After a few hours with this, my lids became itchy and irritated. It's been a few days since I've used it, but now my lids are flaky, red, itchy, and irritated because if this stuff. Even though it's more expensive, I trust UDPP more to NOT give me an allergic reaction

I love this I use it almost everyday. Shadows show up on it the best of any drugstore eye shadow base I have tried. Definitely recommend it!

This product is just okay. Its pretty reasonably priced but I think its a bit overrated. Yes, it does make your eyeshadow pop but its hard to get out of the bottle and does not apply very well. Its almost turned into a hard cream. I don't agree with some other reviewers who said this could be used as a primer...its not very fluid and really only just makes the colors pop more. It does make blues and greens really stand out though. However, I will not buy again.

I use this all the time and I love it. My shadow used to crease and fade and now it's not a problem at all. Even when I apply all black shadow I use this as a base, then a black base and blend black shadow into it and it all stays put all day. No creasing. It also allows you to build super vibrant colors over it. You can use a teeny bit and blend out or you can go thicker and make a very pale base. It all works for me. I have the skin toned one as well and have the same results with it although I reach for the white one more out of habit.

I wanted to buy the pearl-finish version of this, but someone stuck their grubby little fingers in the only one left! So I bought this one instead.
It definitely makes your e/s more vibrant! It also reduces "fall-out" when you apply your e/s. I wish it was in a squeeze tube, but since it is in a pot, I use a flat brush to get it out & apply on my eyelids.
A few weeks later, I was able to get this in the pearl finish, & realized I like the plain white better.
I even like this better than UDPP, & it is a fraction of the price!

This isn't my favorite out of the three NYX bases, only because it's so white. You have to blend it out if you get it in an area if you don't want and you have to be careful to apply it in the right areas or it sticks out. However, very, very brightening to the eyes. Creamy as well. I don't have an eyeshadow primer, but I think this works almost as well as something would and when I have one, I think this would work great. My eyeshadow lasts tons longer with this on.

I was reluctant to try this product, because so many cream shadows or pencils (think Milk) crease horribly on me, even with primer. I've been very pleasantly surprised by this! I do wear it over a primer, and it does tend to crease just a bit more than if I didn't use it, but it's barely noticeable. The effect it gives is definitely worth it. It brightens up your shadows, especially colored ones, and gives them something to stick to. It just makes your shadows look nicer and more polished. There is a fine line between too much and not enough, but it seems to blend in pretty easily. My only complaint is that when I first put it on, it definitely accentuates any dry patches on my lids, but once I put on shadow, you can't see that at all. I would definitely recommend this product. Even if you have hooded, somewhat oily, easily crease-y lids like mine, try it over primer, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

I love this eyeshadow base! I would have to say it is my favorite nyx product and I use it every single day! I tried using the nyx jumbo pencil in "milk" as a primer and base for my shadows but it never failed to crease on me and flake off in chunks. Maybe because i have watery eyes? Anyways love this a whole lot and it never creases. I do, though use mac "painterly" or bitchslaps "light" face correcter under it. It really makes your eyeshadows "pop" and more vibrant. I get so many questions on how I get my eye makeup so bright and my shadows to stay and I have ended up recommending this product to so many people! It is relatively cheap and I would say a product that gets overlooked and not the attention it truly deserves:( I highly recommend and it lasts forever! Been over a year and still have plenty left:)

This is rather thick compared to the Nyx Jumbo pencil in milk, but I like to use this with brighter eyeshadows as I find it really makes the POP and look vibrant and bright! I don't find it as easy to work with as the skin tone eyeshadow base, but it is still a goodie.

I have been devoted to my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk for about 2 years now. Its the perfect base to make any eyeshadow vibrant. even though the JEP isn't the best primer, its still somewhat decent if used alone- but I still apply it over MAC's Painterly Paint Pot to ensure no creasing. I have a few set Holy Grail's from NYX, and recently made an order to purchase some favorite products. I wanted to try something new, and this seemed like a little more easier to use the then Milk JEP (it slightly does tug the skin around the eye, but nothing bothersome) ....Anywho, upon first usage, I noticed that it was far more creamier and easier to apply then the Milk JEP & I've been loving this ever since! it works with all my eyeshadows, and I never have any creasing. I am so happy I purchased this :) try it out, its really great. I still apply it over Painterly just to be sure- but even alone, its a fab product, and the packaging is cute to :P

Update-

For some reason, this primer no longer works for me :( it creases my eyeshadows horribly. I'm confused because it worked so well at first. I think the culprit might be my MAC painterly paint pot, so I'm going to test this over Urban Decay's Primer Potion, and see what happens. I'm hoping it will work well in conjunction- because this will make the crappiest qulaity of eyeshadow look so vibrant.

I became curious about NYX' White Eyeshadow Base after seeing gurus like Queen of Blending use it, and it seemed like a better better alternative to NYX' Milk Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil, which has never really appealed to me. I picked this up from Ulta for $6.99 and tried it right away at home. It makes colors appear much brighter and is a good, semi-sticky base for glittery shadows, pigments, and shadows with a fallout issue.
I apply this base by patting it on with my finger over a primer. If used with primer, I have no problem with creasing. Like the Milk Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil, the key to preventing creasing is to apply this product in a very thin layer. May I add this helps eyeshadows blend like a dream.
Another pro for this product is the packaging. It comes in a cute clear acrylic jar with a white lid. You get a lot of product (7 grams), which seems like it'll last forever. I've had this since April and use it very often and have barely made a dent in it.
While I don't feel like it makes shadows 100% more vivid like it claims, It does make them noticeably brighter. Like most NYX products, the value and quality of this product is great.

I used this product for the first time today. It definitely did its job of making eyeshadow pop. I used a primer underneath the base and it did not crease even after I did my work out.

It cannot be emphasized enough that this is a base not a primer, with a primer underneath of this it does what its supposed to and that is to make colors Pop and appear brighter and appear more true to pan color on the eyes.. Highly recommended.

I've been using UDPP for a while now. While I like how it prevents make e/s from creasing and makes them brighter, it feels sticky. It's always been a turn-off for me. So I read the reviews and got this one, seeing that this was rated higher than Pearl White. It creases so I have to put it on(w/a dense brush) right before I put on my e/s. I have UPM 'Oro' and it's true glod with the base underneath. A keeper :)

so i bought this at imats where i got it for half the price and i really wasnt that impressed , it creases way too much and doesnt really add to color as i thought it would, i just only like the way it stays on all day but the creasing gotta go!!! so i dont think i would re purchase this item anytime soon i would rather spend money on a paint pot from mac and i didnt really care for those either.

I just got this, and put it to some rigorous testing today--work, errands, even a massage (My face was pressed into a face cradle!) Ten hours later, and my shadow hasn't budged. Seriously impressive.

On my lids, no single shadow base has ever done the trick. I layer this over the NYX HD eyeshadow base. (I used to do the same thing with UDPP and a MAC paint pot before I found these absolute gems.)

This combo of products is amazing and I am completely thrilled with the price.

This stuff is wonderful. I have fairly dark skin on my eyelids, and some of the soft yellows, bright greens and light blues that I own don't really show up the way I imagine they would. This base completely transforms the eyeshadows and makes them look fantastically intense. I dab it on lightly, so I haven't noticed creasing. I put some on one evening to go out and 24 hours later it still lingered. Highly recommended.

I really like this base. I will say that you should still use a primer for crease protection. I use this white base basically to make eyeshadow colors more vibrant, and for a stickier base. (Not for longevity) It works brilliantly for that.

I use a thin layer of this white base under my shadows & it does make the color more vibrant. I don't have any problem with this creasing. Another great product from Nyx.
