Bad dry shampoo! the worst I've ever tried. Buy something else. This is so disappointing when there are so many other great brands of dry shampoo. I should have returned it, but never bothered, but I can't believe they are still trying to sell this junk. If you had your first dry shampoo experience with this brand, don't despair, there are other products that do not make hair sticky and disgusting.

I have tried many dry shampoos and waterless foam shampoos and this is by far the worst one! I can't believe how gross this made my hair look and feel. I tried their other one as well for fine dry hair because I bought them at the same time and it was just as bad!

I don't like how it makes my hair feel wet. If I straightened, curled, or styled my hair in a specific way, I don't want any wetness on my hair to mess it up. I thought the "waterless" part on the label meant my hair would stay dry... I was expecting this stuff to be similar to a dry shampoo formula like Batiste, except without the powdery/ ashy effect staining my hair. This is definitely not a typical dry shampoo (IMO). I like the packaging and mousse formula. I also like how this "foam" shampoo smells really fresh and citrus-y and makes my hair FEEL clean. However, if your roots are a little greasy, this product will not solve that problem at all. My hair looks kind of wet and greasy after using this stuff. Yuck. Maybe the formula for "oily" hair is less moisturizing and would work better to banish greasy roots? Hmm...

Sorry to see so many with issues. I'd highly recommend using less product to start with. If it makes your hair super wet, you are using way too much!

I have medium to short heavy fine hair with a tiny wave. I used two small pumps which seemed to work fine. I would say that the towel 'drying' step is where most people are running into issues. I didn't do a great job with that step, but even so, my hair seemed to lift up and get some body and definitely looked better than before I had started.

It is a nice little product when you need the shampoo but are short on time.

I wanted to love this product because I really love TRESemme products and have had a lot of success with them, but I would not purchase this again. My scalp can look oily very fast but I have a lot of hair so I don't like to wash it more than every other day. This product was very inexpensive (I can't remember if it was on sale), especially compared to other dry shampoos. I also figured that because it's a foam it would be quicker and less messy than other dry shampoos. So, after trying it out, my hair looked very, VERY shiny at the roots (which shows a lot on my hair colour) and it looked greasy. The only time I really have any success with it is when I spend a long time trying to get rid of any excess with a towel; it's not the most fun/easy process for me. I do have to say though that it makes my hair feel cleaner, even if it doesn't always look that way. It gives my roots a bit more volume, but it's very hit and miss when I have a decent hair day or an atrocious one with this product. Also, the smell isn't too bad, it's just very strong and can sometimes conflict with the other scented products I use.
On another note, I would not recommend this dry shampoo to anyone with fine, thick hair (especially if it's not particularly shiny and/or it's a colour that typically shows oil). But, I'm sure that other people who have easier hair to work with might find more success.

This product actually made my hair look worse than it did before I applied it. My hair on the side where I applied this 'shampoo' looked clumpy and matted as if I had used too much cheap mousse and then tried to brush it out while it was still wet.

The scent is okay, though it is very strong. I don't imagine it would eliminate odor as much as it would (possibly) cover it up.

Will not be repurchasing.

Never buying this again, I don't even like to use it. My hair is super oily, and have to shampoo every other day. I crashed when I came home lastnight and woke up this morning to go to work and freaked out when I saw how greasy and oily my hair looked. I grabbed this and worked it into my roots, and used a towel to absorb any excess oils and it did nothing, just made it look like i stepped out of the shower. This does the opposite of what it claims to do. I eventually had to use baby powder; it seems like that is the only thing you can rely on, it just takes to long and is a pain when you have dark long hair.

I had high hopes for this product. I color my hair and I was looking for something on those days that I don't wash my hair. I have tried both of these-this one and the dry version. The waterlerss version made my hair greasy and the dry version left a white cast to my hair (my hair is black now). Overall I think these are both lousy products and I would not recommend or repurxhase.

I got this just in case I didn't like their dry shampoo. I don't like either. It doesn't make my hair do what it says on the bottle that it will do. I have tried using this, following the instructions closely, several times and each time I have ended up getting in the shower and just washing my hair. It's not for me.

I do not have time to wash my hair daily, but if I don't by the middle of the second day my hair is so greasy and oily looking. I bought this waterless shampoo after hearing about it on one of my fav makeup tutorial gals blogs. I love this stuff! I use 1 pump and rub it in my hands and then put it all over my scalp and then down to the ends. I use my towel as it says to do and towel it off. It works a wonder. It is not waterless, it just doesn't take water to remove it. I highly reccommend this if you are looking for something to get rid of your oily and piled on product if you can't or don't wash your hair daily.

Edit: So I have been using this on a regular basis. In the end it makes my hair oily for some reason.

I was extremely skeptical. I tried many dry powder shampoos and they have all failed for me. I bought this on clearance at Jewel and tried it the next day. It worked really well and smelled so refreshing. I felt as if I had actually washed my hair. I use 3 sprays, just rub it into my scalp and then put my head upside down and rub it with a towel. When I whip my hair back it looks fresh and full of volume!

I love this product!! I have very thick wavy hair and it takes way too long to dry for me to be able to wash daily. I use a couple of pumps of this on my scalp/root/crown area when it is a little greasy and it clears it up nicely. It smells good. It is not dry, it dampens the hair, but dries quickly. It has become a regular part of my routine. I think it is my HG leave-in shampoo maybe :)

Thought I'd try this instead of my usual Batiste. Big mistake! Used less than it recommended in the instructions and my hair became incredibly greasy and impossible to brush as the hair stuck together and matted. Worst product I've ever used in my hair.

I do like this product and I can't believe people are giving it such low reviews! Ladies...if this stuff makes you hair so wet and soppy that you have to actually use a towel to dry it, you've used too much! I use like half a pump at a time and put it into my roots. If I find I need more, I add half a pump more and I never use more than that. It's great for after a PE class or gym workout because it works best on sweat, not grease. For when my hair is oily, this kinda makes it gunky (so I use a powder or the spray for that). Overall, it's pretty good and I'm not sure if I'll repurchase but I'd like to try the spray version first.

I love this stuff! I had to use a little more than what it said on the bottle, but that's because my hair is very thick. I've been wanting to find something where I wouldn't have to wash my hair every single day as I've been doing for about 20 years. This stuff really works! It leaves your hair shiny and smelling great. I will definitely keep using this.

Simply put, this product doesn't do what it says on the can.
It is supposed to be a quick fix in between washes, but it is neither quick nor does it fix. With most dry powder shampoo, you spray, give it a brush, and you're good to go. With this one, it comes out foamy and wet, and therefore you have to either towel dry or blowdry - neither of which is very quick to do. I found that it was so wet I couldn't really towel dry it quickly either; my hair came out even limper and greasier. So I had to blowdry, which produces slightly better results. But again, time consuming in the morning when you just need to get to work on time.
That's the application downside, but perhaps the worst part is after all that it doesn't really leave hair any better than before. My hair still looks greasy and limp and, though I couldn't have thought it possible, when towel 'dried', looks even more flat and wet! As another reviewer said, the only upside of this product is the smell, which is tresemme nice.
The whole point of this kind of shampoo is to save time and effort, and I don't think this product does, in addition to not actually doing what it's meant to do. AND it costs more than most dry shampoos! I expected more from a well known brand like Tresemme, but I'm going to stick with Batiste dry shampoos. I usually only comment on products which I think are brilliant or products which I'm really disappointed in buying - and this is one of the latter.

I am seriously in love with this stuff. I have curly hair and have never had any luck with waterless shampoos. This foam version is amazing! If I don't have time to shampoo in the morning, I work 4 or 5 pumps of this into my hair, throw it up in a bun, and in no time at all my curls are redefined, shiny and frizz free. Love it!

Yay for non-greasy hair!
I have thick, curly hair that is very dry after washing. Within a day, it becomes very greasy.
This absorbs the oils in hair while leaving it soft, shiny, and slightly less greasy. Also it leaves my hair curlier than before.
I'm okay with this, and it smells good.
:)
