Like it a lot. It volumizes my lashes n makes them look longer. However, it does leave them feeling a little dry...
But this mascara makes a difference, I don't think I will be doing without it anytime soon. It's on my list of HG drugstore products.

I am on my third or 4 th of these and wont change. It stays on well with no clumps or smudges and volumizes and lengthens so well. It doesn't flake off during the day like lash architect and comes off easily with no messy fibres. I use the non waterproof one but am considering getting waterproof for summer. It's perfect really and does what mascara should.

This mascara is my fail safe! I like 'em long, tall, and thick and this mascara delivers! No offensive odor(no more than any other mascara), beautiful packaging, great brush, and a decent formula! Only complaints: 1) flakes a bit throughout the day. 2) formula is a bit dry or dries out fast. 3) stinks at getting those elusive outer corner lashes. 4) half the product ends up on my eyelids. All in all I always come back to this one! My mom used Great Lash for about 20 years! I tried for forever to convince her that it was terrible to no avail. Finally convinced her to try this mascara and she flipped! I shook her makeup world forever! lol Love it!

As for catching every lash and making my lashes look thicker this mascara did it for me I loved the way it made my lashes look thick and fluttery however my downside was that it does flake off during the day and even with curling my lashes they didn't keep their volume it seemed to weigh down my lashes and I didnt like that. Overall I thought it was a pretty good mascara. I have to pair this with the telescopic one to get the look I want

I think this is a really good basic mascara, but I don't know if it would be my first recommendation to anyone -- it doesn't really replace any mascara in my collection. I was actually hoping to replace my beloved Max Factor 2000 Calories (not discontinued, I was just out of my normal makeup-buying country at the time and didn't want to go mascara-free) with something similar and MAYBE even better, ie. very long-lasting but not waterproof, volumizing, non-clumpy, and generally very enhancing without being unnatural or stiff. I think this fits the bill pretty well in lookalike terms, but I notice that it does run a bit more and start to smudge a bit toward the end of an 6-hour day... I never wear it on my bottom lashes for this reason, which is too bad because I like to have flexibility in that regard. I don't really notice any lengthening or curling at all, though I guess it promises volume more than anything else. Unfortunately I also find that the Black Brown shade is, like 2000 Calories, just plain black... but I think this might be true of all drugstore mascaras.
There ARE a lot of likable things about this mascara, though, as I mentioned up top: it's very buildable and soft-looking while still building up quite a bit of volume, it doesn't bother my extremely sensitive eyes, and it rinses off easily with any face wash or just warm water.

This is my favorite mascara and I always come back to it. It doesn't flake throughout the day, and gives a very natural, full look. I like voluminous lashes but not at the expense of having them look spidery. This makes my eyelashes look like my own but better. The smell is not offensive and curling my lashes beforehand makes it even better, since it's not a curling mascara.

With so many mascaras on the market, especially in the drugstore aisle, and especially in L'oreal's display alone....I get confused, frustrated, angry, and then resort to buying a hyped mascara only to see it underperform or not live up to standards. For the record, I have sparse, thin, short, straight lashes. They are not my forte, which is why I'm forever searching.
This mascara was chosen on a whim. I usually like lengthening mascara more than volumizing ones, due to my irrational fear of spidery lashes and clumps. I like how the packaging looks (so lux!) , and for 8 bucks I figure it wasn't a total loss.
It holds a curl and lengthens very well for a volumizing claim! The cooler thing is, since it's a wet formula, it's easy to curl before AND after. The best part is that my lashes are now at least noticeable from afar since the color is so black and rich. The only downside is that the plastic wand is a little pokey, but it gives excellent definition for even my smallest inner corner lashes and isn't too cumbersome for my hooded small eyes. Will repurchase. Can't say the same for the Falsies or the Rocket mascara.

I've purchased this several times. Definitely my favourite mascara. I have short eyelashes and it keeps them curled and long :)

I love this product! actually keeps my lashes curly and very defined.

*This review is for the Voluminous Million Lashes x2 in carbon black formula.*
I'm still trying out this mascara so it's a tentative repurchase.
If you found the Voluminous Million Lashes Excess too goopy then this might be a better alternative.
For me, it's a nice medium between the original Million Lashes and the Excess Million Lashes.
Nice, creamy formula that isn't too wet or too dry
Rich, dark black colour
Bristle brush grabs onto lashes and coats them evenly
Builds nice length and decent volume (if you want really fat, dramatic lashes you may not like this)
Gives nicely defined lashes that look even and not choppy
No smudging (so far)
It's more of a lengthening mascara imo and if I want more volume, I need to layer it with extra coats
Can clump if you're not careful
Has a slight smell which may bother sensitive eyes
so far, yes
While I still love Chanel's Le Volume and Lancome Definicils, I think Voluminous Million Lashes x2 is a decent runner up for less money.
I use Lancome Cils Booster as a lash primer to give my thin Asian lashes the extra boost and when I apply 2-3 coats of the Million Lashes mascara, I get nice long and fairly thick lashes that don't look clumpy or spidery.
