips, and this lightens them up a bit.
It has a beautiful shimmer and glitter that I just love, and the color is very pretty.
I'm very fair, and this is a great nude for anyone with fair skin.
The glitter may be a bit rough when you're applying the lipstick, but I kinda like that.
Will definatley rebuy!

I picked this up and it was a beautiful pinky nude, it looked like the PERFECT colour. When I put it on it was glittery and super sheer. After a while it leaves just bits of glitter on your lips and it looks like you have crumbs on your lips. It is a s**t lipstick, totally do not reccomend it. The glitter ruins it for me. Huuuugggge waste of money.

I actually like this lipstick. My eye makeup is usually very heavy, so I'm careful with lipsticks so that I don't look like a painted lady. This works well on my pale face, as long as I apply a thin layer. It's also great for layering over other lipsticks. Just use sparingly, if you overdo your lips will look like a discoball.

This lipstick was so dry and left my lips feeling terrible - not to mention the glitter it left on my lips - ick! This stuff isn't cheap in Canada, even when you buy it at Wal-mart, so I had some higher expectations I guess. Won't use it ever again - don't buy!!

Alot of people complain about the lipstick shimmer and sheerness. I think the glitter and shimmer is beautiful on my lips and if you are careful when you apply it, it wouldn't look so bad. The color is sheer but it does show up slightly on my lips. It gives a slight baby pink tint to them. What I like most about this lipstick is that it doesn't sink into lip lines or flake. Again, I think this lipstick is way too expensive for a drugstore lipstick. For just a couple more dollars, you can shell out enough for a MAC lipstick. If you are looking for a pigmented lipstick, this is definitely not for you. But if you want to try a sheer lipstick that wears like a gloss, this is for you.

No color payoff which is a shame! It's just ultra sheer. It's basically a lip balm & gives a soft glow to your natural lips. Love CB tubes though!

I don't like this too much. It's like putting straight glitter and shimmer on your lips. Hardly any coior shows up. I gave this to my young daughter to play with. It reminds me of cheap play makeup for kids. This is a waste of money.

I really like this! Don't know why people are complaining about the glitter. It just gives it a little glow on your lips, and it doesn't feel gritty to me. It also doesn't wash me out too much like most nudes do. Fairly sheer and it feels moisturizing, but one or two coats is enough to give me that "pale pink nude" lip. A lovely lippy to pair with my usual makeup of black liquid eyeliner, possibly some light brown e/s, and a touch of blush and highlighter.
*Note: I'm very pale, with yellow undertones, and medium brown hair.

I love this pale pink color. However it is so sheer that it will never be a pale pink color unless your lips are lightly pigmented. Also applying this lipstick feels like swiping sandpaper on your lips, the glitter is just tacky! On the lips the glitter is subtle, that is if you swipe once but, I had to swipe about 30 times before I got a muddy pink color to show up and by then my lips looked like a floodlight! I won't buy this again.

This is a FABULOUS soft pink shimmery nude. I think it works best on fair blondes...maybe with slightly yellow skin undertones. I am so happy with it - it is like Underage lipglass in lipstick form. Milky, shimmery, pale, nude. So glad I bought it.

Beautiful, natural, and soft color... The glitter is subtle and cute! However, it is quite gritty and it doesn't last that long - pretty sheer... I wish it did because it is a really nice color and goes very well with my skin tone and hair color (blonde and medium skin tone). I would suggest pairing this with a medium rose colored lip liner which will make it stay a little longer. No need for gloss, it has its own shine.

I bought this recently from CVS Pharmacy for $6.49 with $4 Extrabucks at checkout - so it was kind of like paying $2.49 for it. I'm not positive, but I believe that sale is still going on. Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick in the shade Pink Sugar is a sheer, light pink with silver/golden flecks of glitter. The lipstick has a yellow undertone, which is what drew me to purchase it. In the tube, it reminds me a bit of MAC Hue - but a little bit lighter. Swatched next to each other, they are quite different. While Hue is a true "bubble gum" pink, Pink Sugar is more of a "cotton candy" pink - like Nars Turkish Delight. The biggest disappointment with this lipstick is the pigmentation. It is incredibly sheer, and no matter how many times you swipe it across your lips, it will never look like the color you see when you look at the tube. Also, this lipstick has a lot of glitter, so it feels a little gritty on your lips - which is not something I'm very crazy about. When it's on my lips, I don't find the glitter to be very noticeable. You definitely have to moisturize your lips prior to application because the very light pigment can settle into dry cracks and accentuate your dryness. It has a "glaze" finish, which I really like. I think this lipstick is best suited for lighter skin tones. It would be a great sheer, nude for those with little pigment in their lips. This may not be the best lipstick for very pigmented lips, as it may wash you out & make your lips appear slightly gray or purple. If you like MAC Underage lipglass, you may like this. I find them to be similar in depth. Underage is a color that really didn't suit my NC40 skin tone, as it made my lips appear gray in color. So after testing it once, I gave it away. This lipstick looks the best on me when I have little to no self tanner on. This color is light and sheer and glittery. I like it because I can use a darker lip liner like Colorstay pink/rose under and have a beautiful long lasting color to my lips. The color looks very natural and similar to my gums which is important.

Such a pretty color in the tube.. Too bad it's nothing like that on the lips. Very sheer - only silver glitter shows up. Also grainy texture on the lips.

Could have been a great color if the pigment showed up!

beautiful colour; a nice, light pinky-nude that (thank god!) does not come out orange! i would suggest making sure you have exfoliated lips before using this. it has a subtle glitter that will look really gross if your lips aren't smooth.

I was excited to try this, because on the container it looked like the perfect nude-pink. I've always been nervous about trying lipstick, because I hate the old-lady feel of it. I was so pleasantly surprised with this lipstick. It was sheer and creamy with a touch of sparkle that wasn't overly obvious. The only issue I had with it was that it was very, very sheer, and even after a couple coats it wasn't very noticeable. I didn't mind so much because I was afraid of the old-lady look of caked on lipstick, like I said before. This was almost more of a gloss! I really liked it, and would buy it again.

I must be crazy, because I LOVE THE GLITTER. It's not chunky, over-the-top, disco-ball glitter, it's a subtle, glowy glitter. I really love this lipstick for a glammy day look. It's very smooth and it gives a really pretty fresh, young look to my lips. Haters are going to hate, but I personally love this lipstick.

This is a really pretty color. HOWEVER it's ridiculously glittery. I have no problems w/ sheen and sparkle, but huge chunks of glitter are just tacky. The color is pretty sheer, so a couple swipes are needed to build it up. By the time you've built enough color your lips will be glittery enough to be seen from miles away. Pretty disappointing, but I'm loving several other shades from the Colorburst line.
