Glitzerland is a beautiful champagne gold that sometimes looks nearly silver in certain lighting. I'm a Pittsburgh Penguins' fan so I love to wear this shade for games. It is a sophisticated color but still feels fun. I love it :)

Glitzerland is gorgeous. I usually stay away from lighter colors, but this glimmery champagne color caught my eye and I am thankful that I made the purchase! It's sophisticated and understated, beautiful without trying to hard to be holiday or gold. It's muted and applies with ease as most OPI does, looks sharp after 2 coats. No complaints, easy to take off as well because the glitter isn't chunky and thick. Looks fabulous on my NW25 skin and reminds me of bubbly..what's not to love!?

this color is awesome! i bought it in the warmer months but can't wait to use it for christmas time to break up my various reds and wine shades. i will not repurchase only because i cant see using it unless it was christmas and maybe part of the summer. it is a sparkly beautiful shade though.

Preety champagne gold color, as another reviewer had said. You only need about 2 coats, I used 3-4 and it looks great. Dried really fast, really hard to mess up. It didn't give me that really foiled-chrome look that I wanted, it was more metallic shimmer. Good neutral gold for holiday wear. I would repurchase.

Looking at swatches OPI's Swiss Collection, I instantly fell in love with this color that seemed to good to be true. And I wasn't disappointed when I painted it on my nails. I am an NC20, and the color looks gorgeous on me, as I imagine it would on multiple skintones. The consistency of this polish reminds me of pure gold: the color looks solid after two coats, the glitter is fine and beautifully set in. I am looking at my nails compulsively now, only to admire this color!

I love this polish. I already own Bling Dynasty from the Hong Kong collection but the two polishes are different enough that they don't compete in my collection. Bling Dynasty is a 24k gold where as Glitzerland is a more elegant champagne gold. It's so beautiful against my pale skin. A definite must have in a polish collection.

I saw this color of gold shimmery polish & thought it looked awesome. It does come out very glam, but the problem I had was it was too thick & dried too fast during application.

Glitzerland is a nice soft golden glitter polish. The glitter isn't chunky or big at all. It is just a very fine, almost shimmer, glitter. I applied 2 coats to get the finish I wanted and to make it, basically, opaque. It lasts well on the nails...and when it does start to show wear or chips, because of the color, it isn't very obvious. After I wore this on all the nails for several days, I included it in a water marble...it works really well and very pretty in a water marble. Would I repurchase? I'm going to say no because I don't wear golds very often so I don't see myself going through this polish quickly at all.

OPI Glitzerland is from the Swiss Collection 2010. The polish is gold with lots of fine micro glitters. When I put the first coat on, it looks opaque enough and I put a second coat, the color becomes more solid. But I decide to put 3 coats and it really turns out nce. I would have to say the color is cool gold. It's not too yellow but it's very pretty. I do agree with other viewers that once you place the color in the sunlight, it looks more foil finish. It can also be a Christmas color too. Even though this is a cool tone gold color, I find it will suit anyone. So far, the Swiss Collection is surprisingly good when it comes to color, application, formula and very quick to dry. I will definitely recommend this color to everyone.

this nail polish turned out a lot better than i expected. i've never painted my nails a gold shade, so i wasn't too sure if i was going to like it on me. i'm an nc 30-35 and it looks great on my skin tone. the one thing that i always judge a nail polish on is how easy it is to apply. the glitzerland's consistency is perfect. it's super easy and takes 2 coats to become opaque, maybe even one if you make it a bit thick. i can't stop staring at my nails, it's a shimmery pale gold. reminds me of christmas.

This is a great gold glitter nail polish. It is opaque in 2 coats which is pretty impressive. I would totally recommend to anyone who like gold and glitter. The glitter is not chunky at all, rather it is very fine and the polish goes on smoothly. This is a great polish and it is subtle in some lighting and very eyecatching in others. I would recommend to anyone who loves this type of polish! :)

I had to write a review on this ... it's AMAZING! The colour is a perfect burnished dark-champagne gold that's not too yellow. Looks like foil when it's not in the sun, but you see all the teeny sparkly bits when it hits the light. Went on super smooth, no streaking, and two coats made it opaque -- though it looked nice after just the first coat too. I applied OPI Top Coat over it, and it hasn't chipped in almost a week (and that's saying something because I'm not exactly careful about my nails!)
It's also the perfect transition colour from summer to fall. All in all, a fantastic shade. It's making me way more interested in the rest of the Swiss collection than I was before.

This nail polish is beautiful in the bottle; that's why I got it. Once on however, it is the exact color of my skin, in a very unflattering way. For reference, I am an NC20.

Glitzerland is the gold of the glittery/foil colours from the Swiss collection for fall/winter2010. Apparently the formulation for this and Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous (the silver toned one) is new for OPI. It's like a shimmer metallic with fine foil glitter, and it has quite a lot of this, so it gives it the overall appearance that it is purely foil. However, when it hits the light, you can see all the fine little shimmery foil particles, and it looks great. Glitzerland can best be described as a champagne gold, so it's quite neutral and really classy looking.
I found the formula to be easy to apply - no streaking, and it has a great reflect. It is a relatively opaque coverage on the 1st coat, with the 2nd coat giving me total coverage. It could possibly be used on top of another polish for a sparkly effect (if applied very very thinly), but it will block out some of the other colour underneath. This would be great though to use on the tips, as an alternate to the white of a french mani. I saw this applied as a french, using one of the reds from the Swiss collection all over, then this on the tips - great for a Christmas look. But you would definitely need to apply top coat for this, as it started wearing off the tips of my nails not too long after applying, but I only did 2 thin coats and did not apply a top coat. And 2 thin coats is enough - I tried applying a 3rd, but the beigy-tone of the polish started coming through more & didn't look too nice. So less is more for this colour. It's quite nice when it hits the light, and I can see myself wearing this in summer as well, because I think it will look great out in the sun.
