While it's true that this lip gloss is very sheer and the color is dupeable, I don't agree that it's a waste of money, at least not for me. Most glosses and lipsticks I own are pale nudes. I own Revlon's peach petal, which many people have listed at a dupe for this. Whenever I put that gloss on top of a nude lipstick, it separates and eats away at whatever is underneath it, as is the same with Nars Striptease, my UD pocket rocket, and all my other nude glosses. Some ingredient in those glosses tends to break down the lipstick, I don't know. Boy Bait doesn't do that. I can actually wear lip gloss over my nude lipsticks now! It's pricey, but until I find a dupe that wears this well, I'm happy with it.

This is my favourite MAC lipgloss. It's a pinky nude gloss with sheerer colour. It can be sticky but for how great it looks I really don't mind! One of the best things about this lipgloss is that is looks great overtop of lipstick and on its own. My only complaint is the packaging. When you are nearing the end of the tube, its really difficult to get the rest of the product on the sides and at the bottom, even if there is quite a bit left. It's a bit pricey but worth it since I'm about to purchase my third tube!!

I love this tube of gloss. It's my go to for a nice nude lip with smoky eyes or if I just want a wash of shine on my lips. It's a bit sticky but nothing that's unbearable. I do find the applicator a bit flimsy but more so with the eariler bottles. The most recent one I picked up had a better applicator so maybe I just had a crappy one b4. Overall if you want a nice gloss that stays on pretty much for over 3 hours I say pick this up.

The perfect nudish pink gloss that looks good over many lipsticks. Not as thick and sticky as many of the other Mac glosses and still has the signature vanilla smell of all Mac lip products. Semi-sheer so this can be worn alone to slightly tone down my medium pigmented rosey pink lips if my eyes are more on the "heavy" side that day (which for me is putting eyeliner on the bottom waterline). Great staple lipgloss, would definitely repurchase over and over again.

I like MAC's Boy Bait Cremesheen. It gives me a natural sheer nude pink colour to my lips and the gloss feels comfortable on my lips without being too sticky unlike MAC's other lip gloss products such as lip glass. Also contains a little bit of silvery shimmer which is barely noticeable. I wear it on its own to give my lips a little colour or sometimes over a nude lipstick such as MAC's Viva Glam Gaga 2 if I need a more opaque nude. Unfortunately, this product really costs a lot. Packaging gives the impression of a lot more product than it actually contains.

This is a pale, peachy-pink gloss without shimmer. The cremesheen formula is nice in that it is not sticky, it's slightly creamy, and offers a bit of shine without a high-gloss finish.
This is quite sheer, so works best as an enhancing gloss or finishing layer to a lined lip with a nude or pink lip color. I find that it makes my thin lips look a bit bigger, which is a plus.
I love pairing this with Myself or Viva Glam GaGa lipsticks to enhance their colors.
If you're looking for a highly pigmented lip gloss, this isn't a good pick. But if you're looking for a subtle gloss for wear on its own or a nice topping for a lip color, this is a really nice purchase.

I love Boy Bait. It's one of my top go-to's when I can't decide what to wear.
The MAC Cremesheen lipglasses are my favorite lipglosses, I think... the formula is always so nice. They just glide on your lips, not too sticky, long lasting, amazing smell. Boy Bait is pretty sheer, it's a pinky nude and not all that pigmented. I like it for layering over pink or nude lipsticks, or even on its own it's nice. It's a good standard to have in your collection. Would repurchase.

I really really wanted to like this, and based on the reviews I thought I would love it. I thought it was a little too expensive, but I splurged anyway. It's not a bad lipgloss, just not quite what I was thinking. I was hoping it would be more opaque and nude, but it's actually almost the color of my lips and really appears to just enhance them, but nothing special.

I adore Cremesheen Glasses - if you're not familiar with them, they're very comfortable to wear, non-sticky, and they have the heavenly signature MAC scent. As for the Boy Bait shade - it's really a nude, and nothing more. It doesn't show up as any particular colour on my lips, just shine. I prefer the pinker Cremesheen Glasses, but a nude like this has its place in my stash as well.

Boy Bait is a really lovely nude gloss. It works well on its own, and I love it layered over peachy-nude lipsticks, like MAC Marquise 'd. It has a great consistency, and the right amount of shine. However, I will not be repurchasing Boy Bait, or any other cremesheen glass for that matter. These are currently priced at $18.50 USD for 0.09 oz., making the price per ounce a whopping $205.56. In comparison, the price per oz of a regular MAC lip glass is $85.29 ($14.50 for .17 oz.) I find this to be a ridiculously poor value from a brand like MAC, and would much rather spend my money on something like a Chanel glossimer, which would have a price per oz. of $150.00 ($28.50 for .19 oz.) Disappointing, because I do really like Boy Bait - just not enough that I would be willing to spend that much money on so little product.

I use this and the shade Fashion Whim (which is a little lighter and more beige & opaque) interchangeably every single day. These glosses are just amazing. Makes healthy lips look healthier, plumper and moisturized. Never discontinue, MAC!
UPDATE: my MAC MUA just told me this shade was being discontinued. So disappointing. Buy backups now if you love this!

I love MACs cremesheen glass! It's not as sticky as their tinted lipglass! I usually just wear this on its own! Recently though, I have applying this on top of my nude l/s(MAC Cherish) for more of a dramatic nude lip effect. I will definitely repurchase since it can go with so many looks!

I've consistently repurchased this since its release. Nice, creamy, moisturizing formula. Use over the top of just about any light shade. A favorite of mine.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE BOY BAIT! It is my go-to lipglass! My lips are pretty pigmented by themselves and this helps to neutralize the color when I'm going to a more dramatic or colorful eye look. It's also great to wear for everyday and for the workplace! The only downside for me is the sponge applicator - I would prefer the brush. Other than that, one of my Mac must-haves.

I bought this on a whim when I was browsing through the MAC store one day and I'm so glad that I picked it up. It's fast becoming my signature nudy lipgloss. It's such a pretty creamy milky color. Pictures really don't do think color any justice, I love the way it looks on. I like that the tube is substantial in weight and it's sleek length in the hand but I don't like that there's so little product in the bottle. Only a few swipes and most of the tube is done already and expensive too. But I'm such a huge sucker for this that I'ld probably end up buying again.

I love this lip gloss! This was my first cremesheen gloss and I think I'm sold! The color is perfection! It's a beautiful light nude pink gloss that has no shimmer, and it's sort of opaque. Most nude lip glosses or lipsticks make me look like a corpse, but not this and I have very pigmented lips. I purchased this a month ago and I've already used a quarter of the tube! This lip gloss looks gorgeous with many different eye looks because it's so neutral. I can definitely see myself repurchasing this one over and over again. I dont think I will ever be without this gloss!
For reference I'm NC20.

This is pretty much my HG lip gloss for every day wear.
Gorgeous creme pinked nude, no noticeable shimmer on my lips.
Creamy, glossy and light formula. Decent lasting power for a gloss, though not as long lasting as the normal Lipglass. Not tacky at all and has nice slip on the lips. Very wearable over lipsticks (I prefer to use Myth or Of Royalty). Lasts a decent amount of time considering how much I use it.
Will purchase as long as its around, definately an all-rounder product!

Nice, but nothing special or unique. Colour is a sheer pink-nude but on the lips it is very sheer. It is soft and smooth, smells like vanilla cupcake, and not sticky. BUT there are cheaper dupes for this that give the same effect - Revlon's new Peach Petal lipgloss is almost identical, and has more pigmentation. I'll use it cause I have it (MAC salesperson threw it into the kit when I asked for 'summer neutral makeup', but I won't be repurchasing it when it is used up. (I already have 5 that are similar or better lipglosses)!

Cremesheen Glass is the BEST lipgloss MAC has ever made! Been a fan of it since it was release as a limited product-- obviously I wasn't alone because they brought it back as part of their core products.
It's smooth, deeply pigmented and not sticky! I like to add a little clear gloss on top for extra shine and staying power. You have to ad this to your makeup bag- permanently! Boy Bait and Partial to Pink are the two best nudes int he line.

I wear this with a lot of my lipsticks or on its own. It's a nice neutral, milky-pink color. When I'm not wearing it alone; I sometimes use it to tone down dark lipsticks. Not sticky, it's pretty light. Will always keep one around. Cute!
