I have to agree that the 'aroma' of this product is most off-putting. Let it absorb into your skin, and about 4 hours later, it doesn't smell AS horrible, but I have to say this smells like garbage! I don't recommend it at all....

I was actually wanting to get a good oil or mix of oils for my face/ neck during winter times especially this time of the year am peeling like a snake :-(

I wanted a good Vitamin E one but not sticky, non oily..well my preference list goes on and on.. but you see am talking about oils and its rare to get a dry oil out of a mix.

When i searched the internet, i came across Rodin olio lusso and reviews by celebrities. I was wondering whats big in it. Oh well, the big thing in it is Jamine oil..the product seems to have a mix of 11 essential oils.

Jasmine oil / perfume can be seen sold in India in many places. I wonderif they are truly pure but it is a very familiar scent for me. Pure jasmine costs A LOT, so experiment with the smallest quantity.

I am glad i did not shell out money on rodin olio lusso but still writing a review. If someone here wants to make an equivalent of this product you can do it by taking a good quantity of pure jasmine oil combined with all other oils in small quantity (almond oil, arnica, calendula, evening primrose, argan, apricot, jojoba, rosehip, neroli, sunflower).

I love jasmine flowers ( had a garden at home back in India with lots of it). So i thought i would do an experiment with this nice scented flower oil...I did get 1 oz of jasmine oil pure (man that is so expensive but i dont think i can use more than a drop due to the strong scent). I mixed with Jason vitamin e beauty oil (it has avacado oil...i think its 5000 iu) I had which i hadnt used for a quite some time. I use it in night nowadays, i should say am pretty impressed - no breakouts, no oiliness, just supple bright skin.

Ladies if you want to buy rodin olio lusso, please try your own mix first to see what is working .. just try to mix oil of your liking (and most importantly whichever suits your skin) with a little jasmine oil (if you like the smell!) and see the difference.

Also Jasmine oil has therapeutic properties - like for mild depression..its a mood elevator. Just google and see if you are interested in it more.

Thanks for reading!

I suffer from little patches of eczema from time to time and have to be careful about putting lotions and potions on my sensitive skin. This face oil caused no bad reactions, which is a plus. It also soaked in nicely and didn't leave me looking or feeling like an oil-slick. However, I did NOT notice any changes in the condition of my skin. It is a very expensive product and has a very strong floral smell which I detested, and my boyfriend too! There are other alternatives which give better results and are far less expensive. I won't be buying it again.

On my second bottle. It lives up to the hype. My very sensitive skin is transformed into a radiant glow with each application. The gardenia scent is a little overpowering at first, but the scent soon fades. This product delivers results unlike most I've tried. Fabulous, but pricey.

I just got this product today, so this review is a bit premature, but I just wanted to respond to the only other review of this product which complains of its smell. I think it smells lovely. I don't usually like fragranced products in general, but this one smells divine--I really love it. That said, scents are such a personal thing, so I think you'd have to smell it for yourself, but I wanted everyone to know that there are differing opinions on how this smells. It also feels wonderful going on, and I think I might love it, but I definitely want to apply it a few more times before I weigh in on that. UPDATE: LOVE this stuff. I would bathe in it if I could:)

Ok, the WHOLE CITY of New York seems to be talking about this oil....but as lovely as I find most face oils (I've pretty much stopped putting creams on my face...they all broke me out..oils never do...go figure) this one STINKS. I mean STINKS. I would NEVER put this on my face, and it is only because of the smell....HORRIBLE. I mean, I can't say it enough....I can't describe how bad it is. My search goes on for the next, best oil....
