HATE THIS WITH A PASSION!!! I used to lovvvveeeee MAC sundressing. I also love Sally Hansen Spray on. I was so excited to see that L'Oreal had come out with a one day bronzer. I was pitifully disapointed. First of all....this mess did not blend!! It would not rub into my skin! Just looked like dirty streaks as if i was rubbing mud on my skin! The color was way too red. MY PLAMS WERE STAINED LIKE CRAZY!! Im talking about way worse than self tanner staining! I hate this stuff with a passion

This did stain my hands despite the packaging claims that it washes out easliy with soap and water. Also it doesn't have the best scent. However I had good luck with the color developing. It looked natural, not muddy. I started off with a little bit and gradually applied more to get the color I wanted. I'm not sure if I would purcahse again as I think there are better products out there, but this is good for a temporary solution when you need a little color and don't want that awful self-tanner smell lingering on you.

This stuff is great. I bought mine at Rite Aid for about $10. For the price you get a generous amount of product. The packaging is also convenient. It has a pump that's not too sensitive so product wont get all over the place if it's thrown in a bag. Scent is delightful. Doesn't have a annoying self tanner scent to it and the texture of the gel feels nice and cooling on your skin.

This product will work best if you're already somewhat tanned. (I'm a NC42 in the winter and a NC44-45 in the summer) I think it's meant to work as a color booster. So if your more on the paler side don't rely on this for your tan. I mainly use this on my legs when i'm going out and I need that glow on my legs. The gel is buildable. I use about 2 layers and it works wonderfully!! The cool part is that it washes out with soap and water. So if you feel like you applied it unevenly you can wash it off and start over. For me I never ran into that problem. This stuff is pretty easy to work with.

ONE TIP: Wash your hands inbetween coats. It may still stain your palms. Better safe than sorry:)

I'm glad I found this product. Very interesting and different from all the self tanners out there. Will purchase again:)))

I LOVE l'oreal's sublime bronzers but this was way too light. My skintone is medium (NC35), but I was hoping this would give me a little more color like how I saw it advertised in the ad, it did not. In fact it blended right into my skin and I couldn't see any kind of difference. I think this would only work for those who are very pale. The only positive about this product was that it gives your skin a subtle shimmer in a nice glowy kind of way but as far as giving me a deeper color it was a definite miss for me. I'll stick to using my sublime gel in deep. My absolute favorite self tanning product ever! This tinted gel is going back.

I've always loved my self tanners, but it's the most tedious job. takes forever to apply,(not talking about this bronzer, but self tanners.)
and you have to be so careful to put it on smoothly, rub it in well, etc etc. so for me, i love the idea of having a bottle or bronzer that I can rub on, go, then later just wash off without having to worry about patchy fading. so i love the concept of this product. unfortunately, the color sucks. I've posted a picture of my legs, one with the bronzer, and one without. in the picture, i think it looks just great. you can't see how pink the color really is in person. I would rather have a bronzer or tanner make me look a little orange (but still, god forbid.) than PINK or RED. it makes me look a little sun burnt.
I'm very disappointed, seeing as I absolutely loved this product in the beginning, before I noticed the pinky color. (since it took me a while to notice, it's obviously not too too noticeable.)
next I want to try Duwop Revolotion.

I was hoping that this would work. I liked the idea of being able to wash it off and building up the colour as much as you please, all in one day. Unfortunately, the colour was much too orange for me. It could've been my crappy application job but it was really uneven and streaky on my legs. I did like that it didn't have an offensive smell and didn't break me out(probably because it's not a stain). I think this product is the first product that I have ever returned for a refund. Save your money and buy something better, like St. Tropez.

Wow!! Congrats L'Oreal, my first one star rating!! This product is a joke. Nothing redeeming about it. I'm incredibly pale when I don't self-tan, but it's so tedious sometimes. This sounded like the answer to my prayers!! I ran out to buy this, only to be completely disappointed. It somehow stains my hands, and yet there is virtually no color on the areas I'm trying to tan! I tried layering the product, only to get a blotchy, reddish mess that rubbed off as quickly as I could rub it on. Please do yourself a favor and save your $10. The smell of this is even terrible!!! For something that isn't actually a self-tanner, they've somehow managed to make it smell just as bad!! One star all the way!!

LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! i was a little skeptical @ first because i hate the l'oreal sublime glow gel (it makes me look like a straight up pumpkin), but i was really curious about it since i am self-tanner obsesseddddd. i tried this 2 nights ago with a sponge since i didnt wanna stain the insides of my hands, and didnt notice a difference right away, as it applies very sheer with faint shimmer. however, 8 or so hours later when i woke up, i was shocked at how beautiful it turned out! i already havea nice tan, but this product just accentuated the tan and literally made my skin glow. yes, it does seem to have a pinkish undertone, so if you do not have a cool skin tone (pink understones), then this might not work for you. however, for us cool-toned ladies, this is a MUST!!! what do you have to loose?!- it costs 8 bucks and you can usually get it on sale @ ULTA for half priced, and if you hate it, it washes right off!!

I can't understand all the positive reviews on this one. The color is so unrealistic, very reddish. At first, I couldn't tell that it was showing up (I'm very pale). When I went outside and looked at it in natural light, I was streaked so badly and the color was terrible. My family also commented. I tried blending like crazy.....rubbing, rubbing, but the stuff is impossible to blend. Also, it stained my hands. I even washed them immediately after applying! I will stick with LORAC Tantalizer. It's much more expensive, but the color is beautiful and you can blend it in much easier and lightly buff away any mistakes. This was a complete waste of money.

In all my years as a Makeup Alley member, I have not done the following: 1) written a product review and 2) returned a product back to the store the same day I purchased it.

I thought this would be the answer to my prayers: something I could throw on when I haven't had the time or the motivation to self tan. Wanted to love this, thought I would love this based on the reviews...don't love it...SO DISAPPOINTED! Here's why:

1) I am very pale and the color is just so unrealistic - it is, as described here by others, a pinky/reddish color and I guess that is not the right look for me - I would be mortified to show up at a party with my legs this color - so obviously fake and not in a good way.

2) It does not rub in well - it needs some serious blending and rubbing, but yet, the more you rub, the more the color seems to fade. So then I just figured it wold require multiple layers to get the proper coverage, which would be fine, except that more the more layers you put on, the more fake the color looks.

3) THIS WILL STAIN YOUR HANDS LIKE CRAZY! I have never seen my hands so stained by a tanning product as much as this one. I even tried to do a small section of skin, then quickly wash my hands but they were already stained. It does scrub off, but it requires a little effort to get the stain fully off.

4) The smell is very overpowering - does not smell like the typical self tanning smell, but it is almost as bad because it so fake/perfumy smelling and does not go away quicly, so it would definitely clash with any other scent you were wearing.

On a postive note, I liked the pump packaging and for the money, if you like this stuff, you do get alot for the price

Very nice natural colour. I haven't jumped in my salt water pool to see if I am surrounded by a brown cloud yet and come out of the pool white again!! It does come off on towels when drying off after a shower but does come out in the wash. Nice smell too. My hands can be dry sometimes and the colour really stuck to my palms, it was really hard to get off. I use non latex gloves now.

This stuff has eliminated my need for self tanner.

1) Instant gratification. I get the color I want when I want it.
2) No horrible self-tanner smell.
3) Washes off daily. Self-tanner needs to be applied daily or every other day to maintain color. No real difference in time needed to apply.
4) Great value, a lot of product and it can be used on the face.

Yes, it can rub off it you do not make sure it is completely dry, but that is easily remedied by using a blow dryer or waiting a few minutes before dressing. I love this stuff.

I have been loving this for these past few warm weather months. I use self tanner all year round, I'm just THAT white. Still, I've found that this sort of smooths over any mistakes I may have made or uneven spots. It's actually a ruddy brown, the exact same look that your skin gets from the real sun. It seems to serve as a lotion as well, hasn't dried my skin out or stained any of my clothes. I sit with my legs crossed at work most of the day and haven't had any messy episodes with this bronzer (as my knees tend to sweat together- gross I know). I love it!! Perfect for just about any use- over a sunless tanner, alone, or over a real tan. One more thing- easy to travel with. The cap twists to prevent leaks- and a pretty big bottle. A+

I LOVE this product! I have always had battle with self tanners as I have body freckles and self tanners tint the freckles more than the rest of the skin and really accentuate them. I am very fair and this product after one coat really knocked of the white glow, and just left a nice tannish and even looking tone. When applying, the product color undertone was a bit red but it really ended up looking much better and less orange than anything else I have ever tried. I was concerned about it rubbing off and getting splotchy after crossing legs, etc. but it's not like make-up, just a stain and even after sleeping in it, it looked great!

I dislike having to give this product such a low rating as the concept and packaging are great. The product, in my experience, not so much. I am pretty fair, not Snow White fair, more of a Belle (Beauty and the Beast, not Bella :) with warmer undertones. I only really wanted to use this on my legs so I could finally breakout some skirts. For the first 5min this was such a lovely bronze. After it had actually set though, we had some issues. It had turned a muddy pink, let me tell you if you dont know, that is much worse than an orange glow. Muddy pink happens to look like a rash, and "the hubby" was not to thrilled when he asked me if i was having an allergic reaction to this. Nope, no itch or bumps, just streaky, muddy, pink. The streaks also appered after the product set as well. Back to my sally hansen spray tan I guess...

THIS is the product I've been waiting all my adult life for!!!!!! It is a tanner that lasts only one day, so I guess you could call it more of a stain. It washes away with soap and water, does not smudge or get on your clothes, smells good, and looks fantastic. It is the most realistic looking product I have used, not orange-y at all, and the color builds the more you apply. It also dries quickly and does NOT rub off. I HATE the self-tanner smell, and have never found one that didn't reek
-- NEVER. I love this because I can apply it just where I want it and it will wash off in the shower the next day. THANK YOU, L'Oreal for making this amazing product, please don't stop!!!!!!! A+++++!

I really want to like this. I'm in Florida though and this really isn't going to be something that is usable thoughout the whole year. Any humidity/perspiration will melt this off in a flash as others have stated.
It's a lovely color payoff and I have used it to even out my sunless tan on my feet/backs of hands when the sunless tan looked a little splotchy and it works great for that.

My only tip to avoid orange palms is to use some other lotion on your hands first to block the bronzer from being absorbed. Makes it super easy to just soap up and wash away the color from your hands.
