I absolutely love this foundation. Love love love.

Pros:
-Cute packaging
-Pump dispenser
-Great colour match for my skin (really brightens my complexion)
-Feels wonderful
-Doesn't break out my skin at all (even after sleeping in it)

Cons
-Expensive. Definitely a splurge.
-Not quite the advertised full coverage

First off, I love the colour of this foundation (Creme). It makes my skin look absolutely radiant and glowing; it has just the right touch of warmth to it. Being very pale, most porcelain foundations match my skin tone but leave me looks just a tad pallid. This foundation gives me this beautiful warm glow. I can't say enough how much I absolutely love the colour.

Second, it feels really luxurious to put on like a very thick emollient lotion. It takes one pump to cover my face. I apply jojoba oil as a moisturizer underneath so the foundation blends in much better than if one applied it to dry skin. I suggest anyone having trouble blending to try out a face oil underneath. Then, it dries fairly quickly to a velvety powder finish. It's not exactly matte; satin as it's advertised is probably the best descriptor. Coverage isn't quite full either; more medium coverage but maybe able to build for more coverage. I haven't tried yet as my face it pretty clear at the moment. It is really good for undereye circles though; the colour is just the precise amount of peachy to counteract the blue under my eyes. Coverage doesn't quite make it a full 10 hour day though; it's still there but your blemishes are probably going to show through a bit. I can't say for sure though because I do touch my face a lot.

Overall, I couldn't ask for more. I love this foundation and it's really worth the price given the performance and the very high-quality ingredients (especially what is not in it). Also, they do only have 6 colours so it might be hard to get the perfect colour match but if you order from their website they have a good return/exchange policy.

Edit. 05/2013
After having moved to Raleigh, a bit more southern and way down in elevation than my Virginia home....I can't wear this foundation through the heavy humidity. I love this foundation but after ten minutes of putting it on my skin just feels heavy and oily from the humidity here. I've always had dry skin but since moving I've definitely developed an oily T-zone. Thinking about ordering the 100% pure powder foundation as it has rice starch in it.

Age: 19-24   Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium   Hair: Blond, Straight, Medium   Eyes: Brown

I'm a little torn on this product. I got it with high hopes for my very, very, acne prone skin. Everything seems to break it out & I have trouble wearing any kind of makeup because it usually results in painful cystic zits, even while wearing benzoyl peroxide underneath. I was clear for about 2 years using almay TLC makeup, but just recently it started breaking me out very badly. I figured maybe my skin was sensitive to synthetics, so I wanted to try a makeup free of synthetic materials.

So, firstly, this makeup feels wonderful on my skin. I definitely chose the wrong color, so that has a lot to do with my ceasing of using it till the summer. It's way too expensive to just blow more money on the right color. I got peach bisque and it is way too dark - it looks like peanut butter.

You have to be pretty accurate with this foundation in terms of color because it's a bit difficult to blend and it does transfer pretty easily, so if a little bit comes off, you will notice. Also, if you build with it, it gets darker - so make SURE your color is correct. I wish they sold it in stores so I could have tried it out first. However, the finish is smooth and covers very well... it is almost powdery when it dries.

*A tip for application, because it is difficult to blend - mix it with a bit of (cool) water or dampen your face first, and try to cover as much of your face as you can at once. Blending small parts of my face didn't work well, it just made me look patchy.

Now, in terms of whether or not it causes breakouts - I think it still does with me. I will try it again in the summer when it matches my skin better, because I want to give it a fair try. But from what I noticed, it seemed to be causing some cysts. I must admit that it improved some of the dry blemishes that were on my face - it is not drying at all! I think the ingredients, overall, are pretty good for your skin and I wouldn't be surprised if it improved skin texture. It's too bad that there is probably a natural ingredient in it that is comedogenic.

The packaging is rather nice, I like that it isn't glass, because it makes it easier to throw in a purse. The pump, though, does dispense a crapload of product, and you really don't need a whole lot.

VERDICT:
I wish it were a little less heavy and easier to blend, but for 100% organic, it does the job. It's very pricey, and not sold in stores, but has a nice feel on the skin. I think that it still causes me to break out, unfortunately, but otherwise is somewhat moisturizing. It transfers and wears off quickly, but does not settle into lines and has a nice finish.

...Whoa. I didn't expect much out of this foundation, but it blew me away. I'm NC25 and I got this fdtn in Peach Bisque, which is a pretty good match. (Be careful, there's only about 6 colors in this line!) I'm also oily-skinned and somewhat acne prone, but this foundation does a pretty good job of keeping oilies at bay during the day (I barely have to touch up, if at all) and also doesn't seem to break me out.

I don't think this foundation has any silicone in it, so it applies like a medium-thickness lotion. I find it hard to apply with a brush so I just smudge around with my hand/fingers. Three pumps is enough to cover my whole face, so I think one full-sized bottle will last me quite a while.

It really does dry to a satin finish (not entirely matte, but "soft"-looking), and the coverage is PERFECT for me. It's not obvious at all (my friends had no idea I had foundation on when I showed htem) and yet it's opaque enough that you can't see my acne scars or brown spots. Overall, it makes my skin look naturally perfect. I am impressed!

Also, I'm not complaining about the natural ingredients, either. Be warned, this foundation is EXPENSIVE. I got mine for $15 off Hautelook so it's probably best to wait for a sale than to buy it at full-price.

It does what it promises! It has good coverage and I love the color of white peach for my skin. Also, I'm so glad I found a foundation that is not full of chemicals that was causing my skin to dry out. It is much better than the concealer of the same brand. It dries quickly, so if you are looking to blend after it may cake up if you wait. I would recommend using the primer of the same line for best results.

I bought this foundation sold on its 100% pure ingredient list. I wanted so badly to love something that was supposed to be good for my skin - at least, relatively compared to the majority of ingredients in other foundations. I read some reviews about the foundation color and that was my biggest concern - that the color wouldnt match. I bought the lightest shade, the match was perfect.

HOWEVER, this is the worst foundation that I have used. It is incredibly cakey, hard to blend, and does not last very long. I have previously used Dior (all of their foundations), Lancome, Makeup Forever, and Bare Minerals. They are all 100 times better in my book that this foundation. I would rather have ingredients that arent 100% organic and whatnot for a product that will actually look good. I dont think this does justice in describing the horrible experience that I have had with the 100% foundation and would never buy it again.

The lightest shade is a little bit too dark and yellow for me, but much better than the tinted moisturizer.
The most important thing is: this does not break me out!
I have sensitive skin, and most (all?) conventional face creams leave my skin with little bumps. That goes for foundations too.
My skin is dry, this dries matte, no powder needed, until mid day, a bit on the nose. Stays on ok, not like silicone long wear foundations, but then again, no bumps.
Covers well, but takes a little extra effort to get even on drier parts.
I thought I could thin it out with the pomegranate spf moisturizer, but that made the texture almost unspreadable.
Wish it came in a slightly lighter and colder shade, but will repurchase, as it is the best i've found that doesn't break me out.
Love the concept of non harmful products!

Update 2011-12-29
I have nowwoejed selling makeup for 3 montgs, trying several high and low end brands, and my appreciation of this foundation continues to grow. It looks the most natural of all on my 42 year old skin, doesn't need powder, stays the same colour, stays on for 12-hour work days. And covers enuogh that I have no need for a concealer under my eyes.
It took some time to perfect application, it dries fast, so swift fingers directly on the skin in segments work. It is buildable on after drying.
And it still doesn't break me out!

I bought this foundation after reading the glowing reviews here, and absolutely love it. Fortunately I selected the right color (Peach Bisque) and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the color matched; how it comes out matte, and also how much coverage it provides (especially for an organic product). The only downside is that it does not last long - 4 to 5 hours at most with a good primer (I use Korres Vitamin E primer, and 100% Pure argan oil moisturizer). This is my favorite foundation so far.

I loved the idea of this product more than the actual experience. I purchased the lightest shade based off of the model photos and it was a good three shades darker than her skin. (I'm NC10/NW5) I could hide that it was a bit too dark by bringing it down my neck and using a super light powder, but in the end it was not worth the trouble. It did wear off by the end of the day, even with powder, and looked very obvious. Never broke me out or otherwise adversely affected my skin, but once again, I just couldn't justify keeping on using it when it was making me look so weird. I wanted to love this, but just couldn't.

Incredible! Never thought I'd find something like this. I'd like to thank all the reviewers here for giving an honest review.
After trying this out I was amazed at how comfortable it was on, and people kept telling me how nice my skin looked (even though I have terrible blemished skin).
Full coverage and matte finish, completely smooth to the touch. No sticky residue at all and it's very long lasting. I wore this all day without a problem, no color fade or anything.
The ingredients are very healthy for your skin so I don't mind using this everyday.
Most importantly for me, this did not break me out after everyday use, it actually made my skin smoother and clearer.
Very very satisfied with this product and definitely my HG foundation

EDIT: still love the idea of this product, but for the sake of color (too dark) and texture (much too dry), i had to drop a lippie. i'm going through my stash of this by mixing with the medium color of mac's studio tint. ah well!

my first review! i love this foundation, but i definitely needed to figure out how to use it to best suit my skin. i'm nc42, and use this foundation in toffee. by itself, it's super-matte and cakey on my skin, although i never noticed any oxidation when i wore it alone. i wear it now super-super sheered out with aubrey organics rosa mosqueta night creme...i know that sounds a little crazy but i use this moisturizer day and night, and it sheers out the foundation to a perfect medium dewy coverage. my diy TM matches my skin tone perfectly, and i get compliments all the time on my natural-looking makeup! i apply the foundation+moisturizer with my fingertips, blend out a bit with the ecotools bronzer brush, and i'm good to go.

took off one lippie since i have to wear this sheered out with moisturizer, but it's a small price to pay for the huge benefit of wearing healthy, natural makeup and getting great results out of the deal!

This foundation does have a strong coverage, which I love, but it has some MAJOR draw backs! First, it is hard to blend, and shows up pink on my skin. It definitely gave me that middle school just started wearing makeup look. Second, it made me break out like CRAZZZZZY! I was so excited about this foundation at first, but ended up sadly disappointed. And the search for HG foundation continues.....

This product dries very quickly so you have to do one section of your face at a time or it will be very difficult to blend. I use a stippling brush with this product because it very easily looks cakey. I bought the lightest color, creme, but when I but a powder over to set it the color changes. It looks darker and slightly orange =/ the coverage isn't the greatest. I wont be repurchasing.

For those that have warm complexions this stuff is fantastic. I have a hard time finding foundations that actually match my yellow tone skin, but this is near perfect and lasts longer than NARS Punjab. I also like that is is natural, less chemicals on my skin. The texture is great- almost matte with strong coverage, but not cakey at all. I use the peach bisque shade and it is great. It is not longer wearing, even with powder, lasting for about 4-5 hours.

LOVE IT! This is my new HG foundation. I have been desperately searching for a foundation that does not contain silicone as this makes me break out. I love that it has all natural ingredients and does not use animal testing. This did make my skin feel a little dry when I first started to use it. My skin must have adjusted to it and now it just feels soft and smooth. My only complaint is that it will rub off throughout the day if you do not use powder with it. Overall, it is a fantastic product.

It's all natural which I love. Went on nice and wasn't greasy or shiny. A bonus is that it has SPF in it. I'm very happy to have found something that was natural AND worked well. I'm skeptical of all natural sometimes, but this one works!!

I have been meaning to write this review for a very long time. I have been using this foundation for a little less than a year. Let me preface this by saying that I believe I have tried every type of foundation under the sun. I had acne when I was younger up until my early 20's. I am still prone to breakouts, especially using the wrong foundation and products. I have used drug store brand foundations (Maybelline, Revlon, etc) and top of the line foundations (Lancome, Estee Lauder, Yves Saint Laurant, etc). I have also tried different mineral make up such as Every Day Minerals, Bare Escentuals, Pure Luxe, etc.

Wow, I've wasted a lot of money! This foundation covers most of my scars, goes on silky and smooth and looks natural. It dries mostly matte, but does not dry my skin. Since I have combination skin I have this problem with matte foundations. It has not caused me to breakout at all. I have actually received compliments on my skin while using this foundation.

The only negative comments I would have would be that it is hard to get the foundation out when you are getting low. You do have the option to open the top and pour it out. I do love the pump style bottle though. Also, it does last pretty long but it will have a little transfer as your oils build up throughout the day. I expect that anyway from any foundation, but it does stay fairly matte and natural looking. I have never used a foundation that did not transfer. If they say they don't transfer at all they are lying.

One more thing, the color selection is not great, but I have learned to mix two different shades. When I am tan I mix golden peach and peach bisque. When I am not so tan I mix white peach and peach bisque. Works great!

By the way, I am a teacher so I do have long days so this is my honest review from wearing this every day for almost a year.

PS- I love it and as long as it is being made I will never try another foundation again!

I had been searching forever to find an affordable natural foundation that wasn't in powder form. I waited a whole month for white peach to come back in stock! The first thing I notice after applying it is that it cakes on dry flaky skin. I have horribly dry skin in the winter and no moisturizer or scrub has been able to take care of it so I do not blame the foundation. The color is perfect and provides medium coverage. I first tried to apply it with a sponge but that was inefficient since the foundation would dry quickly on the sponge, I would definitely repurchase again!
