Second BB cream I've tried, aside from Missha's Perfect Cover in #13. I ordered them both as they seemed to be the two lightest shades I could find. I have very pale skin (lighter than NC 15) and was really hoping that this would be my go-to, but it seems that on my very neutral pale complexion (i.e. no pink undertones! Just pale as paper) it comes out looking strangely darker than my neck/body with almost a pink/grey putty-colored hue. It's a shame because I love the scent and the coverage, which is fuller than Missha's and allows me to wear less concealer. Unfortunately, Jasmine Water is very moisturizing and can make someone whose skin already "glows" look like their skin is oily even after they've just washed it. What's worse is that my skin DOES eventually get very oily, so it requires touching up with a little powder often. However, my mom who has dry skin tried this and loved it, and it didn't make her look oily at all. Odd.
I'm keeping this as a backup, because despite my harsh description, it doesn't look bad-- just a tiny bit off.

i was doing my research for a good bb cream before and this based on my research is the best.. so i ordered online since its not available in my country but it took 7 weeks and still i havent got my item.. i was able to try other bb creams while i wait for my order before they figure out to send me samples.. im so excited to try their product..ive tried it and unfortunately im disappointed.. the first day ive used it i had a skin breakout.. good coverage but feels heavy on skin... and it makes my skin look oily... another problem is that its too light for my skin.. even though ive waited for 5-10 mins for the cream oxidize to match my skin tone still its too light.. i believe this will work for fair skin toned people but not good on asian skin...

I've been using this bb cream for about two years, and am coming to the end of my tube, and therefore having to make the decision of whether to purchase this again or not. Sadly, I don't think I will be buying this again. What I love about this bb cream is the color- it is very pale, with pink undertones, which is almost my exact match. It also gives a beautiful light to medium coverage, evening out my skin tone and giving a lovely dewy finish. It has never broken me out and feels quite comfortable to wear, and doesn't fade for a good part of the day. And of course, it has a nice subtle smell of jasmine. However the texture of this bb cream is extremely thick, and therefore it is very difficult to apply, and often I end up with streaks, or caking, or the bb cream settling into fine lines and clinging to dry patches. Primer makes no difference. It also takes a long while to set, so even if I manage to apply it nicely, it will still cake if I try apply anything over the top, therefore making it fairly bad as a makeup base (and not so nice for mornings when I am in a rush and don't have time). I love the overall finish with this bb cream, but it too often doesn't end up like that. This bb cream isn't the cheapest out there either. Overall, I really want to love this bb cream, but its thick, unworkable texture just annoys me too much.

My current favorite BB cream. I was so happy to find a BB cream that didn't have a yellow or grey undertone. Even though I have light skin with neutral undertones, I actually find this beige-pinkish color to fit me pretty well. Also, it blends beautifully with the skin and gives you a dewy, smooth, perfect look! Plus, it doesn't break me out.
My only complain is that I would like a higher SPF.

This is my first BB cream. I chose it to match my pale skin, but it is even paler than my NC 20 skin. It blends well and does appear as if I am wearing very little makeup. I use three rice grain size blobs and spread them quickly, but it very rapidly becomes hard to spread with the tiny amount.
My freckles still show through, but overall my skins looks even. My wrinkles become emphasized if I put too much on. I don't mind the slightly grey colour to it because it eventually blends in to look fairly natural.
It does not feel heavy or greasy and most importantly, it does not make my skin feel itchy or feel made up, as is the case with my traditional liquid foundations from MAC. It feels as if I am wearing nothing. It has not caused me to break out (I am prone to acne) and I have not used any special methods to cleanse out of my ordinary facial wash.
I love the smell of jasmine and I can smell it for a short while after application. I would definitely buy this again.

I really wanted the BRTC Aqua Rush but it was OOS. So left deciding between this and the caviar and finally purchased this due to the lighter shade. I am NC20/25 for ref and I must say this is slightly too light for my skin but I like it that way. For those who like their bb and fndt to match exactly then this would be too light. Would prefer a pump. Lovely scent, low-medium coverage, dewy finish but leaves my skin feeling matter and not greasy unlike my other skin 79 one. After 10 hours of travelling, hot, humid polluted weather, I found that it didnt feel *yucky, greasy, dirty* (I don't use any facial blotters/tissue/powder touch-ups troughout the day) I have been using this 4 days straight, so far no breakouts, don't see any significant clogging. I am liking this for now and this is a great intro to the BRTC line. Am eager to try their other bb's
Edit 5/5/12 : After purchasing both the gold caviar and aqua rush, jasmine and caviar are my equal faves however nether are perfect. Jasmine has great scent, great blendability, looks dewy and not oily. However, shade is slightly too light and the SPF is not high enough at 28++. Caviar is darker tint, heavier and oillier but richer for dry skins and higher SPF 50+++ . I was disappointed initially that the aqua rush was out of stock but I managed to order it online for the same price but a bigger size! So that was good. Overall Jasmine is a nice in between of caviar and aqua rush. (Though aqua rush is targetted for dry skin, the Jasmine one is MUCH MUCH better. Aqua actually leaves me more matte, better for oily skins IMO)

I actually really liked the consistency and finish of this BB cream, even more so than my chosen Missha M Perfect, but the colour was way off for my pale skin. At first it seemed fine (it's quite a light shade) but after applying it, it would turn a bizarre shade of pink/grey that was much darker than when I first applied it. I didn't mind the jasmine scent which is quite strong, like jasmine tea.
PROS:
Smooth easily blendable liquid
Dewy finish
Good tube - would be able to use all the product
CONS:
Changes colour on skin!

At first, I could not stand the dewiness of the product even with a loose powder on top. Finally I started mixing it with a primer (pore putty in the beige bottle) and wow it is less dewy and stays on all day. It does look pale in morning when I apply but at the end of day my face looks natural without much greasiness. I do not find this particular BB cream irritating. The smell goes away after a while but it is not obnoxious. Will I repurchase? Most definitely. I would like to try other BB creams from brtc ... but for now this one fits the bill. Pretty big bottle but if you are like me and use it daily, this stuff can be used within 6 months to a year. A little goes a long way. I do have to note that no matter what ppl say, this is still a primer/tinted moisturizer... this does not mean you can replace your regular moisturizer. But still it does have built in sunscreen and slight coverage.

I'm extremely disappointed with this product. When I apply the product it looks great and it makes my skin look healthy, but after a few hours my skin starts to flake and gets really dry when this product is supposed to be for people with dry skin. It has medium coverage and is a bit too pink for me (I'm NW15). I paid 28 dollars for it. I have to say, it's good value for money if the product works for you, because it's a large tube compared to other BB creams I've tried.

I like it - I come from Australia and am the only one I know my age who has not had some kind of skin cancer cut out. (Cover up, people) I purchased this and the Caviar Gold on the internet - pretty damn cheap. I assumed the Caviar would suit my skin tone better, but it doesn't. This somehow adapts - even though when you start smearing, it's a bit scary pale. It's non-irritating (big plus for me), covers enough - I don't need that much. (I now live in Europe, so not in hot, sticky, humid environment anymore).
I find that it accentuates pores, flakies and wrinklies after a couple of hours and feels like it's drying on top of my skin like a mask. I have had to take a couple of lippies off.

There are way too many options for bb creams LOL And I have tried quite a few. So,,,it's time for the pros and cons.
Pros:
+ decent coverage for blemishes and redness
+ goes on light and smoothly
+ does not irritate my fragile face :)
+ smells like jasmine tea, yum!
+ lasts a long day
+ It matches with my skin tone (NC15-NW15, pink-undertone) very well
+ does not oxidize as much as other bb creams
Cons:
- makes my skin flaky (which is very weird because it's supposed to be good for dry skin; What I found more weird is that compare to BRTC blemish recover bb cream, it's drier @_@ the blemish recover bb actually is quite moiturizing for me. FYI I have dry, irritated, sensitive winter skin.)
Because of the con, I will not purchase this product again since there are so many good ones out there. It is such a shame because I really love the smell :'( and pretty much everything about it except it made my skin flaky every time i tried it :(
I will keep trying this one tho, especially when my skin is not as dry.

I have pale, slightly yellow-toned skin, green eyes and red hair, and I was eagerly looking for a BB cream that would even and brighten my skin tone, didn't oxidise on me, and would give me a slightly more polished look on my lazy makeup days. Most of my days come under this category because I'm the mother of a 3-year old!
In general, I love this BB cream and feel it's well worth the price paid. BRTC products aren't the cheapest on the market, but you certainly get what you pay for.
The tone of the cream is very slightly pink, but rather than looking "off" on me, I find that it brightens my skin without looking too obvious. The finish is slightly dewy - this is a BB cream aimed at drier skin types, so this suits me just fine. It's one of the paler offerings on the market and I think it's very well-suited to those of Celtic ancestry such as myself.
My skin is dry and sensitive, but also has a tendency to break out - the worst of all worlds! BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream hasn't caused me any problems - my skin finds it very gentle and moisturising (though I wear a good day cream underneath it) and I've experienced no problems with breakouts either.
Coverage is fairly good, in that although it's initially quite light, it's very blendable and buildable to medium coverage without looking cakey or making fine lines more obvious.
The texture is creamy and medium-thick, and the light, floral scent , is beautifuI, IMHO. I love jasmine, but if you dislike the smell of it intensely, this might be a little much for you.
I've dropped one lippie in the overall rating for the fact that this doesn't have great staying power on my skin. However, I've heard others say that they find it's very long-lasting, so this could simply be an issue personal to me.
In general, this is a wonderful BB cream for those with fair, drier skin types.

I have been all about trying bb creams this past year, and this was the only full-sized tube I wound up purchasing, purely because I could not pass up the chance to buy a bb cream that smelled like the green jasmine tea I drink by the liter every day. Impulse aside, after using it most of the fall, I like it quite a bit, although it is sadly not holy grail material.
It smells indeed like jasmine flowers when you apply it, but it dissipates pretty much immediately. The cream is very pale and I was really surprised that it matched my skin. The shade is pretty neutral at first glance, but upon closer inspection it is slightly pinkish. The finish is matte, and coverage is almost unreal, it makes every pore on your face do a disappearing act with very little product. Oil control is really good also.
The only cons for me is that it does not blend in as smoothly as say, the skin79 bb creams do. It takes a bit more effort to apply it, and sometimes I add a drop of jojoba oil or moisturizer to help it along. I also do not find it all that moisturizing either, and on the cold winter days it has looked a touch dry on my skin, so additional moisture was a must for those occasions. It did take me a while to warm up to this bb cream, but I do like it now after giving it quite a lengthy trial period. Purchased on sasa.com for under $20, so the price was right as well.

From my personal experience, this is quite a lovely BB cream that works well on my dry skin. Believe it or not, it's my "summer" shade--I am very, very pale so this works well when I have a bit of a tan. This BB cream is a bit thicker with more coverage than the other BB cream I use frequently (Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream in No. 13--yes, 13. It's the only one light enough) with less of a perfumed scent, which I much prefer over the Missha M due to skin sensitivity. I also like the fact that it has a pink undertone as opposed to a greyish one like in many BB creams--I am already quite ghostly-looking and I don't need to add any more vampire-skin factor to my complexion. It feels quite moisturizing--at least for me--and the only reason I knocked it down a rating is because the packaging is kind of hard to work with once you get down to the bottom, and the staying power isn't as strong as I'd like it to be. A bit of powder can help this, though. Overall, I like it a lot and will definitely repurchase come summertime.

this is my favorite winter BB cream. i am Caucasian, so finding a bb cream that it not too yellow under-toned is quite difficult. this one is pale to begin with and has more of a pink undertone which also matches me well. The consistency is lighter, you do have to shake the bottle to make sure the bb cream is smooth coming out and not too liquid-y. but because the texture of the bb cream is so light, the coverage is light as well, so if you skin has a lot of problems, this may not be the bb cream for you. but for me with mild redness and blemishes, this BB cream it smells amazing and goes on nicely leaving me with a beautiful dewey complexion.
also the whitening effect it significant, which i don't mind in the winter to help even out my skin tone.
this bb cream is great for drier skin, again why i like it in the winter when my skin is drier.
the only problem is that the color is quite pale, and even me who is naturally ghostly, i can't use this bb cream in the summer when i am slightly darker.
but overall this is a HG bb cream for me in the winter when i want light easy coverage, that works with my dry skin, and makes my skin look closer to flawless.

Very oily feel, even when i just applied it on and even hours after and after i have applied loose powder on top of it, cause breakout for me and the scent is nothing to shout about, i didn't get to finish it and threw it out. Luckily i've got this during sale time but it still isn't cheap, which BB cream is anyway and it got messier with the cover on the tube with daily usage. Won't ever repurchase.

A nice light BB cream. Didn't appreciate the scent though cuz the jasmine smells rather fake. This BB cream appears very light but blends out to match my NC20 skin tone rather well. This gives light coverage and it doesn't turn me into an oily mess, which I appreciate. But it's really just an average performer. It doesn't make my skin look as good compared to skin79 VIP gold label. A bit of a let down after reading all the hype about this BB cream.

I have combination skin. T-zone oily/cheeks dry. My cheeks have a little bit of diminishing acne scars and I have fair skin with pink undertones.
After I applied a thin layer over my nose and cheeks I could see quickly this was a bad idea. My nose got like weird dry peeling stuff? I don't even know. My cheeks with this on got more dry and it made me look like I had caked on poor quality powder. A friend noticed it too very easily. I tried another layer, since I thought this product had some moisturizing properties and I wanted to build up the coverage. Luckily building up the coverage didn't build up the cakeyness, but it didn't make it disappear either. My pores look slightly shiny and enlarged with this on and the dryness is pretty bad. I will have to try this again with a moisturizer and primer underneath I think.
Coverage is sheer-medium. I could still see some blemishes, but the dryness was the biggest reason why. The dryness enhanced the appearance of my blemishes.
Oil control: Not sure. It made me super shiny. I felt it made me oily rather than dewy, which is odd since it made my skin really dry? Heh.
Smell: Pleasant.
Cost: Too much.

I always dream a dewey&glowing face and many good review about dewey finish that created by this BB cream
but it is one of the most expensive BB cream in store..
So I just bought the sample for give it a shoot.
First of all,,This BB cream is hard to blend,,you have to blend it super fast to your face
Second, jasmine water only come with one shade, very pale in my olive skin (I'm NC 37)..But after few minutes, this BB cream set up&blend nicely to my face.
.I think it's brilliant cream for a moment. But after 2 hours,my usual dry area became so oily absolutely not dewey finish..
my face just melted when i workin on outdoor field...I look like didn't take a bath before..IT WAS A DISASTER!! I have to wash my face because i will met my date and I dont want to met him like a bump who didn't take a bath for couple days
Would I purchasse this in a full bottle? Hell No!!

This is my first BB cream and I love it.
It might look thick but don't be put off by it as a little goes a long way and all you need is less than a tiny pea size dollop. It is highly blendable and it matches my NC30 skin very well. It is not cakey, very natural looking and covers old blemish discolourations well. Just with a light dusting of mineral powder on the top, my make up lasts the whole day without any need of retouching.
I do not use it as a skincare but a light foundation. However, on days where my skin is problematic or very oily (I have unpredictable skin!), I will switch to BRTC Blemish Recover as a precaution to avoid any potential flare ups. Though I have used it even when I have blemishes, my skin seems to stay fine.
I have yet to see the skin benefits that this product claims - i.e. wrinkle repair and whitening. But this BB cream doesn't break me out (unlike some supposedly non acnegenic foundations) or clogged my pores. Though it might be a little more expensive than most BB cream but I think it is well worth it. Definitely will re-purchase it!
