This cream is OK, but like others the effectiveness wore off quick. I give it a three because it moisturized, it's not too greasy, and I did see some improvement in redness. It's just not good enough. Probably not a rebuy product.

I bought this cream for it's skin renewal/cell turnover promises more than as a moisturizer. I did think it a bit expensive for the amount you get for a drugstore brand. It did do - for me - what was promised. I had used a tanning bed for a few months this summer and basically got freckles and blotchy dry skin for my efforts. This evened out my skin tone, helped fade freckles a bit by turning skin over faster and left skin soft. I use it at night and I only need a very light cream or lotion during the summer months. I used this on my face and neck and noticed a very big difference from the rest of my body. The tan on my face/neck is nearly gone and I'm almost back to my very fair skin in those areas. So I know this cream works as a 'renewal' product.
The cream seemed to absorb fairly quickly and my skin is always very soft in the morning. The fine lines around my eyes and mouth are softened and less noticeable. It has not broken me out so far. I do not wear foundation, just powder, so how it works with one is a none issue for me should I use this for a day cream.
I would buy again but only on sale. This may not work the best for me once it's cold enough for snow to fly. By then what I bought the cream for should have been achieved anyway.
It does seem to be going fast and it does have a stronger scent. I'm not overly keen on the open jar packaging. I only apply with freshly washed hands and the jar being fairly small I hope to have no product contamination problems before it's all used. The plus side being you can see exactly how much is left.
If I had the power to improve this product I'd; change the packaging, lighten the scent, and up the content to at least 2 fluid ounces for the price.

If you have dry skin, this is not the lotion you want to use. I have very sensitive skin during season changes, and suffer from extremely dry skin on my nose, and chin.

I bought this lotion twice. The first jar I had, I seemed to like, but when I went to buy the second jar, and started using it, I feel like the effectiveness just wore off. Huge waste of money as they charge almost $11 for this cream that does NOTHING.

It's so soupy and thin and it didn't matter how many times I applied this lotion. I used it every AM and PM, used it under my make up, and when I applied the liquid foundation there were flakes and peeling skin everywhere!!!

Terrible, terrible, terrible. It does not hydrate or moisturize at all, my make up looked godawful, caked on, thick, uneven and messy. It's so bad that I've had to wash my face at work several times due to how bad my make up has looked over this cream.

I'm actually starting to think it was THIS cream that contributed to the condition of my skin. I'm used to having dry skin, but only on my nose and chin area... while using this cream the dry skin was EVERYWHERE, even in places where I've never had dry skin before, like under my eyes. I've also never had issues with my make up looking as bad as it did with this cream.

Extremely strong fragrance smell too. I switched to L'oreal Hydra-renewal and in ONE day all my dry skin is gone AND it's cheaper. I will get down on one knee, raise my right hand and proclaim Hydra-Renewal as my HG.

I would never recommend or buy this cream again. I have a bit left in the jar and it's going right in the garbage. I give it an F-.

I got a little jar of this as a free sample w/ Garnier's regular (non-radiance) "Skin Renew" cream. I had actually meant to purchase this one instead; i had been in a winter frame of mind at the time, and for some reason assumed this would moisturize better. But after using the sample jar (i used it for over a week) I decided to stick with the regular non-radiance stuff. As far as moisturizing goes, this does not moisturize any better or "deeper" than the regular skin renew--which by the way, i don't consider to be anything special (just a nice simple light moisturizer)--but that's still not why I decided not to buy this. The Radiance cream is basically exactly the same as the regular Skin Renew, except it provides a non-greasy "dewy" look that can border on shiny, even under make-up. I actually liked this at first; I don't mind a little shine, and I use a very matte sunblock over it--Neutragena's Dry Touch, but after about an hour or so, I often caught myself becoming alarmed by my own "radiance" whenever I happened to catch sight of my reflection randomly in windows or mirrors throughout the day. I'm going to go ahead and give this a major thumb down for that. Even if you prefer that dewy look you may need to counter this stuff with a bit of powder. Since I can't use powder w/o breaking out, it's a definite no-go for me.

I bought this moisturizer because I wanted something to put on after I take off my makeup and wash my face with my Clarisonic. I picked this up on a whim in the skin care aisle. I have to say I'm very pleased. It doesn't feel greasy at all when I put it on, and it soaks in well. My skin feels immediately hydrated after and it stays feeling hydrated. It's a different consistency, not quite a gel and not as heavy as a thick cream. I think that this is one of the better Garnier skin products that I've tried, but I've only tried about 5 in their line. I will keep repurchasing this unless I find a holy grail moisturizer for as good a deal a this one, but I think that this one might achieve Holy Grail status over time.

EDIT: This didn't give me enough moisture for my dry skin. It seemed like it did at first but it seemed to lose it's effectiveness after a time. I'm going to try something else.
