Chanel eyeshadows (the powder ones) are by far the best that I've used as far as beautiful colors and staying power goes. Their shadows stay on me all day. Not necessarily so w/my Laura mercier or bobbi brown ones. this is fabulous. Nice neutral color but pearl makes it modern (but not too crazy for daytime).

Vega is a pretty taupey neutral with little sparkles to it. I love this.

This color came highly recommended for my coloring, PPP with blue eyes. Boy did I try to like it but I didn't. The shade was just a boring greyish taupe that was not flattering on me. It has a nice texture but is so $$ IMO.

I was so unimpressed with Vega that I swapped it away. The microshimmer ended up all over my cheeks despite careful application and the eyeshadow itself creased like mad after just a couple of hours. I still fervently believe that Giorgio Armani number 11 eyeshadow is the best silvery taupe out there.

For an expensive as heck shadow, this is worth every penny! It's one of the most gorgeous shades I've ever worn! Worth the money, the consistency is silky, the color is a beautiful taupe, with enough sparkle to give it a pretty shimmer without it looking too frosty.

Vega is a shimmery taupe shadow with a nice soft texture that glides easily on lids. It has a great everyday neutral look to it. Unfortunetly the mica in the shadow irritates my eyes something fierce and I can only use it if I apply it above the crease. Too bad, it is a great color.

I love this eyeshadow. It glides on smoothly and lasts and lasts. I can look in the mirror at the end of the day and it looks good as new. I am happy when I look and don't feel washed out like with out other e/s. It also works great with Chanel liquid eyeshadow sand #60 as a base and trhen applied over it. I love the packaging, it lasts forever and I would buy it again!!!

I don't own this shadow (yet, they are all out at my local Chanel counter) but I tried it when my Chanel-employed cousin did my makeup for me. I am madly in love with it. It's a beautiful shimmering brown-grey, great when applied wet or dry. The best part, for me, is that it works really well with all of my other eyeshadows. I've only recently started venturing to the counters and I mostly have drugstore cosmetics. Yesterday, my cousin did my makeup at lunch time and by the time I wanted to go out at 10 p.m., the shadow was still on, only slightly worn off. So I topped it off with some dark purple L'Oreal shadow, and it just made that shadow ten times better. I'm sure it will work nicely with blues, greens, browns, pinks, and charcoals. So I think if you're looking for a gorgeous, versatile shadow that compliments the makeup you've already got, this one's for you.

Beautiful cool dark brown shadow with subtle hint of frosting. Lasts almost all day, though it does fade slightly towards evening. When I apply it with a brush, some dust tends to fall on to my cheeks. What I do is keep a huge powder brush handy to brush it away, and make a point of applying my blusher AFTER the eyeshadow, so I'm not brushing the blusher away at the same time. One lippy off for price/lack of total staying-power.

Fantastic color that I reach for every day. I have blue eyes and this works well with them. Some taupes make my eyes look dull--Vega really gives me a sexy, smokey look. I apply it wet and it looks superb. Highly recommend!

I love this shade, but it is almost EXACTLY like my MAC Satin Taupe - just slightly more sheer, and now I'm regretting having purchased this when it's the same exact shade. (I also have Shu Uemura's ME Silver 945 which is also very similar to both, I like Shu's better). Chanel's e/s applies much easier than MAC's though, it just GLIDES on like a dream. This is a beautiful grey/taupe shade that will work on just about anybody.

AWESOME shadow! This is a greyed-down light brown/taupe with incredible sophisticated shimmer and shine. The consistency is amazing...like velvet, and just a touch will do. Use it wet for a striking liner. I have green eyes and ADORE this shade for smoky eyes or even for just an all-over shade.

Vega is the perfect silvery taupe for my light cool toned skin. For years I shied away from anything with shimmer or shine because my eyelids are not as young as they used to be. I've since learned that there is a broad range between shimmer & shine! Vega has a soft glow that is almost creamy when applied and it does not accentuate crepey eyelids at all. I find Vega to be versatile enough to be a sheer lid color, or layered for intensity. I also tend to add it to other shades such as Nova & Ylang for added dimension. When used wet it's the perfect subtle liner to enhance my eyes. Vega is a shade I hope to never be without!

Pair w/ NARS Corfu (cream beige) - use cream as a base and then layer Vega over it...the beige base really brings out Vega (since it has hints of grey, taupe, silver, purple and green) - excellent texture. i am extremely happy with the purchase

I'm so glad I read about this shadow here in MUA. This is the only e/s that I think you can do a daytime smoky eye, and also great at night for more drama.
Great to pair it with liners in browne, black, purple and gray.
Very versatile, elegant and sexy, definetely a must.

I mostly use it as a crease colour and to smudge over my eyeliner. It emphasizes the fabulous blue of my eyeliner (Chanel's marine kohl). Not a flat dirty taupe like some look on me ... instead this has a nice sheen/shimmer without being too sparkly/young.

Great neutral everyday color. Out of all the neutral taupe-y brown colors out there, Chanel's is of course the best.

I don't even know where to start.
Yes, the quality is lovely and the texture is soft, but this was NOT the color I craved for.
Reading the reviews on MUA I was thinking about a taupy kind of color. I saw it at the Chanel counter and was hesitant, for sure. But I kept thinking about the rave reviews and decided to get it. This is totally BLUEish on my lids!!! and that s not a color I wear at all. Makes me look kind of sickly....
I'm tryng to make it work as liner since it just wont work for me as a lid or crease color. So far - I've been hardly using it.
So sad.......
