I had to write a review on these. Boy their marketing for these shadows is VERY different than what you actually get! They clearly are trying to complete with the high quality shadows that have lots of lush pigment, like mac, UD, etc. I found these to be very, very sheer like some other users have said, and they came off within three or four hours. You can tell that the quality is just poor. And I think that regular maybelline shadows have more pigment than this, no joke. I was dissapointed. I am returning to get my $11 (???) dollars back.

I don't like these. They don't stay on and the color is sheer. and 11 dolla? Not worth it.

Love those eye shadows!you can do a soft look with them or a more dramatic look with them.if you add water to your brush, the color becomes more vivid and shimmery!love that they last long and that they got a nice collection of colors.i got: copper chic, legendary lilac, saphire siren...and i love them all! No fall out what so ever, they stay on even with no primer!love the sélection of colors! Will probably add:gimme gold and an other blue one.

I bought this in Liliac. The colours are nice, but I did not get the pigmentation I wanted to. The dark magenta, almost maroon, shade took quite a few dips into the shadow to get it right, but it didn't even look the same as it did in the palette! Comes off rather quickly. But overall, for $11 freakin' dollars? Urgh. Not buying again.

I wanted to like this one, but I really didn't. I uploaded the photo with the Mad For Mauve color swatches on my hand so you could see how it looked on skin. Please keep in mind that I had to put 3 coats of the eyeshadow on for the colors to be visible. The color payout just isn't there, and the fallout is a pain. The colors themselves are very pretty, it just takes a lot for it to show up, and it somehow disappears after a couple of hours, and that is WITH a primer. Hope this helps!!!

where to begin, where to begin. I think i agree with everyone else on this one, but these eyeshadows are definitely easily overblended. They do have a lot of fallout, and are very shimmery. BUT, the colors are just too cute, and If I use a primer and blend just right, these are really really cute eyeshadows. The packaging scares me, because its plastic. Every time I open it, I end up with my finger in the eyeshadow (its very soft eyeshadow, lol. but its aggravating with half of one color on my finger). I guess for the cost it's probably not worth it, but I do like the shimmers, and I would probably only wear this at a party or something because otherwise it doesnt last very long. Still, i might buy this again. Ill have to see how it goes!

I have this in Give Me Gold. The colours are gorgeous, and a lot more pigmented than I was expecting when I bought it. I like that they're shimmery, as I'm not a HUGE fan a matte colours. They do fade a bit over the day, and the shimmer does cause some fall-out, but nothing that's a huge deal.

The packaging was a nightmare though. I couldn't even get it open when I first bought it. I actually thought it had been glued shut or something. After several minutes, I did manage to pry it open, but when I did, my finger slipped and my nail gouged a small chunk of the lightest colour out. Ugh!
After multiple uses though, the clasp did seem to loosen up a bit, and I can open it easily now.

I may pick this up in a few more colours!

I can understand the complaints about lack of staying power and being too glittery. I tried it on with my clinique eye primer and the sparkles went everywhere...BUT

When I used this on top of Makeup Forever's new Aqua Cream in #13, the shadow did not budge. It was really pretty and shimmery instead of being glittery. I also used Makeup Forever's waterproof eyeliner...it's amazing....

HTH!

These eyeshadows are probably the ones that are among the most used in my stash. For reference, I have them in the Diamond Glow series (as I understand it, the non-US versions) and the colors are different. I have these in Gray Pink, Lilac Mauve and Wine Pink. Yes, they're very glittery - but the color payoff is just so excellent and the colors themselves are so vibrant and beautiful! Of course, if you use the entire palette for your eyes it's going to look like you showered in glitter. I like to mix these with matte or just slightly shimmery eyeshadows from other palettes. Repurchase-worthy? Definitely.

I have this in give me gold and purple icon. i freaking love them, they are super pigmented! i just wish they were a teency bit less shimmery, but all in all it is a great eyeshadow for maybelline. they're a little bit expensive for drugstore make up, about 11 to 12.99, but worth it in my opinion. the eyeshadows a little bit on the small side but still worth every penny.

I have this eyeshadow in Give Me Gold,
and I have to say that I adore the color.
They last all day,
and they are very pigmented.
But the downside is the packaging.
I stab one of the eyeshadow and I was like,
"Why me?"

BUt other then that, I love the product.
I might get more color.

I love my quad....the colors are pretty and show up well. The shadow is soft and blendable. I don't like the packaging...its crappy and when I opened it for the first time I stabbed one of the shadows with my finger and dug a gouge in it. Fall out was a bit of a problem for the lightest shade. Overall great product. I want more color combos! oh I got it for $6.48 at walmart (cheap!)

I have a couple of these, and I really like them. They are very soft, and for that reason I am careful with my brush. I use UDPP underneath, so they last alll day and night, and I don't get fall out. I don't really like the compact they come in, and they are a bit expensive. There's half as much shadow in this quad than is in their normal quads, and I feel like this will run out much faster due that and to the softness too. Still, I like the colors and the blendability.

Yuck, I hated this product. I bought it at Wal-Mart and when I tried to use it the shadow just crumbled up. I bought the neutral/brown colors and they made me look like a clown. I returned it immediately! Plus it's too expensive for the quality. No thanks :)

I just purchased this in Legendary Lilac yesterday at Target. They were having a sale so it was $6.99 usually it's $8.49. The first thing I noticed were the colors they are very pretty, nice purples. I was thinking about getting Give Me Gold but decided on this instead. I brought it home and tried it on, and I noticed it's a great formula for being soft and easy to blend, I can definatly see why they call it Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow. I like the brush, but the eyeshadow panned the minute I rubbed a little too hard with it!! Considering this is pretty spendy I'm not going to be able to buy it a lot and if I run out I run out. The colors are all really nice but when I tried to add more they kinda blended together and I couldn't really tell which color was which, it looked like I wasn't wearing any shadow. This does fade extremely quickly. It's so soft I think that's one of the problems it makes it fade. I don't have primer right now (seeing as I'm a broke 13 year old). If this isn't on sale, I wouldn't buy it. It's too much money for not being that great.
Edit 4/6/10
This shadow completely panned and went everywhere in the container! For a messy girl like me I can't buy this, it doesn't work for me, too delicate. I really wanted to like this but I can't.

I have this in Give Me Gold. I've always wanted a nice gold colored eyeshadow. That's what I found with this. Very pretty colors and I like shimmery eyeshadows, so it's a win win for me. I purchased it at Rite Aid because I couldn't find it at my local Target. They were having a little sale so I got it for a little cheaper than the normal price. I'm thinking about getting more because they finally have more at Target.

As a huge fan of Maybelline eyeshadows, i ran to my local Walmart to pick this up! unfortunately there were only 2 left! i was rather disappointed because i was set on buying the smoky eye one with the light pink and they didnt have that! so i bought the Copper Chic...SO HAPPY! These, in my opinion, have great pigmentation. YES, they are verrrry shimmery. DO NOT BUY if you dont like shimmer:) OVERALL, i love this product and running to my local drugstore to buy more. the price is a little high but i really am enjoying mine!
