Very liquid formula. Doesn't separate the lashes. Doesn't last. It's clumpy. The curved brush is uncomfortable when applying (at least for my eye). I stopped using it because it did nothing for my lashes, only a little bit of tint.

LOVE!
I LIKED max volume in the pink, at first, but the secong time i bought it, not as good. This one is awesome, very similar to maybelline volum curve or whatever.... kashes look so dark, so thick and so long! it was under 5$ @ walmart. blows away lash blast, dior, YSL, hard candy, UD, lancome, EVERYTHING. buy it, worth the risk for sure.

After using this for a while I have realized the brush is way to big and the formula is way to clumpy for lashes. It also doesn't separate lashes and leaves them very clumpy.

I like that the tube is rounded and small, but I don't like the formula. It was too wet for me at first, and it was a huuuuge pain because my eyelashes are long, so they would hit above my eye and leave black marks. It would also clump way too quickly. Now that it's drier, it's better. It definitely doesn't deliver very much volume. I would say it mostly just defines my lashes, darkens them, and lengthens them a little bit. I thought I would like the curved brush, and I do think it does a decent job with "lift" because it can actually follow the curve of lashes from the base, but I don't like that the tip is tapered because it means it's best if I flip my wrist when doing my left eye so the tapered end is in the inner corner again. It's just doesn't do anything amazing and certainly isn't dramatic, so I would rather spend my money on other drugstore mascaras. It's not the worst mascara ever for sure, but after trying some other drugstore kinds, this is just disappointing. It also smudges a lot on me by the end of the day, on my upper and lower eyelids, so that's not great, but I do have oil skin.

I've been on the mascara hunt for a few years so every new one that comes out I just have to try even if I have a drawer full already. I was very pleasantly surprised by this one. Most rimmel products have been a miss for me (except lip products); this builds volume quickly although it was a tendency to smear so I took off one lippie for that; the deep black shade is perfect (blacker the pigment the better!); curling is so-so but the small flaws are made up for in volume. This is on my short list of mascaras I would buy again (including l'oreal voluminous; maybelline (the new curling/volume lines) and pupa diva (love the cobalt blue shade); marcelle (the volume/length one).

Based on the reviews here on MUA, it seems like this is kinda a love/hate product. For me, it's more of a love product. It adds a *lot* of volume with just one coat, lengthens very well, and emphasizes the curve in my already-curled eyelashes. It gives me a wide-eyed, beautiful lash look! It's also a true black pigment, which I like.
I took one lip-stick off because it just doesn't curl eyelashes that well on its own- I don't think Rimmel should have advertised the mascara like that because I feel no mascara can do that, provide a super-curve. If you want it to always look perfect, you might consider reapplying around lunch-time, that was another -1 lip-stick factor.
Overall, I'd consider giving this mascara a try! :)

I'm between a 2 and 3 on this one...it's bit clumpy, and it doesn't do much for curling, which is supposed to be the biggest claim for this mascara. It works fine if you have a lot of patience and time to work with it--but most of us don't have that kind of time every day.

Provided me with good volume and length, but the amount of clumps that I get with this mascara is enough to stop me from using it or repurchasing it in the future. It doesn't layer well either and gives me spider lashes. I wouldn't recommend.

Took a few applications for this product to sort of thicken up and for me to get a handle on application, but now, love it.
I've used almost everything, from YSL cils effect through to face of australia, and this is the best I've used so far.
Clear defined lashes, NO FLAKING (I have oily skin and this is usually a big issue for me), and it is a lovely black.
Downside is that it doesn't curl as much as I'd like, but works great with a curler. A re-application during the day helps.
Overall my fav product at the moment in terms of value for money.

This is one of the worst mascaras I have used. Lured by a cheap sale price, I purchased this to try despite having sworn off all Rimmel mascaras years ago (every single one I tried disappointed). Basically this will coat your lashes with a wet layer of black. Not really any lengthening or volumizing, just darkening. It should be marketed as a lash tint. Several coats will begin to build on your lashes, but it doesn't work too well because the mascara is so wet and it will begin clumping. I don't mind a little clumping--I like the doll lash look--but this stuff just mushes my lashes together if I keep coating it on. Not a good look.

When I first bought this mascara, it was very wet and messy. It took a times using this mascara for it to get to a consistency that was easy to work with. When I pull the brush out of the bottle, I notice that a lot comes out onto the brush at once.
However, this is definitely one of my all-time favorites mascaras. My lashes always come out long and thick with this one. I am always buying and trying new mascaras and this one is my go-to when I've bought one that sucks.

Honestly Ididn't like this mascara the first timeI used it as a matter a fact I liked about 5 times afterI used it. I actually think it needed some air to get in there so it got a little goopy - anyhow..i loved itttt it makes my lashes long and thick and it separates them awsomely!!! =)

This is the best mascara I have ever used (and I've tried a lot of expensive mascaras from Dior, YSL, Lancome, etc.) including many drug store brands. I stopped using my Shu Umera eyelash curler all together. This stuff makes my short, straight lashes look like fake lashes. Amazing. It takes some time to apply, but totally worth it.

This mascara comes in a bright green and pink tube, which doesn't look classy as such, but it does look quite cool. The brush is essentially a cross between a giant Diorshow brush and the Maybelline falsies brush - quite fat and curved. To be honest, I think the Maybelline brush helps you get a better curl, and the size of the brush makes it difficult to get all the lashes without putting mascara on your skin. It also doesn't seem to separate the lashes well. Obviously, I was not too impressed with the brush.
This mascara advertises itself as an 'extreme volume and lift mascara', but I didn't really find that it added any volume, and because the brush made my lashes stick together, I ended up looking like I had less lashes than I started with! Also, whatever curl the brush helps you get when you first put it on, the formula of the mascara itself does not help it last. After about 2 hours of wear, my eyelashes basically looked like their normal straight selves.
I got this for £5 something in an offer instead of my usual Maybelline falsies, which is a few pounds more expensive, I definitely will not be repurchasing in spite of the price difference, and I doubt I'll be using it except when all my other mascaras have run out!

I really love the packaging of this product, first and foremost. The brush is really big which I love, and it does curve lashes quite well. Although you should expect clumps when using it. I got it for Christmas so that's the only way I came upon it, and I'll have to say I'm not quite as disappointed with it as I thought I'd be, but there is better out there.

ewww i hate this stuff, its soo clumpy the lid doesnt get enough of the excess off, i have to wipe it on the edge of the tube, little bits of the mascara seem to crumble under my eyes which is really annoying!
It makes my eyelashes look longer but then 10mins later they just droop back to normal, defo wont be buying this again also it was £7 not worth it.

I really, really love this mascara. Usually I have to layer two mascaras over one another to achieve long, seperated lashes, but with this, I only had to use two to three coats! My lashes are curled (without using a curler), long, and beautifully defined. I have not often used a curved brush, but it sure does have its benefits! I tend to use the inside first, and then to lengthen and thicken I use the outside to distribute more product.
