Went in the trash the first week I owned it. Terrible product.

I personally like the smell and the packaging is pretty unique. It's smells like honey (duh) and so sweet to the point of artificiality. I like how it's rubberized and egg-shaped so that it's easy to hold and I'd noticed if it fell out of my bag. The first time I put this on my lips, I was pleased with how easily it glided on my lips and how moisturizing it was. However, I learned that, as time went on and I made a flat dent in the thing, the moisturizing benefits were lost during the day.
At night, after I brush my teeth, I smother this on and go to bed, waking up with soft and moisturized lips. Then I go about my morning, arriving at school and smacking this on, after I brush my teeth, before I go to my first class. Even before lunch, my lips loose the moisture and feel chapped to the point where I bite the dry skin on my lips (it's a bad habit)--which is why I give this overrated product a 3/5. It's a good thing I reviewed it after testing it out for a period of time rather than reviewing it right away, or else the review would have sounded much more different.

I saw so much raving about this product on youtube that i decided to actually try it. Dissapointed. It didn't moisturize my lips at all, for about two minutes my lips felt soft and smooth, but it was only because there was lipbalm on them, which wouldn't absorb. After about five minutes the lipbalm was completely gone and my lips felt as though i never even applied balm. Definently not worth the price, since it is rather expensive where i live, and would definently not repurchase.

Poor product quality. This is cute, it's shaped like an egg, and for packaging I'd give it a 5/5. As an actual functioning lip balm though, I'd give it 2/5 because this doesn't really moisturize at all.

It pains me to write this review. I wanted to love this product sooo badly. It smells and tastes AMAZING, and it's probably the cutest lip product I've ever seen. (My dog thought so too - she climbed on my bed and chewed up the one on my nightstand). Unfortunately, I just found that it wasn't really all that moisturizing. It was too waxy, and basically wore off of my lips without softening them at all. Every time I see an EOS product in the store, I think that I want to buy one...and then I stop myself. This might be an okay lip balm for preventing wind burn or "moisture evaporation," but I would really only use it if my lips were already completely smooth and soft. I may buy one of the holiday flavors (just because they look like they smell sooo good), but I wouldn't buy one for its lip balm properties.

This lip balm is amazing, and I absolutely love the scent and color of the packaging! (Honeydew melon green is my favorite color!) The packaging is so original, and I like it a lot more than the tube-style lip balms, because I tend to lose those a lot more than EOS. The balm itself works great. It really hydrates my lips and the nice scent makes it that much more pleasant than say, cherry chapstick. Also, when I catch a cold and I'm constantly blowing my nose, I get the dry upper lip, which is the worst part of a cold for me. I recently got sick, and I used EOS on my lips, and it worked a lot better than other brands I've used. This is the best lip balm I've ever tried, and the fact that it's organic makes it even better. The price is great too.

the packaging won me, into buying this cute lip balm. but it was disappointing, the smell was nice at first but i got tired of the honey dew smell after awhile..
as for nourishing the lips.. didn't really do much for me, just an okay lip balm; much prefer burt's bees with mango butter - which i cant find anymore :(
anyways bottom line i wont be buying this again

This product is not bad, but honestly I wouldn't buy this again. The reason why is because I don't exactly like the smell of this specific EOS balm just because whenever I smell it or put it onto my lips, it tends to make me a little bit nauseated which bothers me sometimes. Then the feeling goes away.

I bought this for novelty...and because it was hyped extensively on the internet and Youtube. First of all, I love the scent. It's pleasantly strong and smells just like these Japanese melon candies (the gummy chewy kind) that I've loved since I was a kid: fruity, slightly artificial, and sweet.
I do think this product is over-hyped. Did it work? Yes. Does it have cute packaging (that actually makes it impossible to stick in your pocket without looking really weird)? Yes. But does it perform miracles, save the world, make me want to run out and buy all the flavors? No. I find the sphere shape kind of awkward to use on my lips, and to be honest, if my lips were chapped/peeling already, I don't think this would help at all without going in with some exfoliating scrub first. On the bright side, it doesn't leave my lips with a white cast or waxy film, and works as an everyday preventative treatment. I can't say I'd buy another though. I'll get my honeydew fix next time I go to the Asian market.

This one was my favorite out of them all! I have tried the Summer Fruit, Lemon Drop, Sweet mint and Strawberry Sorbet and this one definitely is the best for me scent wise and conditioning too. I like it because some lip glosses and balms have heavy scents and gross odors and feel like I smothered a layer of bacon fat on them. But this one has a light refreshing scent and worked well on my lips. I do reapply often but I have very dry lips and I prefer to use a more heavy duty lip balm for night time so it won't wear off. Overall though I think they are great for the day time to keep in your purse, desk or backpack.

Ahhhh love, love, love! Smells amazing and really hydrates my lips
(Like all the other eos lip balms!) A 3 for packaging because I probably got a bad batch and it doesn't close correctly, the indentations don't line up. Whatever, I love it!

I did not give this product a five because after all the hype on youtube I was so exited I ordered from America to Australia. The shipping cost more than the product which is why I said it was (fairly) expensive. Although the packaging is great and the scent is amazing, I found my lips craving more. I missed the almost wet feeling on my lips that lipgloss gives you. I still love this product and will reorder it. I am very excited to test the rest of the flavours (all of them except Medicated Tangerine) I rated this product 4 stars overall, Price 3, Packaging 5 and yes I will buy it again.

The Eos lipbalms seem to be recieving tons of hype. I can see why- they're so cute! I keep one on my dresser to apply when I leave for school and when I come home. I don't keep one in my makeup bag because it's really bulky, and I try to keep my makeup bag as empty as possible. I like this a lot, and I wasn't expecting to. It 'quenches' my lips and leaves them feeling really mouisturized, but never sticky. I like these lipbalms a lot, but have other scents I prefer, so I wouldn't repurchase this one.

After watching YouTube videos countlessly and hearing all things positive about EOS - I sort of caved in to see the fuss. Upon applying, my lips became dry and rough. There is not enough moisture for my taste and I'm sure for others because that is what EOS is all about: moisture and hydration. Also, the "honey suckle" flavour is very, very subtle so don't hold your breath!
UPDATE: I misjudged this product as it is now very hydrating and moisturizing. I believe I had to "break it in" so the product could actually start to work. I am not sure if I would repurchase, but it is worth a try.

I first didn't like this lip balm as it was hard, and the product was difficult to apply on my lips. I started to scrape off a little bit of the product and then evenly smoothing it on my lips with my fingers ended up working really well. It doesn't make my lips feel waxy or greasy and helps to apply lip liners or lipsticks on much easier. The packaging is cute but can't really clean it once it gets dirty from being at the bottom of my purse or makeup bag. I don't love this lip balm as there are probably better ones out there to keep on trying.

I had purchased this along with the hand lotion and the first thing that got me when I opened it up was the smell. The Honeysuckle Honeydew smell was really yummy, it wasn't too overpowering. Then the packaging was adorable. It wasn't sticky and glided on my lips with ease. So I was really happy with it...for about four days. As I used it more and more, I realized I needed to keep on reapplying it often. I figured it was partly because I loved the way it smelled, but I soon realized it wasn't moisturizing my lips well. It started to actually dry them out more. I really wanted to like this balm because of how wonderful it smells and how cute the packaging is, it feels nice on your lips but does not help moisturize them at all. This balm only helps retain whatever moisture you have in your lips but does not add any. So overall I will not be purchasing this again, cause I really need a nourishing and moisturizing lip balm.

i confess. i got this primarily because of the packaging. and i have reason to love how it is! the roundness makes it so much easier to find in my bag; the smoothness (the brand is all about smoothness after all) of it makes it work as a stress ball for me as well; the big dome-shaped balm makes it so easy to apply on the lips even both lips at the same time (if you want!).
now to the actual product. to start off, it doesn't taste bad, but the scent is such a letdown. i asked my husband to get it for me so i wasn't able to smell and choose. this particular one in honeysuckle/honeydew smells too plasticky for me. it reminds me of the scent they use on pretty plastic erasers i used back when i was in grade school--so it's totally off-putting! my little girls (aged7,5,2) love the smell though and they've tried using it without any reaction or problem.
whether or not it moisturizes, i would have to say it does superficially. i feel that the product sinks little in to your lips and instead most of it stays on top. although i would say it works just the same way blistex lip tone does.
i would not buy this particular scent/flavor again but will smell and choose the next time. i find that i'm speeding up the use of this (i use it now for my hands and elbows) to justify getting another scent!

Hmm honeydew, for me it taste more like vanilla. For those who like vanilla will love this, not for me tho. Not very moisture, but it taste and smell good ( only if you're a vanilla lover)
