Love love love this mascara! I can say that this is the only mascara I end up keeping after trying all other brands. I can't go a day without it! I heard many negative reviews on this mascara, but I don't seem to see anything wrong with it. It lengthens and thickens my mascara and keeps my curls up! When applied it does not clump up!!
I adore the packaging! Personally there is no cons to this mascara! I love it!!!

Really good mascara, I usually wear it when I know I have to be out during a long time and with no time to touch up my eyelashes. It's a stapler!

I normally use Max Factor Lash Extension Effect in Brown/Black so for my upcoming wedding I went to buy the same in waterproof, but found that they only make their waterproof formula in Black. Turns out all the major waterproof mascaras are only in Black. What is up with that? Anyway, I use the Max Factor because it lengthens, separates and curls - very natural, no thickening - and it contains no paraffin or 'petroleum distillates'. Well, after running from counter to counter trying to find a Brown Waterproof mascara I found this one. It claimed to do the same things as the MF and it had no paraffin or 'petroleum distillates' (unlike the one at Chanel) - hurray. And it delivers. It's gorgeous. It is natural and lovely and lasts all day. It's £22, so I'll only be using this when I really need waterproof because that's pretty pricey, but I've got my wedding day mascara - YAY!

I bought this mascara because its waterproof and i needed a good waterproof mascara. I had no idea just how amazing this mascara is. It does not flake, smudge, clump, or anything like that that. It doesnt really give you huge fake looking lashes, but instead gives you a more natural defined look, which i love!! This is my HG mascara for the summer, when i spend all my time outdoprs and need a reliable, natural looking mascara. I dont normally wear a lot of makeup, mostly just mascara, and this mascara made my eyes look gorgeous and really flirty! Expensive, but entirely worth it. Its also great at lengthening.

At first I really liked this mascara, but after awhile it was just average. I do like the fact that it washes off easily with your regular face wash, however for the price, it just doesn't do justice.

I have been using this mascara for almost a year and its my HG. I was trying out many other brands (Revlon, Maybelline, Lancome etc. and Dior "Diorshow"). However all these mascaras gave me flakes or smudges, sometimes at the end of the day I found mascara dust under my eyes. Until I got this amazing mascara. Iconic Extreme is absolutely fabulous! I love it. I got it in black and have been using for more than half a year. This mascara dooesnt give me too much volume (which I dont need) and there are no flakes or smudges ever! It stays on perfectly - even if its not waterproof. I will repurchase it soon.

This is ok if you want a very natural lash tint. It separates well and adds a touch of color. But I like my lashes big and dramatic and this was just not in that category, no matter how many coats, primer, etc.

I went from Shu Uemeras basic mascara to Diorshow Iconic. This mascara is beautiful, and makes my lashes long. I wouldn't say that it keeps the curl of my lashes curled, but it doesn't pull it out flat either. I think it is a great dramatic lash, and it stays put ALL day and night! I can even reapply later in the day, and it still looks great without clumping. No flakes or smudges, I don't mind this product. I have yet to find my HG. I was advised to purchase this item by the sales guy at Sephora, he tisked at me when I try to buy a YSL mascara.

I got the non-waterproof Diorshow Iconic. The mascara goes on very black which looks beautiful for my already black lashes. When paired with the new version of Shiseido's lash primer, it looks neat, long, and polished. (As a comparison, Mabelline's Full N Soft gives a softer more natural black, whereas Iconic has an obvious stark black.) It does not have a dramatic false lash thickening effect and the mascara wand doesn't grab onto my lashes well. However, even with the crappy wand, the mascara coats evenly on my lashes by sheer contact. I can also layer two or three coats without clumping or dropping curls. I use UDPP on my under eye area, which prevents the mascara from smearing on my skin. This is a must to avoid racoon eyes when using this mascara.

I was looking for a dramatic waterproof mascara since I live in areas with lots of rain and snow and I was only moderately pleased with this product. It is waterproof and the color stays all day but not the shape and curl of my lashes. It's also quite drying, I think because of the waterproof formula. I've heard that the regular Diorshow mascara was good so I thought that the waterproof version would be good as well. I'll definitely be trying a different brand once this one runs out.

I needed a waterproof mascara and thought since I love Iconic so much, I'd try the waterproof version. I bought this mascara in Extreme Black. I can't say it's any blacker than any regular black mascara, and it seemed to take forever for me to even see any coating of the lashes. I went back and forth from one eye to the other and finally noticed a little length but absolutely no volume at all. Then I went to exercise class. Within five minutes my eyes were burning so horribly that I had to run and find some tissues to try to blot my burning eyes. I've only had this kind if irritation one other time with a mascara (Great Lash) and it really surprised me. I came home and tossed it in the trash. I only wish I had read the reviews below before buying this. I got it at Sephora on the Dior rack and it was the only one in stock. I do not have any other waterproof mascaras to compare this with. I will say though, that through all the sweating I did and the watery eyes, it did not budge. That's about the only good thing I can say about Dior Iconic Extreme Waterproof.

I finally found a mascara I can put on in the morning, go to work all day, do a hard, sweaty workout after work and have zero smearing! Amazing. I used Lancome waterproof for many years and although it worked ok (but did smear at the end of the day), I decided to give this a try. I agree with other reviewers about not doing much for volume but it does a great job for me at separating and elongating my lashes. I like the brush too. Would definitely recommend.

I *love* Diorshow's regular formula - I mean, adore. Unfortunately, I can't wear it with my contacts because it melts with any kind of re-wetting drops. So, unhappy with almost every other mascara out there, I decided this must be the pinnacle of awesomeness when I went to buy it.

It's a little underwhelming. Yes, my lashes have some added length, but volume is not really there. I have no problem with the color, it's not "blackout" but it's not bad either. It stays out of my eyes and I have 0 problems with irritation.

I think the pricetag is a bit high for this and I probably won't buy it again but I'll keep trying the Dior line for a waterproof I like.

I was so disappointed with this mascara, I am like a child at Christmas when I buy a new one and try it for the first time, but it was like oprning something that you'd waited for only to find it didn't work. I didn't see anything special with this, my lashes barely changed with this, I was expecting much more after many great reviews. Wouldn't buy again. All I'd say is it's good at getting at those tiny little lashes and coating them all, but that's it.

Very disappointed. I liked the regular formula a lot, and was very excited to see that there was a waterproof version available. It clumped and gave me spider lashes that would not comb out. A very expensive mistake- I should have read the reviews first.

the only fact extreme about this mascara is that is an extreme waste of money! if it was some mascara around 3-4 dollars i would maybe give some 3 stars but in this case, this is just a money in trash

Does a really nice job of defining and lengthening. Does nothing for thickening. Staying power is decent. In order to get my desired dramatic lash look, I used to have to layer DiorShow Blackout over it. Iconic actually helped with some of the flaking issues I used to experience with Blackout as it acted as an excellent base. However, I didn't feel it was worth it to spend $27 on a mascara that didn't do EXACTLY what I wanted it to do on its own. So I found Maybelline Colossal Volum'Express W/P and that's what I use now. However, I would recommend Iconic for someone who likes a nice natural, defined look to their lashes as it is a very nice mascara for that purpose.

Unbelievably bad mascara. It pulls the curl out, isn't very black, and does nothing to enhance my long but fine lashes. The brush is terrible because it does not catch my lashes. This actually makes my lashes look bad. In the garbage it goes.

Let me start by saying that the regular Iconic is by far my favorite mascara - so when they came out with a waterproof mascara I was very interested in trying it as the cold weather makes my eyes tear constantly. I read the 3 great reviews and off I went to buy it - OMG what a disappointment - my eyes started tearing and I caught a tear on my finger - a big black tear full of fibers - and it didn't dry - it was a mess!. Thinking that perhaps I had grabbed the regular one - which btw is so good it is borderline waterproof on it's own - I tried it again with the exact same results. I expect results for a $27 mascara - and this is just awful - for me anyway - I'll stick with the regular but will never repurchase this. Interestingly enough it is no longer listed on the Sephora website - maybe they took it off the market to fix it - meanwhile - if I can find the reciept I'm going to return this.

I can't believe the first review. Actually this is different than the most popular mascara in MUA (l'oreal, maybelline and lancome) that I've tried.

I don't usually use mascara because I have oily eyeslids, and usually they will have little particles falling into my eyes by the middle of day, which really irritates my sensitive eyes, giving me grayish mucus.

This is a gift I got in Christmas, I don't know how much it is. I just try since it's free. It lengthens just like the L'oreal ones. (I meant if you are fine with drugstore brands, stick with them, it looks the same.) It clumps very occasionally.

But the real difference showed when I wash my face. Instead of some blacken tears, they came off as tiny pieces of dried glue. Finally, someone knows what they are doing! Mascara are supposed to be some glue-form instead of some washable black paint! That totally explain the "no-particle-fallen-into-eye", "no-panda-eyes" phenomenon! Yaeh! Putting mascara is now back to my MU routine! :) Thanks Dior
