All Benefit products are expensive here in KL, Malaysia, and this includes Some Kind-a Gorgeous but I bought it anyway as I'm willing to give it a try. It doesn't give me the coverage that I was expecting but it does even out my blotchy skin tone. It also gave me a natural glow, as if I'm not wearing make up. The texture is quite oily, but after a few minutes on my skin I'm surprised that my combination skin didn't have any oil problems at all.

I actually like this stuff. My skin: sensitive, oily, very minor imperfections (I have the occasional blemish and some light scarring). The color matches my N3 skin PERFECTLY. It really blends in to look natural. My one gripe is the packaging, I don't really like using my fingers to spread the product. Wash your hands before you use this product to avoid spreading bacteria onto your face. It evens out skin tone nicely and doesn't cover your skin -- it doesn't look like a mask. It doesn't prevent the oilies for coming, but doesn't make them worse. It DOES dry to a powder, which is nice. I would buy again. I like to use it on lazy days and when I go to school. I do not recommend this for those with problematic skin.

I don't have very problematic skin, so most of the time I just use a powder foundation to even out my skin tone. I have never finished a liquid or cream foundation and find that they are too cakey or streaky on my face, and I am so pale that even the lightest colors always turn out way too orange.

That being said, I love this product! The "lite" color blends in perfectly to my skin color without looking orange. It stays creamy just long enough to blend with a sponge wedge and doesn't feel sticky or take forever to set. I have dry skin so it doesn't seem to make my skin look greasy at all. I live in the extremely humid South Florida so even though I don't need to, I set it with a translucent powder after I apply blush/bronzer. It makes my skin look even and I love the powdery finish. The packaging is cute and although it's a little pricey, it has lasted me a while and I think it is worth a repurchase.

Bought this product in hope for a foundation allrounder to wear daily. The packaging is extraordinary (as most Benefit-stuffs) and i am still loving it. The product itself is not as exciting. I was a bit disappointed of the coverage and it is kind of hard to apply to your face. It did not suit my skin and looked greasy after a while.
What disappointed me most was the price (!) in reference to how fast i used it up. during the second weak i could already see the bottom of the packaging.
i can not recommend this.sorry.

I really wanted to love this product..especially for the money paid for it!
It goes on very greasy and it takes forever to blend in with a foundation brush. I used to sponge in the package for a while, but it literally ate up the product. The only way to salvage the application of this product is to put a serious dose of powder on top to even everything out. It covers nothing on your face.
On the plus side, it does match many skin tones and leaves your face feeling very soft.
I would advise you to save your money.

I used to use the original one (which they have now cleverly named "Medium") only in the summer, but even then it was orange, so I was very happy to discover this one. It was particularly what I was looking for as I wanted more of a tinted moisturizer effect but didn't want to add yet another layer of tinted moisturizer on top of my awesome daily moisturizer with SPF. However, I was grossly disappointed, and I do mean it grossly. This junk is GARBAGE. I loved it the first day I wore it. Never again. Coverage is patchy, streaky, nasty and greasy. It's definitely not the same formula as the other shades, because those are pretty good. I'm so disappointed because I really love the color.

I really wanted to love this and I am aggrevated that it didn't work for me. I had received a mini of the original color a few years ago and thought it was an ok match, but sadly it wasn't, too dark and DH pointed it out when it was too late to fix. So when Benefit announced the Lite, I was over the moon. Well, either my skin has gotten drier since then or the formula for the lighter version is different. When I applied this, it made every single flake, every texture issue, and any other imperfection stand up and wave! Plus the effect was actually quite drying to my skin. I tried buffing it out and applying it with a wet sponge. My face still felt tight and looked terrible. I returned it the next day. For the record, my skin is uber dry, neutral in tone and very pale. I exfoliate once a week, so I know it isn't my skin.

Blech, and yet another Benefit product disappoints!

The main problem with this product is that it is extremely greasy when it applies, doesn't apply evenly, and is sheer. So when I put it on I feel like I'm just adding additional grease to my face.

There are not quite enough shades for this product (thought producing more would be a waste of time for such an inferior foundation). The regular one is too dark for me, whereas this one is kabuki white on me unless I blend heavily and also add a pressed powder on top.

I am a red head with oily skin year round and have been looking for the right foundation. I have tried Sephora Make Up Forever Matte Foundation and Dior and still did not like the feel or look at the end of the day. I was introduced to this product by the sales clerk at Sephora who explained my issue might be the liquid foundation and to try this creme foundation instead. I have found that it goes on easier in the morning with a foundation brush and then in the afternoon with the sponge or fingertip. I do get oily during the day so I use my Matte Spray and retouch and I am good as new. I do work out so this foundation comes off on the towel but not heavy like the others I have tried. The lite seems to work for my complexion that has pink undertones and give me light but a finish look. I will say that I like when I wash my face at the end of the day I don't see a huge orange area of makeup that I have had happen with other foundations.

I loved the original Some Kind-a Gorgeous in summers past when I would get dark enough to use it so I was really excited about the Lite version. Somethings different besides the shade though. The original was sheer but nicely evened out my skin while still looking natural. This one... blech. It covers nothing and looks cakey and greasy at the same time. My attempt at topping it with a setting powder resulted in it smearing.
On top of that, the peachy color makes me look ill. I'm pretty yellow, NC15-20/pale olive toned and I thought this would blend since it's so sheer but I was wrong, the shade difference is very obvious on me.

Just got this today at Ulta. I'm NW20. This looks peachy in the pan, but is light enough for me. The original version was too dark. I need to use this for a few days to see how it wears. It's sheer and is not going to cover much, but what I tried at Ulta gave me a smooth evened out look
