This is a very "watery" liquid sunscreen that feels extremely slippery, but melts into the skin and leaves a perfect finish for the day, in the short run. But now I've used it for one week and discovered new bumps on my chin and around the mouth, where I usually never get acne!! And this even if I've been extremely aware of cleansing in the night, I have really taken it away...and washed the face twice....
Pros:
- mattifying
- primer-effect
- refines the skin and pores in a amazing way
- claims high spf
Cons:
- loaded with silicones
- not too broadspectrum, the uva A protection is very poor. UVA is important cause of the ageing effects...
- small bottle
- seems like it gives me clogged pores... :(
Wont repurchase.....

I thought this was my HG sunscreen as I've used 3 bottles. It was light and non greasy. Most importantly, it was cheap for the high protection it offers. Lately, because my skin have been severely dehydrated. Probably, due to the summer and me piling on mega sunscreen (those shake-up kind). I just found out those shake-up sunscreen contain ALCOHOL and it was sucking every drop of moisture I have. This Biore one included. I'm sad to say, but I can no longer use shake-up sunscreens. : ( You can read my review on the Shiseido Ultimate Protection Cream.

After reading several reviews on sunscreens on MUA I decided on buying this sunscreen instead of paying more for a Shiseido one. For the first few days I felt amazed by the silky, matte finish the sunscreen left on my skin. Living in South-East Asian weather, I get extremely hot and oily after 2 - 3 hours on a working day and need to blot all the time. It went well under makeup and I didn't need to blot as much as I did normally.
However, after a few days, the skin on my nose started to dry up and I started getting clogged pores and cystic acne around my chin, upper lip and forehead. I love that it's mattifying but it broke me out! I will try using moisturiser before applying the sunscreen to see if that changes anything.

I still do not have an HG sunscreen (.... HG anything really. Except Aztec clay mask.) Anyway, this is the "least evil" sunscreen I've tried.
Pros:
- least greasiest sunscreen I've ever tried
- SPF and PA rating is great
- lightweight texture and white cast goes away very quickly
Cons:
- slightly breaks me out. I see plugged pores, shallow zits, small pimples around my jaw/mouth area. :(
- alcohol scent!! BLECH
- It has a silicone-y feel, which I hate that feeling. I need to find a silicone- free awesomesauce sunscreen.
Overall, would I repurchase? Probably not. I went through two bottles, don't love it.
Unless this is the best it gets. :(

So I'm on a mission to find a sunscreen that leaves a MATTE finish, NO shine, and does not leave a white cast on my face. This is only the 2nd one I've tried that is supposed to fit that criteria, but I really love it. It's perfectly matte, leaves a powdery finish, and does not get shiny on my face throughout the day at all. I have never in my life looked forward to using a sunscreen until now. I actually WANT to put it on. It has no sunscreen smell and I don't smell alcohol (like some previous reviewers said). It is, however, kind of drying. My face feels a little tight, but I would still buy it again. And I have dry skin, so that says a lot. I got in on ebay for $11. If I did plan to use this indefinitely, I'd have to buy several at a time because the bottle is so small. Still going to try the other sunscreens on my list (Vichy, Shiseido, Skinceuticals, and Obagi).

This is a pretty good sunblock that doubles as a primer. It leaves a nice matte finish and no greasy look like a lot of US sunscreens. It seemed too drying for me though because of the alcohol it contains.

I've been using this sunblock for 2 months and I must say I love it.
My previous sunscreen was Neutrogena Dry touch and I did'nt like it because it made my skin very oily (which I currently use for my neck and body). After reading all the rave reviews on MUA, I decided to purchase Biore UV Perfect Face Milk in White on ebay. The price is very cheap, only about 14AUD.
The consistency of the product is very watery, you have to shake it well before use. Only a little bit of it to spread all over your face. The sunblock dries up instantly and it give me a matte finish. When I first used it, it made the corners of my mouth, between my eyebrows and cheek very flakey, especially it's winter here in Australia. However, I figured out the way to solve it that is using a richer moisturizer (I'm using Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream instead of Clinique DDMG that I used in the summer).
I really am happy with this sunblock and I will repurchase again and again. This will be perfect to use in Asia where is very humid all year long.

I was so excited to try out this sunscreen! I bought it without hesitation and was anxious for it's arrival! I have tried it twice and both times it made me break out badly. =( I really wanted it to work for me, however it just didn't. It DID keep the skin matte throughout the day and applied nice and smoothly. Makeup applies very well over it. I loved everything about it, but it made me break out. =( I'm seriously sad that it didn't work for me.

I have been using the Biore perfect face milk for almost 3 weeks. It is definitely drying compared to Senka, but nothing serious. I find the bright face milk less drying. I don't like wearing the perfect face milk around my eyes (all over) as it dries this area out and makes it look as though I have wrinkles. I find the bright face milk is less drying and use this around my eyes instead. I may wear my senka around my eyes and compare that.
The biore does control oil better than senka, esp now in the summer. Bright face milk is much less oil controlling and my face gets greasy much more quickly. I find the sparkles in bright face milk negligible but for some reason it leaves more of a white cast on me than perfect face milk. I really like both for different areas on my face.

HG!!! I sure hope that this protects as well as it looks. I've tried everything...Everything, and this gives the most beautiful finish. It has a very slightly pale cast (but nothing extreme) and has a nice, water tight finish. LOVE! It beats lrp for me, bioderma, and all the department store brands. LIke I said, I just hope the protection is comparable beacuse it;s dreamy.
I'm afraid that I am editing! :(. It seemed so great at first - smoothe and flattering (and I actually still get compliments....but only when people are at a distance). But I do start to notice the InCredibly strong alcohols smell and it is sooo drying. I can't tell if silicone products ball under it or if it's just so drying that my skin is flaking off :(. Will not reorder, but enjoyed the brief flirtation :(

I have heard a lot of good things about this product but it just doesn't work for me.. it gave me really bad breakouts on my chin and upper lips. I am so disappointed with this. But overall, i like that it's easy to apply, dries pretty quickly (because they put TONS of alcohol in it that you can smell) Give it a try if you are looking for something that does not make your face feels greasy.
For me, I will have to look for another sunscreen that would suit my skin and doesn't give me breakouts :(

I will be using this super sunblock everytime I stepped out of my house. Usually I will apply the Sunplay hydrating sunblock with spf25 (in pink cap and white bottle packaging) when I decided not to go out. There are a few reasons why I have fallen in love with this Biore sunblock. Firstly, it is very sweat and water resistant. I remember I were doing the NS thing when I first tried on this and as soon as I tried it I know I will continue purchasing it until I have found a better sunblock. It doesn't make me oilier, neither do much of oil control. It makes make up last longer and a 40ml of this last me nearly 2 months. (Note: I never live with no sunblocks. That would be like suicide!) The price is more than just reasonable. Think about it, a 40ml of this only costs you about RM30. Great? Yeap. However, it has no hydrating effects which I desired in facial sunblock but you just simply can't get two great things at the same time (unless you have the luck). I have tried the other sunblocks of Biore (including the white packaging with only 30ml, also spf50) but none has changed my mind so I guess this will stay close to me for the next few months and I shall see what may come...

If your skin truly is super oily, this is a sunscreen that is worthy of the HOLY GRAIL title. It's super light weight, does not leave a white cast, is ridiculously easy to apply, has no offensive scent, gives fantastic sun protection and does not contribute to additional oiliness.
My former favorite was Shiseido Senka but doing a side-by-side comparison test I can easily see and feel the Senka is heavier (both are SPF50).
Order on eBay if you have to. This is remarkable stuff if you have super oily skin.
UPDATE 12/18/2012 - I still absolutely LOVE this sunscreen and still feel it to be HG worthy... but I have a terrible time finding it. I have repurchased a couple/three times but then had trouble getting it so I had to try something else. Nothing really compared, especially for the price. I have one bottle still that I'm trying to use less often in order to stretch it out. If I can start finding it again, I'll go back to using this exclusively because it really is the best and especially for the price!

I was looking around for sunscreens that would protect my face from the SoCal sun, but also keep my oily skin in check. I came across this from reviews and went ahead and bought it on Ebay for $12. I,m so glad I did! I use this on days when I know I'm going to be in the sun for a long time.
Pros:
great UVA/UVB protection
wonderful as a makeup base!
no white cast at all
very liqiudy so it is easy to blend into skin
keeps my oilies down until removal
good price
Cons:
has strong alcohol smell
you get a tiny amount 30ml, so have to order often if used daily
Because of the alcohol content, I would recommend this for oily/very oily non-sensitive skin. I would suggest using a oil cleanser to remove beacuse it stays that well on the skin. Water and soap woudn't cut it imo. I would buy this again becaue it's the best sunscreen I've used so far that isn't too expensive.

This thing changed my life (as much as a makeup item can change one's life...). My skin is the devil - I have a very oily t-zone with super dry cheeks and undereye area. The only thing that's managed to control the oilies has been Estee Lauder Double Wear liquid, but even with that my forehead would start repelling foundation after a few hours. It was totally hopeless.
Enter Biore sunscreen - which I bought on ebay from a seller in Thailand for a very reasonable £10 including shipping. It arrived within two weeks (with a customs form filled out as an $2 gift, which made me laugh). I tried it on, the heavens opened, angels sang, etc. It spreads so well and smooths out my skin texture, probably because of the silicone in it. My skin hates silicone primers and retaliates with more grease, not with this one though. My makeup goes on amazingly smooth and even on top.
The oil control is beyond this world. After a 12 hour work day and a pole fitness session, my foundation was still intact with minimal oil, my drawn-on eyebrows were still on (what a godsend for those of us missing eyebrows...) and there was no gross caking up on my nose.
This is the most effective oil-control primer I've ever found and I'd buy it even if it didn't have spf. The only drawback I can think of is that my undereye area is way too dry for this, so I'm on the hunt for an eye cream with spf now.
This changed my skin so much I've ditched the ELDW and only wear concealer and MSFN now - my makeup still lasts just as well. Everyone with oily skin needs this!

I can picture most women liking this. It has a thin, light consistency, non offensive smell, and doubles as a primer to *those that are partial to silicone primers*. Due to this, with my oily skin, this does not work well under my makeup contrary to most of the reviewers! If you aren't a fan of silicone/slip -like primers like myself underneath your makeup, I would not recommend this. Due to this, I'm going back to Shiseido sunscreen which doesn't leave my skin feeling so slippery like Biore, making my makeup slide right off my face within hours.

I use this sunscreen after my beloved Sofina - Perfect UV (UV cut milk Extra Block) SPF 50 + PA +++ got discontinued.
Pros:
- It has PA+++. SPF only block UVB rays, which can cause skin-related cancers. Only PA or PD are the measures of block UVA rays, which causes skin aging and skin darkening. Don't fall for nowadays marketing scheme about high SPF will prevent aging. It's not absolutely true!
- It controls shine on oily skin so well that I would recommend non-oily skin ladies stay away from this sunscreen. It really sucks up all oil from your skin and leaves a very matte effect once it dries up. (guess this can be a con as well)
- It hasn't broken me out yet. I've only been using it for a few weeks. I will update this review after a few months
Cons:
- It's expensive in my opinions consider the amount I get from the package.
- Hard to find. I bought it from amazon and it took 2 weeks to arrive.
- Can be drying if you don't have oily skin.
I like this project so far. But the ultimate test would be summer time. So I will keep you ladies posted.
