This sh*t is bomb. I bought it last fall and reach for it whenever I'm having "skin woes" and it covers every bit of redness without ever looking over the top. I own the "103" color and I'm a N20 for reference. Slightly oily/hormonally angry skin and it works like a charm. The trick is to make sure you blend it throughly and use sparingly. I squeeze a bit out and dot it all over my face and go to work with a duo-fiber (skunk) brush. Set with el cheapo NYC loose transparent powder and we're set. It's $5-$7 for a tube so you can't really go wrong. It really does last all day without going bad on me at some point (settling, flakes, all those annoyances).

Pros:
-lasts for 10+ hours
-satin finish
Cons:
-cakey, especially with powder
-limited range of colors
-hard to blend
-dries really fast
-light coverage
Overall, the cons outweigh the pros. It takes a lot of work to make it look nice, and it accentuates the dry patches around my mouth. This is going in the garbage.

PROS
-I like the sqeeeze tube form it comes in making it super easy to take out
-inexpensive
-goes on smoothly ( I apply it with my fingers for even coverage)
-lasts all day with no need for touch-ups
-a little goes a long way so you dont need to use alot of product
-good smell
CONS
-not a large range of shades, so you might not find your true color, but you can fix that with your face powder
-not a buildable foundation so you cant put 2 layers for more coverage
Overall more pros then cons, I think its a great buy especially if you have clear skin!

Hate this foundation!! Used it twice then passed it on, feels terrible on my skin like thick horrible syrup! Felt heavy and suffocating my skin.

I am in love with this foundation for so many reasons. I picked one up in every shade for my kit after I purchased one for myself. The shade ranges are a little skimpy, it could use a few darker shades (it's disappointing).
As for the pros:
- the price is ridiculously cheap for a great formula. It was around $7.
- the container is very convenient. Just squeeze a bit out. It keeps everything clean, controls the amount you deposit at once.
- the coverage is fantastic, a small amount goes a long way. I use about a dime sized amount for full coverage of my entire face.
- it truly lasts ALL day. I put it on in the morning, set it with powder & I stay completely matte all day. There is hardly any oxidizing that's noticeable. It also doesn't separate on my nose like other long-lasting foundations do.
Cons:
- the shade range lacks a lot of necessary shades. Also, the typical shade names aren't true to the actual shade as it's applied. Darker shades apply lighter on the skin as well. For example, Ivory is quite a dark pink undertone, that's almost leaning towards beige. Thankfully I bought all the shades, so I just mix them together to create a perfect shade.
Overall, it's an awesome foundation with an amazing formula. You can't beat it for the price I don't think.

Let me first start of saying that I was on the hunt for a new foundation for my dry skin. I needed something that was long-wearing, made my skin look not dry but also not oily, and something that I could wear everyday. and this is the BEST foundation I have tried that has matched my high expectations for foundations. This makes my skin look incredibly healthy( not oily, but not dry) but still on the matte side of things. I have gotten multiple compliments on my skin when wearing this foundation. I think it gives me a gorgeous finish. Also, something important to note is that this foundation actaully looks BETTER as the day progresses. which is AMAZING. I love this foundation so much, I think it's much better than the Revlon Color stay(stay away from that if your skin is dry). I can even apply this with just my hands and it still gives amazing coverage and awesome look to the skin, but I usually use this with the Real techniques face brush. Great quality foundation. Highly recommend this for anyone.

This is the worst foundation I've ever used. I got it because I was just getting into foundations last summer. It's matte which I don't prefer but I don't mind. But this foundation is cakey with the thinnest layer. It gives medium coverage. I can't stand it because no matter how much I blend it it looks like I'm wearing a mask

I have dry skin which over compensates and ends up oily. So I tried slathering on oil and then waiting a minute or two then applying primer and then the foundation. My skin ends up pretty matte all day..
I wouldnt say this lasts 25 hours but it lasts about 9 hours which is enough for me. You must use cream cleanser to clean this off!!! Normal face wash doesn't quite cut it.
Use sparingly or it will cake and look really thick. Less is more in this foundation, If I apply it thin, I use loose powder to set it and it doesn't cake.
I have bought this foundation in 3 colours and because I am in Australia, it's way more exy than in the states. Chemist warehouse sells this at $14 which is cheaper than most places.

I've bought this product three times already and I absolutely do NOT REGRET buying it. I have oily skin and it does not show much shine on the face. It does indeed stay on for a long time, but I'm not sure for 25 hours. I haven't worn it that long to know. The shades in the bottle does, at first, look darker, but it is much-much lighter then the bottle. I'd recommend testing it first. I buy mine for 11$ at Shoppers and I do know they sell some at London Drugs for 7$, so it's pretty affordable.

I have oily and acne skin to begin with and I'm always on the seach for foundations that can cover my zits/scars and is oil free . I love the coverage of ELDW but I had to combine 2 shades and i usually end up looking too fair.
I read the rave reviews here and I decided to try. Couldn't find this in Singapore but i got 2 tubes in shade 202 from Malaysia. They didn't carry many shades there so this was closest to my skin tone.
Color Match: It was a tad dark for my skin but it still looks ok when apply with lighter shade setting powder ( I used MAC MSF in medium plus).
Lasting Power: The first time I tried this foundation, i was in an air-conditioned place. My face feels a little bit oily on my T-zone by the end of the day. The 2nd time I tried this on, I was sweating from the heat. After 2 hours, I feel like the foundation slide off my face. My t-zone looks shiny especially around my nose. I had to blot a number of times but I still look shiny.
Coverage: I don't think this is thick enough for me as I only apply one layer. I still need to apply concealer on my scars and zits. When i touched my skin after application, my skin felt sticky and it looks dewy. I prefer a matte finish for my oily skin.
Application: Its blendable and easy to apply. I tried applying this with a sponge and flat foundation brush but i prefer it with sponge as it gives me more control.
Overall: Personally I think this foundation didn't suit me. I hated that it felt sticky on my skin. I would only use this on cooler weather and for short hours.

Great bargain and terrific coverage without being heavy. I apply this with a foundation brush and finish with Rimmel stay matte pressed powder for great coverage that last throughout the day without getting blotchy and it tends to keep shine away too. Highly recommended

I was hoping this product would give me a matte finish, but it gave me a rather dewey finish. It's very oily, although it claims to be oil free. I got oily after wearing this for maybe 2 hours, even with primer. It comes off very easily too; I have yellow stains on my shirts to prove it. Maybe this product will work better for someone who has dry skin. The packaging could have been better. If you're not careful, the product will come out in large amounts. And since you have to squeeze the product out, it's always a difficulty to get the right amount. I definitely will not buy this product again.

This foundation looks very thick and cakey! No matter how sheer I applied it, it always looks thick and unnatural on the skin. It also sits in fine lines and wrinkles and draws attention to pores. The lightest color is also a little too dark for me, so I wish it came in a lighter shade! The finish is semi-matte. This is NOT a flat matte finish foundation. It can has a satin finish and can also look a bit dewy if you have oily skin. I definitely have to set it with powder or it looks super shiny. Unfortunately, it also transfers easily and tends to wear off patchy during the day. Feels very heavy on the skin! This does not make your skin look smooth either, as it tends to highlight any textural imperfections. It also tends to get greasy throughout the entire day. If you touch your face the foundation wipes off very easily. Will not repurchase, feels suffocating on the skin. It has a very masky appearance and it will make you look like your wearing a thick layer a makeup, even when applied sheerly.

LOVE this stuff! I love full coverage foundations, so this and Revlon Colorstay are my two favorites. The color selection is limited, but the lightest shade is perfect for my skin. And this stuff LASTS!! Even after a long gym session, this stuff stays!

This foundation is pretty good for a drugstore product. I picked this up in 200 soft beige, which is a bit too light for my skintone but bronzer helps out. Medium coverage: little goes a long way!!! This product is a bit thick but easy to blend. this foundation has a semi-matte finish. Doesnt set fast. I mainly powder in my t-zone and just lightly powder the rest of my face. Has a floral scent and comes In a squeeze tube. I would repurchase in my correct shade.

This is a $7(there abouts) medium coverage foundation that I'll buy simply because it's the best of it's type for its price range. But, I don't love this product. Here's why:
Currently, I've been using this foundation (for the second time) only because I'm in a bind. My HG foundation, Kat von D's lock-it foundation in light 44, has been out of stock as of late and I hate every other foundation I've ever tried.
This Rimmel foundation is cheap, and has a build-able coverage. Apply an all over layer, then apply another layer where you need more coverage. I do find that this foundation transfers a little, but it's nothing horrible and I won't stop use because of it.
I use the lightest shade in 100 and it's the wrong color. It's too dark and orangy. I have a more beige undertone and I have the worst time finding a foundation to match me. It's not a super huge deal, I'm a rockstar and I powder and contour and blush and highlight until I look good, but what a waste of time. If I swatched this "light" shade, you'd think I picked a solid medium, it's not light by any means. Yes, it blends out to slightly lighter, but yikes, not even close, really.
Also, I'm lucky if this stuff stays on my face for 12 hours, let alone 25. I realize that it's not to be taken literally, but I can definitely see a huge difference from when I put it on in the morning to when I see myself in the afternoon. I moisturize, exfoliate, apply primer (currently testing out Rimmel, Smashbox, tarte, bare minerals, and hard candy to find my HG primer), and I set my foundation with a powder. Regardless, this doesn't blow me away, but I'm stuck with it. Hurry up, Sephora, restock my Kat von D foundation, I'm dying here!

I took advantage of a sale at Shoppers Drug Mart and got several Rimmel products, including this foundation.
My initial thoughts:
Texture and Finish:
The texture and consistency is somewhat on the thick side, although it's far from pancake makeup.
This foundation gives medium to full coverage so if you like a sheer look, this one isn't for you.
There is a particular fragrance but nothing I can't tolerate.
Durability:
After nearly 8 hours of wearing this stuff, the coverage is still decent with minimal shine breakthrough. (I'm trying out the Stay Matte powder which is probably helping)
I do notice some dry patches on my chin and right cheek, which are prone to dryness. (hormonal acne on the chin)
I wouldn't recommend this foundation for drier skin types. It seems best for normal to slightly combination or slightly oily skin types.
Overall, I like this foundation for the smooth finish it gives me although I'll get better use in the summer when my skin gets oilier.
The colour selection is mediocre but if you can find your shade, this is a good bargain to try out.

I think, after 2 bottles and many months of use, it is safe to say I have found my HG foundation. Here are my reasons for making such a bold declaration:
Skin type: Oily. Plain and simple. Revlon CS can't make it 6 hours on this face, but Rimmel lasting finish has gone 12+ hours and still looked ::almost:: as good as when first applied.
Color: 103 is the same color as my skin. I have NEVER found this good of a shade match in 15 years of wearing makeup.
Coverage: Insane!! I have acne scars and redness that disappear when I use this stuff. Do be careful not to over apply, as you will end up with cake face.
Price: Dirt cheap, especially when you can find a coupon or a decent sale. I don't think I've paid full price for it yet.
Others have mentioned that they did not care for the packaging, but I rather like it. It is travel friendly, hygienic and easy to control the amount dispensed. Yes, the shade range is limited, but if you can find a match and are looking for a full coverage foundation, I would highly recommend giving this a try!

Surprisingly this acts as a great undereye concealer, mainly because of it's staying power. I layer this on top of my under eyes and I'm great for the whole day. Beats any concealer I've purchased (and I'm a concealer junkie!) give it a try.

The tube packaging is bad! If you lay it on it's side or upside-down, the product will come out everywhere inside the lid, resulting in a lot of product wasted. So keep it upright (lid up) to avoid this problem.
***Update: Even with vigorous scrubbing, I can't remove this foundation completely from my face. Probably due to the heavy amount of silicones in it. Wahh!
It does indeed accentuate my flakes. My face looks horrible 3 hours after applying a quarter-size amount with a foundation brush.
