slippery and streaky. no staying power what-so-ever. disappointed, because i had heard so many wonderful things about nyx round lipsticks, now i'm a little discouraged to buy any more.

i love nude lipsticks, but this color is just tooooooo pale for my skintone. it comes out chalky on my lips. i always moisturize my lips before appying any lip product and this lipstick just made my lips look super dry when they're not. color definitely settles into lines. i tried covering it up with gloss, but it just didn't help.
def will not repurchase.

I really like this colour and I think it suits me better than Circe, the slight orange hue adds a bit of colour to my face.

I avoided buying this a long time because it looked SO orange in the tube. I finally got it (about $1.75 on sale so it's dirt cheap). This is an extremely pale peachy orange matte lipstick. It's a pale but bright lipstick so it's good for a nude lip-it's concealer lips but with some color. I wear it with a pale pink gloss on top to cut the brightness a little. It's basically NYX Iris without the frost. Iris is a little less bright too. When I wear very dark eyeshadow it's great to give me soft, glowy lips. I would not recommend this to people who can not pull off such extremely pale lips though, and it's definitely a "young" style. So if you are looking for a nude (and I mean pale nude/concealer) orange/peach, try it!

This was one lipstick color that I fell in love with when I saw swatches online. However, when I received it, it became one of those colors that I desperately wanted to get to work on me. And it wasn't easy figuring out how to get it to work. I wanted a more matte version of Pumpkin Pie and thought that this was it. But when I applied it on my pigmented lips, it looked like I needed to use a concealer under it. When I put the concealer on and then the lipstick, my lips looked too puffy and kinda pasty. I then decided to underplay it - use a neutral lipliner around the edges and then apply it with a light hand, as some reviewers here have suggested. The end result now looks like a more matte version of Pumpkin Pie - a creamy peach, a nice nude. It can also be worn with a neutral gloss on top; I added NYX's Mega Shine Gloss in Natural and it looked really good. So Orange Soda is a really pretty color - if you just take the time to learn how to apply it properly & if it goes well with your skin tone. For reference, I'm a C3/NC30.

This is the first NYX lipstick I tried. I picked it up because someone identified it as a good alternative to Lime Crime's Creamsicle, a colour I was curious about, and it is SO INEXPENSIVE.
The formula is really lovely, and so very creamy. It doesn't have the kind of staying power I like in a lipstick though, and while it's really opaque, it's incredibly streaky and I find it sort of hard to layer up because it's all slippery.
The colour is so, so wrong for me. I suppose that makes sense, but my god. I'm not really sure who it would look good on either, but it's still not a half-bad lipstick.

I agree with some people. It is so pale on my lips. But i use with nyx lip liner to tone it down and turn out so gorgeous. Dont put many layers, very thin layer would be enough. Can wear everyday..And the texture is very creamy. I'm gonna try out more nyx colours.

This is such a pretty, light nude colour with slight orange in it! It doesn't wash out my face at all like some other nude lipsticks can. And the orange pastel shade doesn't look like concealer on your lips. It may be a little too OTT if applied heavily so I blend it in a bit. Very creamy formula.

This is a very opaque, creamy matte light peach shade. It very much looks like that orange in the MAC Cremesheen Collection ad pic (the one of the peach phone up to her mouth). It's so sherbet-like & mod on me...I just can't pull this one off. I think it's a pretty color, just not on me. :(

I just ordered 12 NYX lippies off of Ebay and this was one of the shades I just kinda 'threw in there' after reading some mixed reviews online. The color looks REALLY nice when I swatch it on my hand and in the tube, but on my lips it looks a lot like concealer. I guess it resembles Myth a lot and I don't like Myth by itself but w/ some gloss it looks great. So I'm gonna try it w/ some glosses and I'll update this review when I've made up my mind on how I feel about this shade :)

I selected that I would not buy this product again, but that's just because it's not a color I wear very often. This is a very 1960s color without being too over-the-top, a creamy orange nude. The texture is quite nice, but it can come out a wee bit chalky and uneven, so you have to layer it.

This is a great product in my opinion. I simply love the texture and color of the product. The color a nice nude shade. It is a nice shade of orange but it's not over-barring it is easy to remove when you need to. This color works great on all skin types.

This is a perfect light orange lippie... I know it might look corpse like on some darker skins but on mine this gives me a slight orangey shade which I top off with a Papaya lipgloss or other light orangey color gloss.
It is matte. It is cheap. It wears very well. It is a great way to cover unevenly pigmented lips without going to the pink shades or a blah nude.
love it and will continue to use it -- besides these are the shades for the new color seasons!

This is an slightly orange based nude color that looks like I put thick concealer on my lips and I look super dead with it on. Actually it almost completely wipes out my lip pigmentation. I find that is is extremely unwearable by itself but I have been using it to tone down other lipsticks that I own to make a lighter version of that color I like. On me anyway, a nude lippie has to have some tone of pink in it to be wearable like Mac Myth.

Well I love love love the color of this lipstick! it really really complements my NC15-20 skin. It's just not that good on dry lips even if you put lip balm as a base or as finishing.

This Creamsicle-colored lipstick really appealed to my inner 60's kitten. You could see Twiggy or Jean Shrimpton or Brigitte Bardot getting into a catfight over this light peach creme. I was not disappointed: super pigmented, light nude. It is a glossier version of Revlon Nude Attitude. Wear is fine for a lipstick, price is unbelievably low, looks great on a mod, pale nw15 face like mine.

NYX Orange Soda round l/s:
If you are getting this to get the effect of concealor on your lips without actually using a concealor I would recommend it. BUT....I tried it and sadly it didn't work out for me. My lips are too pigmented despite the fact that the l/s is opaque. I don't like the way this shade contrasts against my teeth:(.
Otherwise, I could see how this could work for other people. I like the texture of the l/s, packaging is cute, it is an inexpensive l/s and has average wear. I wouldn't repurchase but only because I know this is not the right shade for me.
UPDATE: Orange Soda works so well under NYC Au Naturel l/g. I am wearing this combo in my Halloween picture. I love the result! Kinda a hassle to put on l/s and then l/g if you are in a hurry but oh well. I actually would buy this lippie again now. I changed the rating to a yes!

~ I really like this lipstick, its a nice peach toned nude and for $2.00 you cannot beat the price because it is good quality. I do however find that this is the exact same color as Revlon's matte lipstick in 'nude attitude' which I also own- the only difference between the two is that orange soda is more creamy and glossy while the Revlon lippie is matte. This lipstick goes on very nice and creamy and matches well with many lipglosses in my collection, I also like mixing this with a little of my MAC saint germain lipstick to create a nice pink nude (the two mixed together *almost* provide the same color as Myth lipstick by MAC).... all in all, I do like this but sort of wish I knew it was very similar to my nude attitude by Revlon- but no worries :) I will use it and I adore the texture of it! ♥
*UPDATE*
I had to give this lippie 5 stars- after using it for a few more days I have to say it is gorgeous! it goes on like a dream, its creamy and looks great alone or under lipgloss! but I especially love it without lipgloss because its super glossy. Also this is the kind of lipstick you could whip out and apply without a mirror! Love it!

One of my favorite nude lippies. I was surprised to find this better than some of my MAC nudes. Fortunately, a lady at a boutique shop was so nice enough to give this to me for a DOLLAR..So I can't really comment on the price, besides the fact that it was dirt cheap. Anyway, the only con to this lipstick is the way it might slightly crust like most nudes. I find it annoying =( Other than that, this is VERY creamy..highly pigmented and gives you that perfect light peachy nude.

I.love.this.lipstick. I've been on an NYX lip stuff binge recently, and within the past week I've ordered 18 new lipsticks and 12 new glosses. I think it's safe to say that this is my favorite lipstick out of all of them, and my favorite nude lipstick EVER. It's the perfect pale nude peach/beige shade. It's got a wonderfully smooth and creamy consistency, which I love. Matte nude shades can be great, but are a little harder to pull off as they can look dry and lifeless and chalky. This one just looks luscious! It's totally nude, but has just the right amount of peachyness to it that prevents the look of death. It actually adds life to your face and has a brightening effect - and all this for for $2 (or even less, depending on where you're buying from)!!!!! It doesn't get much better than that. If you love perfectly nude lips, you must try this!!!!!!!!
