This is should be the best eyeliner in the world! And it always got sold out in my country, ESP the black color. I use this when I was in maldives, went to the water, people asking me for my eyeliner. What kind of eyeliner is that.
My face is oily, nothing last, beside this eyeliner. How to remove it? Very easy, I take shower straight after Im back from work, so I went for shower, wash my hair, your face already wet anyway, then lastly wash your face like normally with your face soaps, beside the eyes area, then rinse your face, to remove the eyeliner just wipe it with your finger left to right. And its all in your finger, you still can wipe it twice to make sure nothing left behind. Then rinse it.

The summary is, it need to be wet for a while, then it will be slide so easily.

This is the best liquid eyeliner I have ever used! Truly lives up to it's name and stays put all day! Removing it requires a bit of extra attention, mine flakes off kind of like Sensai 38-mascara.

This is by far the best liquid eyeliner I have ever used. It honestly lives up to it's name. I probably have the oilIest face in the world. I live off of primers and blotting tissues and still produce so much oil around my cheeks, nose, AND eyelids. But somehow, this liner manages to stay put the entire day without smearing or smudging. The texture is quite glossy and at first I didn't like the glossiness but I've grown accustomed to it now. But i will say this... I have had difficulty trying to set the liquid with a powder and that turned out to be an awful mess. So... if you're trying to find a liner that dries matte, don't purchase this liner. It stays semi-glossy throughout the day. The felt-tip brush is nice, I prefer the stiffer kind (like NYX eye markers) but it's adaptable... also, the only iffy thing I have about this product is how much product is dispensed onto the brush. I find myself kind of wiping it on the sides of the tube to take off excess product but other than that, it's an excellent product and I will definitely re-purchase (despite it's $20 price tag). iIT'S WORTH IT!

The product really does live up to its name, but hence, taking it off again does require some hard work... The remains of the eyeliner then go all over my face and even into my hair: it could be the way I take off the eyeliner, but still I do think it really does create a terrible mess. Also, I seem to have got blemishes on my face on all the parts where bits of the eyeliner got stuck.

One thing I did not like about the liquid eyeliner either is the shimmer, especially when you try to correct the line going over it again (ie. reapplication). I always went over the liquid liner with a pencil in order to make it look less shiny/shimmery.

All in all, I much prefer the Double Wear eyepencils which I have in Black and Midnight Blue. They are wonderful and last practically all day as well.

I have to say I was suprised by the reviews on this.

This is the only eyeliner than I have managed to get to stay on my face for longer than 5 seconds. It not only lasts all day, but I have to have a hot shower to loosen it before I use a make up removing oil to take it off. It's almost tattoo'd on!

The price is ok for the quality, I find it easier than any other eyeliner (be it gel, pencil or liquid) to get on, I have very thick naturally curly eyelashes and I find getting eyeliner down near the roots tough.

And on me at least, it just lasts and lasts. Even after a day at the yard with the horses my eyeliner is still perfect.

I have mixed feelings about this product. I've been using it for about a month now, and I don't know if I'm totally won over yet to give it five lipsticks...
1. I love the applicator. It has a nice, felt-like tip, but it's really convenient because it is firmer than most. Therefore, a more clean and concise application is attainable.
2. I also love the long handle; better for control.
3. I don't think it's as long lasting as other liquid liner brands like MAC or even Loreal. It smudges on my lids, and it dries pretty slowly.

So yea, i'm "meh" about this product. I would buy it again, however... only because I have not yet found a better alternative.

Having used "Line Maker" for years with ease of application and long lasting with worry free wear (Now no longer available) I tried Estee Lauder's Double Wear Zero-Smudge Liquid Eye Liner to be of no comparison.
The applicator is not as precise as a brush applicator but the worst aspect of this product is cracking after a couple of hours. Specs flaking away on your face leaving gaps in the line drawn around eyes. There has to be better than this!

Absolutely loved it! Have to agree with some other reviewers about it's longevity. I could put it on in the morning go out all day sleep with it and wake up with it still perfect. Easy to use and has nice packaging. I have not had any problems with the rubber.

I am a big fan of Estee Lauders Double Wear range as they really do last and last. This eyeliner is no exception. I could apply this eyeliner in the morning, then later go on a night out and when I wake up in the morning after said messy night out, it will still look perfect! So, good points are:
- Lovely intense matte black colour.
- Easy to apply with the brush/applicator thing provided!
- Stays on for ages.
- Does not budge if I have a good old cry.
- Dries quicky so doesn't transfer into the socket line.

However, nothing is perfect so here are the down points:
- A bit difficult to take off (which is to be expected really seems as it is meant to last). And when it does come off, it kind of comes off in one long piece of eyeliner which I have to peel off my eyelid!
- The packaging. As I said earlier, I love the Estee DW range. However, the packaging is shocking. It looks fancy and everything, which is nice. But they always break on me (this has happened on all my other Estee make up packaging). My eyeliner doesnt close properly, and the lid doesnt screw on but falls lop sidedly, and its not because there is too much eyeliner caked around the rim, because I take care of my make up, its just that it is bad quality packaging. For the price we pay for Estee Lauder make up, I expect the packaging to at least be of better quality and actually close properly.

However, I would definately buy this eyeliner again because its staying power is just amazing :)

Does what it says it will - stays put all day and lovely intense black colour. It is bit expensive but will last you ages as you'll only need to touch up once a day max. One of the 2 eyeliners that i will buy over and over along with Mac gel eyeliner, but for ease i use i'd go with EL doublewear as you dont need the brush & the pot to put it on but Mac one v.good for nights out as really long lasting.

Love love love this eyeliner! I use the brown and the copper ones and I love the color, they have a light shimmer. Doesn't bugde or smear and is still easy to wash off with makeup remover. It's perfect if you're looking for a natural look with a fine line of eyeliner. Really easy to use too, the rubber bit is just the right size for me, not too thin not too thick. You have to be careful with the rubber bit though, it has a tendancy of shrivelling of you're not careful with it!

Age: 44-55   Skin: Normal, Fair, Warm   Hair: Red, Straight, Medium   Eyes: Hazel

this is an expensive product for what you get.

what you get is this:

- color which applies thinly, i.e. almost watery
- color which looks slightly shiny/pearly -- not a matte matte anything
- a small barell of product which has a tedency to snap off at the tip
- a brush which is fine and easy to maneuver but can be bent out of shape if not edged into the barrell with max care.

the thin texture does stay on.. surprise! but the work involved in getting this product to do something like making statement eyes is tedious... would not recommend.

I am not very experienced with eyeliners so I thought to invest on a good brand instead of trying too many.. This delivered all it promised. Smudge proof flawless finish and intense black magic!!

The only problem is, that it's very hard to remove. It crumbles all around the eye and sticks on the skin.. I need to soak my eyes on cotton pads and do at least three rounds of eye makeup removing.. Maybe i need to change the eye makeup remover so it gets a 4.

I love this eyeliner! Normally I'm horrible at applying liquid liner, but because of the tip this one is easy for me to apply in a neat, thin, line or do a cat eye. I've even had random people compliment my eyeliner when I wear this, which is not something I usually get.

The formula is also great. I have it in black. It lasts all day and night until I take it off with eye make-up remover and never smudges. I've had it about 3 months and had no problems with the stopper coming out or it drying out. I do only use it on my upper lash line.

I thought I was going to love this but no. I have this in brown and the color is nice with a bit of shimmer. However, it doesn't apply very well. The "brush" or rather the rubber tip is good for creating very thin lines but if you want to do a thicker line, it will look messy and uneven. Actually, when I go over the same line to make it look darker, it also looks cracky, and dry. It may be because the tip is too hard. It won't scratch your lids or anything but it's not good for going over the same line more than once. The staying power is good though, no smudging. Again, if you're doing a very thin line, this would work fine. Will not repurchase.

Stays on the whole day without beeing difficult to remove at all. Very easy to apply compared to for example mac liquidlast, because its not a brush, just a flexible tip. Only downside is I have it in midnight blue, but even on my fair skin it shows up as almost black... I end up using this a lot instead of other liquid liners i have, mainly because of the super-easy application, I need 1/3 of the time compared to the others.

I just bought this product today, and I absolutely love it! Prior to this, I always used Revlon Colorstay, but I finally decided to switch to liquid eyeliner. The applicator is firm, which makes it easy to apply onto eyelids. The liquid isn't "runny" and dries instantly. It's also Noir Black, which is awesome if you're looking for a dark, long-lasting color.

I love this eyeliner. I use the brown liquid eyeliner and follow with a black pencil usually. It glides on so smooth and easily, and looks great. Usually it's not recommended to use the liquid for your lower lids, but I do. Although, The downside to using it on the bottom lids is that it will sometimes smudge. Nothing too terrible, but enough to annoy me. And trying to get it off is a bitch.

But the top lids? No smudge. It's dandy. Love it!

I am not a big fan of this eye liner. First, the rubber stopper kept coming out- so annoying. The liner is glittery, and I don't think its ok if i were to used it during the day . But, it glides perfectly :) this is my first liquid eye liner and it gave me confidence to use them. Thanks EL and please fix the rubber stopper ;)

I was using this eye liner for 3 month. Quality of the product is really good, line stays all the night and doesn't smudge, but the package... there is a big problem with rubber stopper - it makes a lot of mess... So now I'm searching for another good black eye liner though I like the effect. :( If it doesn't matter quality of the package and the mess - you will not be disappointed. ;)
