I got this in light/medium and after two weeks of religious use, I didn't notice any changes in my skin color. My skin is naturally very pale so any shade changes are visible right away!! Well, just like others mentioned, it could be because I exfoliate my skin every day. So I can't build up the color. I would not repurchase this again in light/medium shade, but I just purchased it in medium/deep (due to rave reviews) and I'll see if that makes a difference... will update in a few weeks....
Otherwise, a great moisturizer and the SPF 20 is a BIG plus.
EDIT: Yes, I love this tanner in medium/deep! It gives me a much better color than the lighter version. I still wish it was a bit more darker because even with two/day application, I feel like I'm not dark enough. But the great smell, SPF 20, and great moisture make up for that!!!! My new favorite sunless tanner. Thank you Jergens.

I do like this product. I doesn't really tan me but it keeps my skin from being so yucky pale in the winter time. I get so white and I just think it helps me keep my summer color all year round. Note I do not sun tan so never get dark or anything in the summer. Gives me that healthy glow :)

It tends to break me out, and I don't notice a change in my color like I used to, which is sad, because my body is tan, and when I use this, I'm still white as white. Awkward!

I have been using this product for a few years during the winter months and have been happy with the results in the past, however, I noticed the product does not tan me like it has in the previous years. I use the medium to tan skin tone. Has this product changed it's formula? If so, I will not purchase it again as it did nothing for me this year. Very disappointed.

I've been using this self tanner in medium/dark for over a year now but I never left a review and I don't know why. This is a really good daily moisturizer with self-tanner. I have oily, acne prone skin and this doesn't break me out which is a huge feat in itself. I love that it's not sticky, I found most self tanners/moisturizers w/tanners are always too sticky and they all seem to have that self-tanner stink to it. Not this one. It does have the slightest self-tanner scent but not bad and it fades quickly. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and moisturized, not sticky at all. And of course, the best part is the color. It gives a nice, believable tan that actually shows up on my skin if I'm consistent with it and use this daily. A lot of self-tanners don't show up on my medium skin and even though it's not dark or even that noticeable, I'm impressed that this shows up at all. It leaves a light tan that works with my olive toned complexion. I stopped using makeup on my skin because I find I get less breakouts that way but without makeup my skin looks a little pale so this is a good alternative. I can still get away with not wearing foundation without having to look like a ghost.
Note: Since I love this for the face, I tried the one for the body a while ago. It was completely different! I don't know why but the body version was sticky, reeked of self-tanner and didn't dry well. I'm considering trying it once more, maybe their formula improved.

I use this so I can continue to keep my tan. It works nicely for a tiny bit. I haven't seen a huge difference but that's probably because i don't use it continue as i should have. I like that it has spf 20 but smells like coconut. It warms up my face since when i wake up to cleanse my face it gets really pale. I've been using this product since september and its november now i still have my tan

Great product. Soaks in fast, doesn't break me out. It smells a bit like sunscreen but fades very fast. You get a lot for the price.

My only qualm is the colour. I use SA every night, but I cannot build up the colour. I layer it during the day but it just doesn't work. Then using a SA night cream, I'm back at square one the next day.
I love the colour it makes my skin, a very natural tan not yellow or orange. I just wish I could get it more dramatic (and I'm extremely pale). I did buy the one for fair tones so I may purchase the one for dark skin tones.
I would buy again, even without the self-tanning properties, it's a great daily moisturizer with spf.

I took a chance on the Medium-Dark formulation hoping to have some nice dramatic bronze results, but I really haven't seen much of a discernable difference in my skin tone. Not sure if this is a. due to my religious use of salicylic acid b. something to do with wearing make up over it or c. due to my application, but I will say that it's given me no skin problems, soaks in nicely, and I needed the spf anyway. However, I have pretty light skin so I'm confused as to why it's not working for me.

I've been using this for about a month and have to say I'm quite happy. I'm 47 and when I look at women my age who are really really tan, to me it makes them look older, this just gives me the perfect amount of a natural looking light tan.

I bought the one for fair to medium skin tones as I'm blonde with fair/medium skin and pink undertones. It doesn't go on greasy at all and it absorbs nicely. The little color it does give me looks natural like I've gotten a little sun. I love that it's spf 20 but doesn't really smell too much like sunscreen or other self-tanners, I mean it does have a hint, but doesn't linger.

The price is right, so unless I find something better I will purchase again.

I actually loved this more than the body tanner. This is a great moisturizer and SPF for the face. I love it! It gives you a gradual tan while protecting you from the sun's damages. It did not give me any irritation for my dry/normal/sensitive face.

I have used this for about 4 days now and I am extremely impressed. I didn't want to get really tan with this lotion, just get a smudge of color so I bought the fair to medium version. Immediately on applying it I was impressed. It was a very nice light moisturizer for my normal to oily skin, leaving it smooth without feeling at all greasy. After 2-3 days a nice natural looking color has developed. It has a nice side effect of evening out the imperfections in my skin. This is one of the best products I have bought in a long while, and a great bargain at around $8.

I was not impressed with this at all. I have fair skin with pink undertones to begin with and after using this in the shade medium-tan, it turned me orange, like an oompah loompah. It's that bad. I might have chosen too dark of a shade though. It gives an uneven color to my face with splotches everywhere. I did follow the rules of exfoliating my face beforehand and blending the lotion well into my face. I would definately not recommend this to anyone.

I thought I was in love with this moisturizer/tanner until about 5 days into it......I developed an allergic reaction. Now I have a rash that looks like severe acne all over both cheeks and down one side of my neck. I have never been so depressed. Today is day 3 of the rash and had to go to the derm and he gave me a prescription for desonate, a corticosteroid gel I have to put on my face twice a day. I just hope that the desonate doesn't cause real acne while trying to clear up my acne looking rash. I don't know if it was something in the SPF that made me break out but I have never had this problem until now, and this was the only product that was newly introduced into my regimen. To think, all of this heartache to get a little "healthy" tan on my face. After researching this on the net I found that quite a few other people had this problem and most say they are not sensitive and have never had a reaction before. Beware!

Like others, I also use the regular Natural Glow for body in Medium-Tan ("Revitalizing" formula is my fave), and both products work wonderful for giving an even, naturally tanned color all over. You get at least a shade darker with just one application- I swap the Healthy Complextion out with my regular moisterizer every other day, and after exfoliating to keep up my color. My skin looks SOOO much better overall when I use this- just healthier and more even toned. It also improves the way my makeup looks, and cuts down on the amount of bronzer I use. The formula is light, sinks in & dries quickly to matte- works great under makeup & I've had no breakouts. Packaging is ideal- squeeze tubes beat out jars any day in my opinion. The smell is somewhat like the body lotion, a touch of that self tanner scent, but I don't think it's too much or overpowering in any way- smell fades a few minutes after applying. I also like that it has SPF for daytime wear. I've repurchased this several times & will continue to do so. It's def a staple in my cabinet.

As a facial sunscreen I like this product. I use it on my face and neck. It doesn't break out my skin or irritate my eyes when my face starts to sweat a little. It smooths on easily enough and doesn't leave me with shiny skin. I didn't notice much of a "healthy glow" after using it everyday for a week. (I purchased Med-Tan.) It could be because I use a Clarisonic regularly and that undid any of the self-tanning feature. It's not a big deal as I can always get my "healthy glow" from a bronzer if needed.

I do like this as a moisturizer and a self tanner. It gives even color and doesn't make me greasy. It goes on and blends in easily too. I only exfoliate my face once a week, so it doesn't fade as quickly as those that exfoliate every day or use acne products. This is meant to be applied directly to skin without anything else under it so that the tanning chemical can react with your skin. That's what gives you the tan. I wish that it didn't have SPF bc I usually put my tanning stuff on at night. That being said, it is a good daily moisturizer and my skin does well with it.

got this obv because i had the body one and wanted to have a flawless whole body tan. i'm scared to use this at night because i tend to sleep on either side of my face and i don't want it to rub off and wake up in the morning with one side tan and the other.. well yeah haha it might sound silly but it has happen before which is sad. i'm going to try again though but let it dry longer like 2-3 hours before i go to bed to make sure. i sometimes use this on during the day but my skin gets oily and i'm scared to rub it off etc etc. after just using it for one day though, i get a nice tan on my face which is good for me. i might have to use this everyday though because when i wash with an apricot scrub, it seems to take off that tan and i have to start over again haha maybe it's just me. (using the medium-tan and i have fair skin) also i don't see this anywhere anymore which is weird and i went into shoppers drug mart (canadian store) to ask if they have any and someone told me it has been discontinued which is sad cause i do want a flawless looking tan. still going to look around, i got the 70mL bottle and it's not even half done so i hope it lasts til summer!

I don't love this as much as I love the one for my body. I only use it so that I won't have a dark body and white face on the weekends when I'm not wearing my tinted moisturizer, foundation and bronzing powder. I find it a little too dark for my face if I use it every day, besides I prefer the look of my Elizabeth Arden tinted moisturizer under my makeup for daily use. I'm afraid that if I wear this one under my foundation I may end up putting too much in one spot and then a couple of hours at work it will look horrible. I also find that it's not as natural looking as the body one so I can only use it twice a week, and for some reason it doesn't seem to go on as evenly as the body one. I think it's because I have the firming lotion for the body and after rubbing it in for a bit it starts to get a tight feeling so you know it's blended evenly in the skin whereas with this one I don't think I'm putting it on evenly or thinly enough. But as long as I'm using Jergens for my body, I will continue to use this. I think it might be nice if they came out with a firming one for the face as well and that is formulated to be used as a night moisturizer, since that is when I always use it.

I really like the natural color this product gives. it doesn't make your face look orange or streaky. however, it takes a long time to build color up. i guess its because every time i wash my face, i exfoliate it with a towel but that is just how I wash my face. I can't say the same for somebody who does not exfoliate their face daily. maybe the color builds faster. however, I'm satisfied with this product because it does not break me out and I would only apply it at night because it makes my face look really oily.

I'm not that impressed with this product. I mean it's pretty good, I just wish it was better. This product really does not last like it should. Maybe it's because I use a lot of acne products and face scrubs, but still, this product lasts one wash of the face. Although it lasts really badly, it does give me a nice one day face tan that looks natural. I do reapply it every night, so I guess I can live with the fact that it only lasts one wash, It's just that I wish I could actually build my complexion, except for I can't since it only lats one wash...sigh...oh well...I will repurchase until I find better.

EDIT:

ok so I found out i was using this lotion wrong. i was putting in on right after using other lotions, so the effects weren't very noticeable. Now it does just the opposite. It gave me a very very nice face tan...for 1 day. Then I used an acne scrub on my face and it came off in FLAKES. Like, I had parts of my face that were white, and parts that were orangey tan. Terrible product for me, might work for somebody else though. Maybe my face is just dry.
