This is the best powder I've used. It mattifies my skin and it stays on for a long time. Even though the color is transparent, it has a slight yellow tint to it, so if you use too much powder you're face will look a little yellow.... It also gives extra coverage.
If you cake it on it doesn't look natural but if you use it just a little, it doesn't look fake.
This powder works well for me! :)

This really keeps me matte. Not all day, but enough to notice that this helps with oiliness.
This sets my concealer very well and gives my face a brighter look.
I use a matte foundation so I dont put this over it daily, but I use this powder when im only wearing sunscreen and/or concealer.
I know the packaging is not the most secure thing on earth, but I dont have a problem with it.
Just keep it in a small flat pocket (?) inside your purse instead of your loose makeup bag.

I love this Powder! I have been looking for a matte powder for a while, I have seen this product being talked about. I have oily-combo skin and this powder and controls the oil on my face very well. For the price and drugstore product is VERY excellent! The only thing is the packaging is easy for the lid to fall out and could of been better quality of packaging overall.

I know I'm in the minority here but I gotta be honest...I'm not at all fond of this product. I know the packaging is an obvious negative, but I was willing to put up with it for the great price. My issue with the powder is that it seems extremely visible on my skin, even in the translucent shade. I like my skin to look very natural, but even using a light hand this powder made me look like I was wearing too much makeup. I may try to finish the one I have, but would NOT repurchase in the future.

PS - If you are looking for a drugstore powder with a more natural finish, I am really enjoying Revlon nearly naked.

If you tend to get oily skin within just hours after applying your makeup, this transparent powder is a must! Your face actually stays matte and non-shinny for hours! Although Rimmel sells this powder in different shades, I recommend the transparent powder. MUST BUY!

I loved the way this foundation worked with my liquid foundation, it covered perfectly, didn't get cakey or dry my skin out, and it lasted throughout the whole day. The lid is annoying but you can't beat the price (6$ Canadian) I used this powder with my rimmel London liquid foundation for about a week until I noticed my forehead break out with little red bumps and around on my chin. I was disappointed because it was so cheap and worked so well. I tried the powder alone to see if it was just the liquid but the powder did the same. I will not be repurchasing sadly.

I love it! This is definitely my nr 1 recommendation in summer! I used this and my clinique city block for the whole summer and it felt so good. :D It does control a lot of oil and shine things and it's not caky at all. :) And it's sooooooo cheap. I will buy it again for sure.

This is my HG setting powder then I finish with a setting spray.I must have bought this 5 times already. I bought other kinds but seems to keep coming back to this, so I decided that I'll stop wasting money and stick to what I love, what works and does what it says it's going to do. It leaves a perfect mate finish and is great for touch ups through out the day for that oily T-zone time lol . The only thing is that the packaging is huge but I guess that's a good thing for the price.Love it!

This is a dependable, cheap powder that has not caked up on me or given me any problems. I've owned expensive powders in the past, and they don't do much for me that justifies spending more than the $6 I spend for this powder. I've used it with MUFE F&B foundation, and it works very nicely together. Basically, this powder has worked with all my foundations and concealers. It doesn't last long, but no powder does unless it's primed with a spray. I'll definitely buy this again. Oh, the packaging is flimsy but at least it's not pretentious: it's a plastic disc of powder, with a crappy clear plastic top. Basic but my go to powder to absorb breakthrough oil and dilute super pigmented blushes!

This inexpensive powder is surprisingly good. The texture is nice and it is mostly transparent, leaving your skin blotted and fresh looking. My one complaint is the packaging as the lid will not stay on and so I would not buy it with the intention of throwing it in your makeup bad or purse. Worth a try for the money.

This powder is so good! I like it because it's cheap, natural looking and effective.
I don't have really oily scin, sometimes I can get a little shiny on my forhead and my nose. But I also use this to set my makeup, and it has a really porcelainy finish!

Love it, and this is probably a powder I will for years!!

I can never really find a matte, portable powder to keep my acne-prone skin from being oily without caking up. I picked this up the night before a Disney day with my friends, and it works a dream!
My skin currently is super oily, pretty hormonal, and a bit red. I blot every two-three hours, but I like to follow up with powder when I can. Everything else I've used in the past (NYC, CG, Maybelline) made me VERY cakey VERY fast. I have the Tarte Micronizing Finishing Powder at home, but...that's at HOME. No way am I taking something that pricey around with me day to day.
I have the lightest shade in this powder. Let me now explain--I have a light-medium, olive-yellow Indian skintone. I was never matched up successfully to MAC, but I wear Nars Sheer Matte in Fiji if that helps. I'm in that category where I sort of look darker than the makeup most people would choose for me (i.e. I LOOK like a Sand, Buff, Nude etc. but I tend to be more of the Beige or Light Bisque category.)
I chose the sheerest shade because, well, it said "transparent". And that seemed the safest bet! It shockingly, actually does cut down on my oil, without oxidizing, getting caked up, or looking ashy. I think the key is the transparency--it blends very well with my already heavy makeup (primer, full coverage concealer, foundation, matte powder, setting spray--I swear when my skin calms down and my dark spots lighten up more, I will be so happy). I can apply it MULTIPLE times a day without looking like I did.
The packaging? BLOWS. I keep it in a clear zippered makeup bag, so the lid doesn't twist off. IMO I think that's the best way to go, as I also carry lens-rewetting drops, lipstick, blotting sheets, hair pins... I also keep a cheapo powder brush in my bag to use with this. Mine's from some long-lost Forever 21 kit I got for free with a purchase. Anything fluffy will do.
I will say that I ALWAYS blot excess oil away before putting this on, be it with an oil-absorbing sheet or one-ply tissue paper. I think that's the key to getting it to really work.
I do find the color selection to be kind of limited and not very true-to-pan, so this is kind of a hit-and-miss product, which is a shame as I believe it's quite good for a DS powder.

Any questions, feel free to PM me! :)

Honestly, this Stay Matte powder is nothing to do cartwheels over. I have tried many application methods but I cannot seem to get this to work for me. My initial problem was that Transparent shade lightened my skin tone and made me look sick, but now I can see even with the lightest application my skin just looks powdery and unnatural. Worst of all, it does not even do it's purpose of keeping me matte. I expect to reapply throughout the day but with this powder oil shows back up within 45 minutes! There are way better drugstore powders out there that aren't this big of a hassle in my opinion. I will keep this in my collection because I hate to waste, and hopefully try to use it up but I will never repurchase.

This is one of the powders I use everyday, the second one to be exact. Just a few swirls for the forehead and then a few for the cheeks and then a little more for nose and chin.
The longevity is fairly good and keeps my dry skin looking matte (even dry skin can get shiny after hours of foundation etc)!
The powder is nice and light weight and doesn't smell bad or strong.
The only downside is the packaging...mainly the lid which is ok but sometimes doesn't go on well. Also it isn't travel friendly.
But that's it for negatives! Would rebuy for sure!

Helps oily skin stay matte. Not too pricey. If you use to much it tends to look cakey. A little works perfectly.

It makes my skin look like porcelein. It helps control oil all day, and makes my pores dissapear. I highly reccomend this, espically if you have very pale skin like I do. Love it!

This product keeps you matte from morning to night time with few touch-ups. No complaints about the powder besides the packaging which is very cheap feeling and annoying. Great price for a great powder.

BAD PACKAGING! Lid does not stay on! Does what It claims though. Works well at keeping shine at bay.
(However I prefer the powders by Ben Nye for around the same price)
