A beautiful MSF, wow, it's gorgeous as a blush. i swirl it all and get the most beautiful color ever.
do not use to contour, though, lol, i was being a little impulsive thinking this would work and it's definitely nto a countour color, just a beautiful blush.

I found this at a local CCO and am sooo happy with it!! The color is a gorgeous peachy rose on my NC30-40 skin. Best of all, there are no chunky glitters like some of the other MSFs by MAC--just a finely-milled, beautiful glow. The pigmentation of this product is amazing too. A light touch with my brush without swirling is all I need for each cheek.

I was in denial about this for a really long time. I bought Redhead and Blonde and didn't even think about getting Brunette. Neither R or B worked out for me and I fiiinally decided to get Brunette. True to its name it works for me! It doesn't look very pretty in the pan but it looks really great on my NW25 (in MAC foundation) skin tone. I would repurchase this, but I don't think I'll need to.

So glad to find this at a CCO recently! This MSF is just beautiful! Such a great pink color. I usually use the darker side for blush, and lighter side for a slight highlight. Works like a charm. I only have 3 MSF's, and the others are more so bronzers, but I just love this as a blush, might be my all time favorite blush! Such a great color, if you can find at a CCO, grab it!

Well lets just say this first....i had no idea how big my pores were until i put this glitter bomb on. Since buying it, i have read what other reviewers have said about applying it before you put on your finishing powder, and this way truly helped me. Thanks Worldsbestdresser, great tip.

Wow!! I can't believe I passed this up when the collection originally came out. I ended up swapping for this recently and it's LOVE! This gives me the most gorgeous flushed coral/rosy glow on my MAC NC30-35 skin. This is definitely one of the more pigmented MSFs. You only really need a light hand with this. It is not OTT shimmery or glittery as some MSFs can be..it's got the perfect amount of shimmer to it to give a nice ethereal glow. This really is my perfect blush! Gorgeousness!

hi ladies, i'm an NC50 and i wear this almost everyday!
i use it as a blush & i also put a tad bit on my forehead & nose.
i recommend this to all the darker skinned girls out there!
however, i must say, it is a bit shimmery, if you have issues with big pores, it may not work so well.

OMFG! How lovely is this, i mean it is so perfect for my nc45 complexion and many others. It's bronzy with some pinkness on my skin that makes me look so purrty. I love this, i bought it yesterday after going back in forth with this the previous day i got peachytwist but im so glad i gave in on one of my mac splurges last night with my sister and bought margin as well which is so gorgeous. I swiped it once with my 187 on each cheek and it's very pigmented even on my skin and it gave the prettiest glow, no need to use a blush plus this imo bc it has enough color. Im going to get a backup plus one for my mom as she tried to swipe it from me last night. I don't know when this will run out bc u only need very little. I can't explain to all my sistahs out there in mua to go run and get this asap, it's LE!

I should have known better and not purchased this at all. I am not a fan of anything shimmery/glittery on my cheeks (accentuates pores) and this was way too shimmery for my liking.
Also, no matter how lightly I put this on, and no matter which brush I used, I just could not get it to work. This looked like a big pile of rusty glitter on me and was not flattering at all.
I know some use it as a highlighter, etc, but the colour is too wrong for me to use at all. Fortunately, it works really well on my daughter (she's a NW20), so it has not gone to waste.
For reference: NW15, blue eyes, med. brown hair.

Brunette MSF review
I initially purchased the Redhead and Blonde MSFs from the BBR collection. I read many reviews saying that Brunette MSF was too dark and too red. Well, 3 months later I finally decided to pull the trigger and just get it. It turned out to be my favorite MSF from this collection.
---
I'm NC30 and this works wonderfully with my skintone. I used the 187 with a light hand and it applied a beautiful coppery-coral-bronze that actually has hints of peach on my skin. The shimmer is very low-key, instead this delivers more of a glow to the skin. I had planned on using this solely as a bronzer, but it looks more like a blush/bronzer due to the coral-peachy undertones.
---
I have seen girls with fair skin wear this and it looks wonderful on them as well. I think anyone can wear this if they use a light hand. The shade is to die for, I honestly don't have any other MSF that matches this color.
--
This gets 5/5 from me due to the beautiful glow it gives to the skin, I love that is so pigmented, and the fact that it's versatile as blush/bronzer/highlighter on my skin. A unique and beautiful color that is so worth the $28 I paid

*sigh* I was so looking forward to this (mainly because of the name, lol). But this really does not work for me, I'm fairer skinned, and this just turned orange on me. Literally, orange. I try and try to blend this out, but it just makes me look like I have sun burn - not a good look. Oh well.

I wasnt really interested in it at first, but decided to give it a go. And I am really glad I did. I have had a terrible history with MSF in the past - the glitter component in past MSF have seen me trade/give my others away so I was a little tentative about this - and I was pleasantly surpised to see that there is absolutely no awful glitter in this MSF!! It gives a lovely glow without the glitter and the finished look is much more refined.
I was also very surprised by the texture - this is a very smooth, very silky textured MSF and it makes for very easy application!! If you are pale skinned like me then the only drawback to this being so soft, because it is a darker colour, is that it can tend to be applied too heavily and requires buffing out later if you dont use a light hand. It does buff very easily though and any mistakes are easily and quickly fixed, so dont worry too much if you feel this is too dark, just buff it out a little and then highlight. Pale girls need not be afraid of this colour :)
I am quite pale and I really LOVE this colour!! I am a dark brunette with brown eyes and this complements me beautifully, though I am not so sure blonde haired, blue eyes beauties would fair so well with Brunette MSF. I also adore the degrade - its SO nice to be able to have colour and highlighter in the one product and these degrades are fabulous in that regard. Contour, colour and highlight from one MSF is just the best and I was so delighted I got a back-up Brunette.

I wanted to get a bronze colored MSF, but I didn't want just a plain brown or tan, and this was perfect! I don't usually like bronzer, I just think it doesn't suit me well, but it looks great on others, so I got this. Its a shimmery reddish bronze color, extremely pigmented, and gorgeous with a light hand. I don't use this on regular basis, but its great for special occasions.

I love this Mineralize Skinfinish!!!!! I am an NC50 & it looks great on my skin. I apply it with the 187 brush & I am able to control how heavy or light I want the application to be. I am so glad that I purchased this one!!!! I am debating on buying a backup. It is limited edition & will not be available for much longer.

I'm not as excited about this product as all of the other reviews. On my NW45 complexion, it looks like an unflattering and ashy pink where all i can see mostly is the shimmer. Saying that, my sister is slightly lighter than me and its a pretty pink on her so i'd say if you're NW45 or darker i wouldn't really recommend it. Its ashame because i really wanted to like it...
UPDATE: Have now given 4 lipsticks after using the darker side of the blush only and only using the lighter end as a highlighter. It now looks gorgeous on my NW45 skintone using this combination so very happy with it. Have noticed that the darker end is very similar to Ambering Rose so would work out better value for money purchasing ambering rose blush in the future!

Golden, Olive, Bronze and Brown ladies...run and get this MSF while you still can! Brunette is a beautiful mash up of a deep rose and a warm bronze. It imparts a wonderful healthy glow...blessed by the sun with a pop of color. I use this all over to add depth to foundation or use it with a variey of blushes to contour/highlight. I love pairing it with NARS Taj Mahal or NARS Luster. Pale, Fair or Light ladies would also have fun with this MSF if used with a light hand or a fan brush. I prefer using a fan brush with this MSF for lighter skin tones and a Skunk/NARS buki for medium to darker tones. This is right up there with Metal Rock MSF for me!

Beautiful as a bronzer for lighter skins if you can not get a hold of So Ceylon.

Oh well, I'm a brunette (dark brown, Asian) so I thought I should get this too when I bought Redhead MSF. However, it's too dark for me (NC20-25), I also tried the skunk brush #188, but even with that one I have to be careful not to have a color streak on my skin. Maybe I'm gonna wear it for photographs as they wash out colors, but for everyday it's just too much of a hassle to make Brunette subtle enough.

This was the first time I purchased a MSF and I must say I really like this product. Initially, I thought it would be look like shimmer overload on my NC 45 skin. But using my 129 and light hand I get the perfect glow on my cheeks. I am now looking forward to branching out and trying other MSFs.
