BEST waterproof eyeliner ever! Every eyeliner runs... (I have tried everything even 24/7 by UD) and it runs and smudges. This does not smudge unless you want it to.

I was buying Revlon Colorstay eyeliner and the sales lady who rang me up suggested I try the ulta automatic liner because it was on sale for $1. I'm glad I bought one, because I have been using revlon eyeliner forever and I feel like the Ulta eyeliner is comparable, but it definitely beats out Revlon when Ulta puts it on sale for a dollar! It smudges less on the bottom of my eyes than the Revlon liner does. I'm going to go back and get more before the sale ends.

Best eyeliner, for sure. I personally have tested over 6 different kinds of eyeliner, and with the exception of the Urban Decay 24/7, they all smudged. However, since the 24/7 pencil was a bit on the expensive side I decided to look for a cheaper option. Luckily, I found this eyeliner, and for only $7...plus, since Ulta was having a buy one get one free sale I got two eyeliners for $7! Great deal.
It's sort of waterproof. After swimming for 2 hours and taking a shower, the eyeliner somewhat stayed on. It ended up being a bit smudgy though, but nothing too obvious.
The color goes on really dark, so no need to reapply...it also stays on very well. It's also easy to remove.
One thing I don't like is how it doesn't have a built in sharpener...but since I have an automatic eyeliner sharpener, it doesn't bother me THAT much.
EDIT: Well, it's been about three weeks and I've been using this eyeliner everyday. I realized it was impossible to sharpen it, and as a result no color would show up when I literally dragged it under my eye. I had to reapply several times. However, the waterproof-ness was nice and stayed on throughout hours of swimming practice. I paid $7 for two of these, but next time I'll wait for the $1 sale.
Edit again!: I changed it back to five stars. I realized no color was showing up because I don't cap my automatic eyeliners -_- now that I have started to cap it, it's very creamy and stays. One complaint though...for me, the staying power is good unless I apply it then wash my face. Then the liner stays on and doesn't smudge. It's worth it though.

I have a number of black pencil eyeliners, and they all have a slightly different shade, tone or texture. I like this Ulta one. It is reliable, doesn't smudge, though, like all my eyeliners, it will fade and I will have to reapply. I tend to reach for either this one or my Urban Decay liner in Zero.
Edit: I've given up on this eyeliner because I reach for either Urban Decay or Sephora. This still smudges when I'm having oily or teary days, and it's not good. Took away a lippie.

Amazing eyeliner!
I read about it on a blog and just had to try it, as the blogger said its comparable to Revlons Colorstay, which has been my eyeliner for months.
The eyeliner is pigmented, a very intense creamy black, glides onto without tugging, waterproof, and long lasting- maybe even better than Revlons.
However, it smudges a teeny bit, hard to find (UK doesnt have Ulta stores) and even though its an auto pencil, it doesnt have a built in sharpener
