I don't like this at all. I bought the magix face perfector(which I love) and this in a "2 for £10" deal. unlike the untinted version this clumps. the lightest shade is an alright match but you have to buff it in so much it gives practically no coverage. I have smallish pores but this highlights them and they end up looking huge.Once you've done all that work to smooth it in it ends up looking like your wearing makeup. Smells wierd too.

I first bought this a couple of weeks ago at a local Avon store. I'm not even sure what I was in there for since I dont normally buy Avon products but this and the regular primer were on sale so I picked them up for under $15. I figured at that price I could always use another primer and the tinted version might be a an ok fill in for days that I'm in a hurry. While I probably wouldn't use this for a special event I found that this and some translucent powder are great for everyday. It's fast, controls shine fairly well and the color blends away into your skin. Great for light coverage and a polished look. If I need more coverage in a pinch I can easily blend some mineral powder over it and be out the door. My only complaints are that it does seem to dry out a bit and become a little more difficult to blend after a week or so but not enough to make a difference in use. My other gripe is that the compact is huge and a bit of a bag hog. The mirror is nice and I like that the sponge is separate from the makeup but I'm not sure it all had to be so large.

**Update**
After using this off and on for a couple of months I had to take a lippie off. For whatever reason this no longer has any staying power for me and is doing nothing to control shine. It looks nice initially and I'll still throw it on for a quick trip to the grocery store or something but as a primer it just doesn't seem to be working that well anymore. Perhaps my skin has changed with the season who knows?

Love this! It has an awful smell but it's a great primer! I don't have to blot midday and I also use way less foundation. All my makeup stays fresh...eyeshadow and blush too.

I really like this :)
Did not think it would be great but I was surprised, got this as it was on offer and wanted to try it against my smashbox primer.
Compared to this, my smashbox primer is really greasy!! which is good as I have dry skin (Which i have mentioned now in every single review nearly haha) but this is good also :)
Very cheap - easy to use, doesnt smell too nice but I would buy again!
I wear this under my foundation as a base and to smooth out my face xx

I'm going to be the one that has to dislike this product. Figures. First, I have very oily skin. This doesn't even come CLOSE to lasting even a few hours on my face. The regular Magix is a VERY good product and really helps my makeup stay. This one does not perform the same way. It just melts and slips away from my skin, taking my makeup with it. I use it the way I would use the regular product, over my serum, under my makeup (Clinique Almost Powder). When I first apply it, it looks nice, and makes my skin look smooth. Two hours later, it's gone.

Oh, my new HG primer! I just got this last week and have been testing it out. I still wear my Monistat primer underneath so far. Even when I was outside taking long walks in 85 degree heat with humidity and sweating up a storm, it didn't melt off which was pretty amazing! I also use Smashbox Halo powder mineral foundation which doesn't give me enough coverage. I was using Laura Mercier's TM under the Halo, but I'll be switching to this. Absolutely love it. I wear it in Light and it blends smoothly and has a really nice texture.

I love this product so much, I ordered two shades back to back. I first got the med. since I had no tan yet, and also got the med/deep for the tanned months ahead. I love them both. I find myself reaching for this one everyday now instead of my other foundations that I also love. This one is just easier to use and takes less time to get the same coverage. I really love the fact that the primer is already in this mix! It really does do a good job on making wrinkles less visible and making my skin look flawless. Sometimes I use a light veil over the top if I have time just because I am use to doing that, but it is really not needed. This stuff is perfect for these really warm summer days when heavy foundation of any sort is just not so desirable.
UpDate:
I found this product dries out to a crumbly texture if left in the compact for any length of time. I must admit I had used the middle of it down to where I can see the pan. I went to use it the other day to discover when I sweeped across my face with it, it did not blend at all, but rather left little Magix ballz all over my skin! I had to wipe them off with a tissue but felt my skin was now dirty. Perhaps if I had used a damp foundation brush this would have not been a problem, but.... it disappointed me. The clear tube of magix is way better as it has not dried out. So just a hint, best use it up fast, or else ask for a replacement. I have about half left in this one, and I am thinking of getting a new one. Unsure if I want the tinted one again however as it will do the same thing as soon as I leave it for a month and go on to using my Smashbox primer for whatever mood hits me.

MAGIX TINTED FACE PERFECTOR feels lovely on application; it’s so smooth and it evens out your skin tone, removing shine for a matt finish. The colour covers less then foundation, but more then tinted moisturizer does on me. It’s long lasting as well, so I don’t need to bother carting round my make up bag for touch ups.

I’m also impressed by the colour match. I’m n15 in summer and n10 in winter and when I’m tired/sick, so I find Avon’s liquid and mousse foundations way too dark. But ‘Fair’ blends in perfectly.

I bought medium as well. It does have light coverage, about the same as any tinted moisture... The texture is it's best quality. Smooth, but semi-matte. Keeps shine away, and gives skin a little color to look good naturally. I think this would be great for a natural girl who wants some coverage. If you have blemishes, or red skin you will still need to conceal. My skin looks like skin, only better. I would rather use this than any mineral powder. The compact looks deep enough, so it should last awhile even with every day use. I think this is going to be a Summer staple for me.

This is great stuff! I just brought it today. I was unsure because as most stuff like bronzers or foundations they never really work from avon but they hit it on the nail for this one (hate the package though it so bulky).....................now the question is how long is this one going to last they are forever taking away my beloved products it like they know or something :/

I got this in medium and I like it very much. I also love the original untinted Magix. I like that this is in a mirrored compact and I like the light coverage as well. I still use the untinted Magix also. I love both and will repuchase both.

It is so refreshing to come across a product that actually does everything it claims to do. I was skeptical at first as I have fallen for the "it will make your skin look perfect" claim before, and have always been disappointed. I watched my skin transform before my eyes. My pores and fine lines literally disappeared! The spf is an added bonus as is the price. It will not cover major imperfections as it is sheer and lightweight but it certainly does everything else and does it well. It is truly a magical product and I will never be without it.

I own this in Medium. I was really excited to try it after all of the raves I've heard for the original un-tinted version. I'm NC35 and I guess this color works for me, but it's so sheer it almost doesn't matter which color you get, IMO.

PROS: Smooth feel.

CONS: Does nothing in terms of coverage. Very slightly accentuates pores. Bulky packaging.

I will not be repurchasing :(

I wanted to love this, I really did. I have not even thought about other primers since Avon came out with MagiX, and when I saw the tinted versions, I had to have it. I didn't expect miracles or lots of coverage, but I did think it would be close to Benefit's "foundation faker", which I like a lot. Unfortunately, it did not work for me at all. I am in between the two lightest shades, which shouldn't be a big concern since this is a super-sheer product, but seeing that the product actually puddles in my average-size pores and accentuates them, I had to send it back. I have heard of others who love it, but it is just not right for me. I'll stick with the clear version in the tube.

I recently purchased the Avon Magix Tinted Face Perfector in Medium/Deep and I am in love. I have been lusting after Benefit's "Some Kind of Gorgeous" and SSC Pixel Foundation which are similar, but, I am so glad that I waited and purchased this product at a fraction of the cost of the others. It is a dreamy, cream to powder foundation. The coverage is very sheer and I do need a concealor on my problem areas, but, the finish is velvety smooth and soft. It really blurs minor imperfections such as pores and lines. It does not, however, cover up major, problems. I need a concealor for that job. But, I am so pleased with this product. It is supposed to last 8 hours, but, I don't think that it lasts that long. At least not on me. But, I am going to carry the compact in my purse for touch-ups. It is just wonderful product with a beautiful finish and so very, reasonable.
