This product is great for reducing oil and will leave your skin feeling fresh and clean. As someone with sensitive skin and prone to breakouts, I did not find this product too harsh for my skin At first this product may burn/sting a bit, but over time you get used to it. This product is also great for removing any remaining cleanser, makeup, dirt etc. from the skin.

For me, this product has been a lifesaver. I have extremely oily skin. When I use this along with the Tea Tree Oil Cleanser, my oiliness is brought under control without my skin becoming dry and patchy, which often happens with oil control products. Like some other reviewers have noted, you have to shake the bottle before using it to get the maximum benefits from it.

I do not have a lot of history with toners ( other then the ProActiv toner included in the three step program - which i stopped using over 4 years ago ) but I like what this does for my skin. A lot of people are using it on oily skin, but it doesn't seem to bother my combo/dry skin either. My breakouts happen mainly around the chin area and since I started using this toner, the frequency and severity have lessened. Mind you, i do not have severe acne. But I believe I will repurchase this once it runs out.

If you're not shaking it up each time to mix the product, then you probably won't get the benefits. The point of a toner is to remove excess oil and makeup that your cleanser misses. This works for me, and I often use it to refresh my skin during the day when I'm not wearing makeup. I have the large set of all the Tea Tree products, and this would be missed if it wasn't part of that set. No toners shrink enlarged pores, and no toner on the market will do more than what I mentioned. It removes dirt, oil, makeup, keeps skin clear, and refreshes skin with the added benefits of the ingredients. I've used this the most and my skin has had no breakouts.

This is a very pointless product (along with the majority of toners). With everyone always raving about what tea tree can do for spots, i was steered to the tea tree range in the body shop. Its a toner, it didn't improve my skin or make it worse but I'm not one to apply a product that isn't bringing anything to the table. Around £7 ?

I don't like this toner :( This retails for SGD$22.90 for a 250ml bottle. As stated on the website, 'Features a new ‘shake to activate’ refreshing formula to effectively tone the skin, remove traces of impurities while leaving skin looking matte and without drying out your skin.' I like the idea of tea tree products with the general consensus that it is intended for oily, blemished skin, helping to control oil production and clear blemishes. This is a clear greenish liquid, with mattifying powder at the bottom. The product needs to be shaken and poured out quickly just before usage, as the toner has the consistency of water and the powder particles settle down quickly again. I was excited to try this product. I applied this with a cotton pad, and gently tapped on my skin to help with absorption. However, the stinging sensation was quite strong, and remained for some time even after the toner had been absorbed. My skin also turned red momentarily which was not a good sign. Upon looking at the ingredients, I realized that it was probably due to denatured alcohol being the second ingredient on the list, coupled with tea tree oil. Tea tree oil generally helps with blemishes, but it may be a double-edged sword as Paula Begoun stated that the concentration should be higher than 5% for it to be effective, but the higher the concentration, the higher probability that it will cause skin irritation. I tried this again and there was the same stinging sensation, which was reminiscent of my teenage years when I treated my skin to alcohol-based toners with an inkling of hope that it will solve my acne. However, now I learnt never to treat my delicate skin harshly again. I am not really sure how effective is the corn starch for mattifying purposes as I always follow up with a moisturizer after use. I do like the refreshing tea tree scent of this product though, which was not strong and goes away after application. This was packaged in a typical TBS bottle which are generally durable and leak-proof. I will only recommend this product to anybody with severe acne, using this once a day. I had already finished my sample of this toner, and will not be repurchasing this product :)

I really like this toner for keeping my oil and acne at bay and my face matte. But like many others have mentioned - I don't see my skin clearing up like I wish it would. It definitely works well at removing the makeup and dead skin cells that my cleanser leaves behind. I'm almost half way through the bottle - I'm on the fence about repurchasing since it is rather pricey and I want to try something else.

I got this in a little face set at the body shop and this works so well for oil control. It has a light tea tree fragrance and does not sting. It claims to have alcohol, which many people have said isn't good for skin, so still on a hunt for a good toner, but this is def a good one.

I didn't really find this did anything. It helped keep my acne/oily skin under control, but didn't improve it. I gave it to my roommate, who likes this line. I will not be purchasing any tea tree oil products again (except for the concealer, which I like), as I just do not find them helpful for acne-prone skin. I think they are helpful if you get bacteria-related acne, but not acne that is related to hormones or oil-production.

This is an ok toner, although I don't really like/use toner in general. Sometimes its refreshing, sometimes it can sting. I use the face wash without any problems and its the only thing that keeps my acne under control. I tried the toner to see if it would complement the wash but it doesn't really do much for me. I won't bother buying it again, but I'm glad I tried it anyway.

As a girl with combination/oily skin and a few pimples here and there, I thought this "skin clearing" toner would be a perfect match.

The Body Shop Tea Tree toner burns! It burns the area around my nose as well as an area on my cheeks. I know that some people say the stinging means it's 'working', but I've had to only apply this toner to certain areas of my skin and stay away from other drier areas because this stuff definitely worsens dry spots. Nevertheless, this toner does work in making sure there are no oils or grime left on the face. In terms of the "clearing," aspect, I think this product might contain too little tea tree oil to make a difference. I've never used straight up tea tree oil before so I can't say if tea tree oil works for me, but I do know that this product didn't. Even after shaking the bottle to mix the product I feel like I'm just getting some alcohol laced green water with preservatives (not that I have anything against preservatives...or alcohol for that matter.)

Yes, it did help to ward off my pimples, BUT, since it contains a very high level of alcohol, I stopped using it as it dried out my face and left it red and feeling really dry and tight. So now, I use it only on my back, which helps ward off the pimples there a little. Probably will not purchase again, as I find the price too expensive for a back-toner

This toner has honestly been some sort of god-sent. I have very oil skin, get the odd pimple and have lots of blackheads on my nose. Prior to using this product my acne scars were fairly pronounced and my skin tone was uneven. After 1 month of using the toner 2x a day, I saw an absolutely dramatic change in my skin tone. While it hasn't helped much with the blackheads on my nose it has made my skin 75% less oily than it was and has given my face a healthy glow. Before using this product, I never left the housewithout foundation and now I rarely wear it! Just a lil cover-up and a dash of bronzer and my skin absolutely radiates. Since I saw such fantastic results with the toner, I've started using the cleanser, cleansing clothes, scrub and cover-up makeup stick. All fantastic and truly work for a girl with oily skin! I can't even begin to describe how much I am in love with the tea tree oil line.

First of all I have grown so fond of this smell! It's so refreshing and clean. It is quite gentle for my sensitive skin and gets rid of leftover makeup or dead skin cells my cleanser missed. This product does control oil for a bit but I havent really seen a difference with my acne. It works well in my regimen. A go-to toner if i experienced a irritating product. I may try out different toners when I'm done with this bottle but if all else fail, I will come crawling back.

I can’t say I love this toner since I’m really not a toner person. I keep reminding myself to use it twice a day even during the busiest days. The teatree scent is very strong, but I’m getting quite used to it. This bottle lasted me a good five to six months, so definitely not expensive. Living in a humid environment, I like the feeling of dry to touch cheeks and forehead which this toner is able to provide me (I detest those so called moisturizing toners; it gets really sticky and oily once putted on.) One more thing, this toner definitely reduces the whiteheads on my cheeks =). Sorry, this review is all over the place.
