Read the race reviews on this and picked it up at my local dollar store for only $3. Colors are all pretty neutral tones however they are all shimmer. Goes on great, like butter. So smooth. Color is great. The crease color I found somewhat 'blah' harder to blend and didn't really pop or define the crease, too light for that. But I love the other 2 shades and I'm sure ill be using this several times a week. Easy colors, easy application. I did use my MAC shadow brush to apply. Glad I got these. Better than NYX by far in my opinion. At $1 per color, you can't go wrong!

About me: NW13 (neutral-cool toned, very fair), blue eyes, Color season is True Summer, Baumann Skin Type is OSPW.

I have to be honest, while I found the quality of these shadows to be superb (smooth, buttery, pigmented) I didn't like how much shimmer is in these (would have been so much better as mattes!) nor am I a fan of how warm the shadows look on me. It's not as flattering as I would have hoped for this basic trio.

Highly pigmented, great wear, love the colors, this palette is a steal. I have a love-hate relationship with wet n wild but this is my so far favorite palette from them. Such a buttery texture, easy to apply.
Only downside is the 'brow bone' shade isn't that flattering on the browbone but is gorgeous on the inner tear duct area as a inner corner highlight

This stuff is the bomb. The colors are so pigmented and last all day (with a primer). They are a bit powdery but just a tap of your brush and your good to go. I wear this every day and I will repurchase when I run out and for $3 you can't go wrong with these shadows

I really enjoy this trio. It gives be a great natural eye look fast. I reach for this when I'm in a hurry and I always love the outcome! All the shadows in this trio are fairly pigmented, easy to blend, and all go on smooth.

First off, let me start by saying I'm someone who is really picky about eyeshadows, mostly because my skin is dry and my eye area/eyelids are also dry, so sometimes eyeshadow just feels chalky and exacerbates the existing dryness.

Some of my favourite brands include from TheBalm, Too Faced, Urban Decay - in other words, higher end stuff.

And I have to say, for the price, the quality is just so up there, I am absolutely shocked at how nice the shadows feel, and how long wearing they are.

There's never any creasing, and neutral shades in this particular trio are perfect for everyday use. My love for this has prompted me to purchase other WnW shadow palettes and I can't wait to see what they continue to release! A+

Wet n Wild eyeshadows deserve a place amongst my Urban Decay, Chanel, Guerlain, MAC, RBR, and Tarina Tarantino. I love the finish that this trio imparts onto my eyes. It just makes them look glowy and incandescent. While theres a little bit of fallout, it doesn't matter because the pigmentation and quality is so high.

Don't like the packaging, but the shadow is great. Feels and looks much more expensive than it is. Stays on all day with no creasing (with primer).

I honestly thought I wouldn't like this when I got it but I decided to pick it up anyway because it was so raved about. I'm really glad I did. This is a staple in my makeup collection. The texture and pigmentation is better than a lot of eyeshadows out there and probably the best in the drugstore. The colors are great for every day wear. The only cons is of course the packaging (dropped it once and everything shattered but since it was so cheap and readily available I got another one) and sometimes the colors can be a little too shimmery for my taste. Overall I think everyone should have this in their collection. I especially love the brown as a crease shade with another matte brown. Adds depth!

So, so sad you all - I was so excited to try this Color Icon Trio. Just looking at the colors, it seemed like it would work perfectly on my eyes, but alas it did not. The browbone and eyelid colors DO look good, so I'm planning to keep the kit and search for another color to blend them with. It's the middle crease color, a basic medium/dark brown, that is so disconcerting once on my lid. Another user suggested the coppery/bronze color would bring out green eyes, but instead it makes me look like a 16 year old who snuck into her mom's eyeshadows stash and is trying to look grown up. There's seriously something "off" when I put it on; I think the shade is has too many gold undertones, and that just doesn't work with my pale, cool toned skin. Urgh, so frustrating. Perhaps it's just me. This is the second Color Icon Trio I've tried that's fallen short of my expectations, but at least this one has two redeeming shades I'll work with.

Love this - my every day ES (though Stila Kitten is a fav). WNW is a no-guilt buy and I use the product over and over.

Pretty much my go-to HG trio for an everyday neutral look. For such an unbelieveable price point, these eye shadows are amazing: smooth, buttery, velvety, very pigmented and with a primer (currently I use MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre), these last all day. The colors look pretty average in the palette, but on the eye, they almost seem to glow from within. All three colors are shimmery, but not glittery, and even on my crepey eyes, they're perfect. Contrary to most reviews, my favorite is the middle crease color, which looks like a basic medium/dark brown in the pan, but on my eyelid it becomes a gorgeous coppery/bronze color. I have dark brown hair and hazel eyes, and this color looks amazing on my eyes, really bringing out the color. I bet it would look even more amazing on blue or green eyes. Paired with a coppery brown liner (I used Flirt! Brownie Points), just the brown crease color on my lid, black mascara, and it looks amazing. Probably my only con would be the packaging; sometimes it's hard to open it, and i usually end up dropping one of the little brushes. Small price to pay for such an amazing trio though, love it :)

I don't understand the rave reviews for this product - sure it's a nice palette and the shadows are quite highly pigmented, but many other drugstore palettes are just as good and have more exciting colors. For the price it's good but I wouldn't buy it again.

This brand continues to amaze me. I first started using the single shadow Nutty, then Brûlée. I wore them both almost the entire summer. It was so easy to travel with just these two small shadows. Then when these trios came out I purchased Eggshells first then Sweet as Candy. I'm ready to get a few others. I will say that I have a tendency to mix these with matte shades rather than use the palettes entirely on their own but that's just personal taste. All of the colors are very pigmented and last all day. I think my expensive shadows are getting jealous. :)

This is a really good every day eye palette. It isn't the most exciting palette out there, but it is a very good workhorse. You can create a very simple, polished look using only this palette and some liner. It is pretty warm-toned, but I think that most lighter skintones can probably still pull it off quite easily.

This trio seems good quality, I love the eyelid and brow bone color, I'm just not fond of the crease color. In the pan it looks like a nice dark brown though when I apply it on my lid it looks horrible..so yes I would buy this again because of the other colors but its not the best.

If you're looking for a simple, subtle, toned down, everyday palette, this trip is perfect for you! Obviously there isn't much colour to it, it's very toned down, but these colours together create a nice pulled together look. When I wear coloured lipstick and don't know how I want to do my eyes, I'll reach for this trio to keep the look simple. I wouldn't normally reach for this if I'm heading out on a weekend, but definitely a worthwhile staple in my collection!

I have been on the lookout for this trio for several months, but CVS always seems to be out of it (must be because of how awesome it is!). I finally snagged one yesterday and used it for the first time this morning. For reference, I am fair skinned with green eyes. I love this trio! I used it exactly as it is supposed to be used: medium shade on lid, lightest shade on browbone, and darkest in crease. It is silky and highly pigmented, and blends beautifully. What I really like about it is only a light touch is required. I simply swipe the two lighter colors on with the sponge applicator, and tap my blending brush into the darker color. I could see how there would be fallout with this product if you press too hard or try to pick up a lot of color on the brush, but since it is highly pigmented, that is not necessary. Try using just a light touch and you should get enough color. I did use a primer, which may have helped with the color adhering to my lids. These are shimmery shades, but not so much that they can't be used for daytime. I would say they are lightly shimmery, office appropriate nudes. They appear much more shimmery in the pan than they do on the skin. Best of all, the trio cost a mere $3, and will probably last a very long time. This is a great buy! If I had to choose one neutral pallette for my eyeshadow, this would be it.

I am pleased with this eyeshadow trio. I have been looking for a set of neutrals, but haven't been willing to fork up $10+ dollars for eyeshadow. I found this at Walgreens for $3. The price is awesome, the colors look really good when blended correctly and are super pigmented just as all of the other reviews say. This was an awesome steal for super cheap. I will definitely be repurchasing this product.
