I bought this mascara simply because it was on sale, I normally wouldn't spend that much on a drugstore mascara.
So I tried it and at first it was great, it lengthened my lashes and separated them really well. However, I really don't get why it is labelled as a mascara that creates volume in your lashes as it really doesn't.
And just like many others have said, its great for the first few uses until it turns to crap. Now when i try to use it, this product tangles my lashes and clumps them, not to mention it flakes off almost immediately. Thus, I was in love with it for the first few uses but now I am looking for a new mascara.
I really don't think it was worth the amount I paid for it.

I have repurchased it several times. I find it separates the lashes well but doesn't give me much length or volume, which is making wonder as I type why I keep repurchasing it (have considered and decided I won't anymore)!

I have found that it applies really well the first few uses, but then dries up and doesn't do a lot, maybe this is why I repurchased, because I like it the first few times!

So to begin, I like this mascara overall. It is a good everyday mascara which doesn't clump but also won't build very much for me. It is on the drier side and the brush really does separate lashes and I love that. I hate the wet mascara that stick all your lashes together. However, it's not very noticeable that your wearing mascara unless you look up close. That may be a perk to some, but I like a more noticeable mascara personally. It is very natural but not very dramatic. Lengthens lashes but does not add much volume at all. Overall good for everyday. Doesn't smudge but does flake a bit. I feel like this gives a nice clean look for eyes unlike the stickier cakey mascara. Definitely the best for separating lashes that I've found in a mascara, so I love that, I just wish there was more volume!!!!

This mascara gives me volume and length. It works extremely well and I don't need to touch it up again for the day. The price is okay for l'oreal (most of the masacara's are around the same price). My lashes don't feel heavy but I have to say it is not the easiest mascara to get off. I definitely need to use special make-up remover for the eyes.

This is one of my favorite drugstore mascaras, along with Maybelline Full n' Soft. It gives you great separation and length, and I believe it's a perfect dupe for Lancome Definicils. I also adore the gold tube. It feels very glam and Mad Men!

I got this mascara in the shade Blackest Black, anfd man it applied too wet and smears really quickly, plus the smell is overbraring!! I prefer the waterproof over this one!! Will not repurchase!!

This mascara is my holy grail, giving separation, volume, and length. It builds well, making my lashes longer and thicker without clumpiness.

I decided to give this mascara a try when it was on sale for $5 at my local Bartell's. What I found what I opened the package disappointed me in both wand and formula quality.

First off, the formula was average. There was nothing thickening about it in my opinion. I've tried other DS mascaras that promises volume and even the most average of those did a better job than this one.

Secondly, my biggest problem about his mascara is the wand. For the record, I've never been a fan of the rubber wand, but I gave this product a try hoping to change my own mind. The result, as you can obviously see, was disappointment. Although the wand does a good job of separating individual lashes, it could not deliver enough product to make a difference. I had to put on several coats of mascara before I could see any difference in my lashes. Even then, the results were just average.

Because of its pointy tip, the wand carried too much product with it when I tried to deliver mascara into the corners of my eyes. I'd get no products on my lashes and clumps in the corners.

In short: too much work for an average result.

I tried this as I saw a good review on Youtube and I like rubber wands.
This smudged and flaked on me SO badly. I had panda eyes by my morning coffee break every single day.
After about a month I gave up and stopped using this. Ended up throwing it away as I could not get it to work for me at all. It was too bad, because I like the way it separated my lashes. It looked nice on, but only for a couple of hours until it smudged.
No thank you.
