I have very thick coarse hair and I usually use a mousse to give it volume. My hair is very heavy so it can start to lye flat if I don't use the correct mousse. I picked up this conditioner cause I needed one & have yet to find one that doesn't cause my hair to flatten down. After using this conditioner I did not need to use any styling products at all. I just used my usual Biolage smoothing serum and blew it dry and WOW!!! It was great-I had a ton of volume and was it was super easy to work with my hair! I couldn't believe it but I think gals w/ thin or fine hair might find this product cause their hair to feel coarse and dry. It contains some ingredient that you feel on your hair after you rinse it out and style it. Also another very important thing is that is didn't irritate my scalp at all. I have very sensitive skin and no irritation or flakes or itches, YAY!!

This is a new product line for volume- comes in blue packaging. John Frieda products have always been hit-or-miss with me. This one is great! It gives great volume and softness at the same time. I also tried the shampoo which I liked as well. The mousse is great, too.
