If I had a super deep tan, perhaps this would work. But the pale golden sparkles just seemed to disappear against my pale skin. The scent is unpleasant, and it's not that moisturising either. It's certainly cheap, but not really worth the effort.

I have mixed feelings about this product. Unlike most other reviewers, the smell does not bother me. It also does a great moisturising job. But there is practically no shimmer to it, or barely noticeable. I did however make a test: applied to one leg and compared it to the other one where I had put no lotion and I really did see the difference: my "Nivea leg" was glowing compared to the other one. I don't know if I will repurchase though.

This stuff was so blah. I didn't like the scent nor did I like the lotion itself. Save your money ladies and buy yourself something that you'll use!

Bleh. This stuff is just stinky, oozy and basically useless. No shimmer, no moisture... it's like the winner of the most useless, false advertising product ever.

Nivea keeps sticking samples of these in magazines and now I know why - they probably obsessively do it because no one's interested in buying the stuff! One sample sachet lasts about 2-3 applications and I had about 10, so it was more than enough for me to determine that I'd never buy a full-sized bottle. OK, first of all, this stuff is smelly. Being a body lotion, you'd think Nivea would make it sweetly scented, but noooo. It's smelly, like burning plastic and metal. Not quite something I like to smell like. Also, it's more of a *sheen* than a shimmer, and it's not very noticable at all. I do like how it's gold/warm toned, but it was not very moisturizing to me - which they'd said it'd be.

This stuff is a nightmare -- it gets all over everything, it smells like death, and makes your skin tone look horrible (regardless of how much effort you put in to making it look right). Splurge on the Michael Korrs stuff for legs -- it's so worth it if you really want to highlight bodyparts other than your face.

Blah! This stuff was just terrible! First off, I almost wasn't able to even get past the noxious scent... it's really downright terrible! However, if you are able to get past the scent (and you probably won't... I had to force myself to), you'll find that this is a substandard lotion with zero performace. Jergen's new Shimmer Lotion is heads and tails better than this stuff! So, save your money and skip the Nivia... purchase the Jergens! :o)

I HATED this so much. I didn't find it to be moisturizing at all. Make sure you use it sparingly or you'll be freaking out trying to rub the gold streaks in. It dries quickly so if you're still rubbing when it dries it flakes. If you make the mistake of scratching your arm or leg you'll find this under your nail. AND my boyfriend yelled at me for it *melting* from my legs (wearing shorts, hey it's florida) onto his black leather seats. It didn't 'even out my skintone' as promised, it just coated me with gold 'paint' like those gold statue mime people in Key West. It smelled coppery, like a penny. It was a little on the thin side. Did I mention that I hate this stuff?

I could barely see this shimmer lotion on my legs, but I could see it all over my hands. After about 30 minutes, the shimmer had worn off and my legs started breaking out. EEk!

This lotion is an okay lotion for the moisturizing part but there is absolutely NO shimmer what so ever! I put the whole sample packet on one leg and I couldn't see even a little shimmer.

I really liked this lotion. I got the sample packet from a recent issue of Allure magazine and just knew I had to have this! This lotion makes me look like a little goddess (hey, i'm only 5 ft tall). I have light skin with golden undertones and this looks just wonderful on me. I wear this with high heels and it makes my legs look pretty. I will get another bottle when this runs out. Definitely worth trying out!

This lotion is ok. It didn't leave to much of a shimmer on my skin. It left a little bit, but it seemed to wear off at the end of the day. I notice the little bit it leaves when I'm outside or when I'm playing at a band concert. I'm going to finish up my bottle, but I don't buy this one again.

no shimmer (checked two different lights to make sure )also found the scent to be a little off.
