Provided I ever run out, I will certainly purchase this again. It's a sheer, cool toned tomato red. It's incredibly cushy on the lips and wears pretty well, too. There's no taste, either! Wonderful product.

Firecracker is nice neutral lip gloss for those who have darker complexions. It is a complimentary orangy red that is great for the warmer weather. My favourite of the new collection is coral reef - hands down but Firecracker is a good second.

Despite the negative feedback that this lipgloss is receiving, I actually quite like it, it gives me that sheer wash of "juicy red" on my lips which is forgiving since I wasn't expecting it to be pigmented to begin with.It lasts generally well on the lips and comparable to YSL and MAC cremesheen glasses, I like it!!

This lipgloss was not what i expected at all! i was at the drugstore and there was no tester for this one, but i bought it anyway thinking it was a really nice opqaue red. turns out its really sheer, i'm not too sure how to describe the shade but the posts below saying its a wash tomato that's prolly it. its not a coral nor red nor orange, but all in between. the texture for this one is non gritty at all although i bought it because of the red i thought it was, turns out this is pretty the way it is too. like a warm pop of color, kinda like a popsicle, but really shiny and smooth. I would think that this works best on neutral warm gold or olive skintones best. if your cooler skip this you will find it too "orangy".

This is not a red red. this is more like a tomato shade. if it was a true red it would have worked for me despite the sheer formula. its nice but not for my neutral skin tone. perhaps someone with yellow or olive skin this would be a wonderful juicy color. but for me this is just too warm.

(EDITED, UPDATE:) im loving this now, although its too warm for my cool skin, when i wear a nude/terracota blush like mac's sincere or gingerly, this is really pretty , combined with gold /bronze eyes. it plumps my lips like no other lipgloss, and it looks like a popsicle, glossy and really juicy. I usually love my l/gs pigmented, but this is an exception.

I picked this up because I want to start finding a good "classic" red, but if I walked into work one day with bright red lips people would think I'd gone nuts. I need to work my way up. On the plus side: 1)Great packaging. No spills or leaky tops, which is a big plus for a gloss. 2) It's so sheer and not sparkly or sticky, it definitely falls into the staple category. On the downside: It's so sheer. I was looking for a stronger color, and this was actually more subtle than the gloss (Guys <3 Betsy) I was wearing before. Please note that this is NOT a fault with the product; it just wasn't the color I was looking for. Overall, it's wonderfully easy to wear every day, but not the color you're looking for if you want a strong lip.

I really liked this lipgloss, I only wish it was a bit stickier. I also wish that some of the really great LE lipglosses Revlon has put out in the past would be regulars on the shelves, especially the sheer, bright colored glosses. This looks scary in the tube, but don't be put off! It's a very wearable, very sheer red/orange. It's not too yellow, and is so shiny and such a lovely "juicy" color. It adds a nice touch of brightness and a pop of color, but isn't opaque and obnoxious.

I purchased this during the infamous CVS beauty clearance sale. I believe I paid under $2, or a bit over $2, definitely less then $3. I read the reviews before I tried it out and I was a tad bit nervous because the reviews weren't as good as I was hoping they'd be. Definitely super impressed! In the tube this looks like an opaque tomato red. But it's definitely super sheer! For me though, it's perfect. I always wanna try bits of red but red lipstick is a bit too dramatic for me, so this being sheer is perfect. I wanna head over to CVS and pick up another cause i'm not sure if this color is being discontinued? I'm assuming it's just over stock, cause I know this was a LE item from the summer. If you haven't checked out a CVS recently do it cause they have a TON of products on sale from 50%-75% off!

(I have: Blonde Hair, Dark Green Eyes, LLL / NC20 )

I usually opt for more blue-toned reds but I have been *in love* with Revlon's forumla for their Super Lustrous Lipglosses and have been going on a spree pokemoning them (gotta catch them all!)

This is a pretty 'forgiving' orangey red. It's a sheer wash of tomato, pigmented slightly enough that you do see some (some) color, but not so pigmented that you're a walking tomato-lips. It's sheer enough that even yellow based skin-toned ladies can pull it off when they need a warmer red.

I did only give it two stars because it could have been a 'little' more pigmented, but the formula as the other shades is fabulous in my opinion... it's slick but not greasy, thick but not gunky. Just enough consistency that you feel pouty.

I got this for about 3 bucks on cvs 75% off deals going on now, and it's good no real flavor or smell to it. (no offense mayballine, they always have a melon smell that I like too) The sine is nice and it's not real sicky, the color is sheer, which you can tell by the bottle. ( I can' t believe people are complaining) Overall it's a great natural look over natural lipstick. I'll be using this lip gloss over the spring.

In the tube, it looks like a pigmented orange-red.

On the lips, it's a sheer tomato. I like doing two layers, and it's still very sheer then.

I guess I was really disappointed with it, because it looked so pigmented. :/

On a natural more subdued day, where I don't want others to call me sickly looking, because I didn't do usual pigmented lips, I'll use this.

Typical Revlon lipgloss formula. Not sticky, not the longest lasting at all.

No shimmers, which I do like.

Unsure on repurchasing, because:
a. I don't think I'll finish this.
b. Wasn't too impressed, since I wished it was pigmented off first glance of what it was in the tube.

When I saw this I instantly needed it.
Its a flaming orange red, at least in the tube :/
I put it on and its only a wash of color...
I like the consistency though, sticky but not obnoncious.
Lasts a long time as well.
I keep seeing coral reef and pink top geting the thumbs up so I think I might go ahead and grab those .

I had high expectations for Firecracker. However, this was a big disappointment. I wanted something that was red and bold. Unfortunately this is waaaaay too sheer and there were no testers to sample before purchasing. It only gives my lips a hint of red (as if I've eaten a cherry popsickle). I think this was a limited edition color, but even if it wasn't, I wouldn't repurchase.

PROS: Not too sticky or heavy. High shine. Feel great on. It's somwhat sheer. Pretty inexpensive for the quality. Elegant packaging for DS. Lasts pretty well. Could it be true that this is now SPF??..........

CONS: Don't expect this to moisturize. Not as long lasting as some (but then you get stickier.) I'm N15 (leaning toward NC), and this was almost too orange on me. I know you can tell by looking at the tube it's an orange or warm red, but I didn't expect quite this much orange in it. I'm not in love with the taste (if it gets in the mouth), but it's not really noticeable anyway.

APPLICATION IDEAS/TIPS: I love to mix this with the 150 (Peach Petal) to lighten it out of orange. It morphs it into a creamy, peachy nude.

OMG, I first tried this product and it lasted on my lips for sooo long! I would totally buy more colors in these because there are such pretty colors I want to buy the lavender color so bad now. Okay for all you people who afraid of skin cancer these lipglosses have spf 15 in them so no more buying lipbalm with spf from the store anymore, plus the glosses are super shiny and moisturize really well. If you are looking for a great drugstore lipgloss with pigmintation, spf, wide color selection, and moisturization go out and buy yourself a revlon super lustrous lipgloss.

mmm of all the summer 10 lipglosses i got from revlon (coral reef and pink pop) this one is my least favorite only b/c it is so sheer compared to the otheres. the texture and everything else is great though. but yes, sheer red/orange :/ lol i wud be more excited if it was an opaque version of that color

I wouldn't have purchased this color if I hadn't seen the reviews first. It's non-sticky, cute packaging, and wears off evenly. I have pigmented pink lips and this makes them look warmer and juicier. It's a great color to wear with fall colors, but doesn't look overly orangey. I still do notice a big color difference, but it's not opaque at all. This is a new favorite.

I hate sticky lip glosses, I'm a big fan of Revlon's glosses as I find them very smooth and non-sticky - and their packaging is really classy. Firecracker is a cheerful orangey-red colour that brightens up my face without being too in-you-face.

Niiiiice! So I passed this up a million times thinking "pretty, but way too orange/tomato-y for me". Then one day I just said, try it, and I did. Big surprise. I am NW20, black/brown hair, brown eyes and rosey lips. I put Firecracker on and it reminded me of a more red Pink Grapefruit from MAC (sans the shimmer though). It is so much more on the coral red side than the orange red side. Which is much, much better for my complexion. It is really cheap and if you can still find it, I would grab it. It is the prettiest little red gloss I have tried. And it isn't too dark like a lot of the other reds I have tried. MMMM, I'm lovin' it!

I love the Revlon Super Lustrous lipglosses and in addition to Firecracker I also have Coral Reef and Pink Pop. Of the three, this one is my least favorite, mostly because the color is a lot more sheer than the other two. Swatched on the hand, Firecracker is a lovely orange-red that has no shimmer, glitter or particles of any sort. It looks great against the NC25 skin on the back of my hands. However, when applied to my lips (which are pigmented-they are rosey-mauve), the color just sort of disappears and does not show up unless I use several layers. I don't like building up several layers of any lipgloss as it just feels too greasy and the lipgloss tends to migrate. I still like this better than most d/s lipglosses because it feels really nice, has good lasting power and the smell, which I don't love, is not offensive. It, like all the other Revlon SL glosses is also very moisturizing. I never need to use lipbalm on days when I use this gloss, and the moisturizing benefits last well after the color has worn off. Just not for me and I won't be rebuying, but I definitely will use the rest of this as a balm or just for a hint of color. I would recommend this, however, if you don't have very pigmented lips because the color will probably show up on your lips.
