I use this, together with the Anti-Blemish Solutions Toner, face wash and concealer. I've used a lot of brands that claimed to reduce the appearance of acne but this is one of the very few that's not too agressive for my skin. I wash my face with the Liquid Facial Soap in 'Mild', follow with the Anti-Blemish toner, apply this moisturizer and conceal if needed.
I love the feeling of this moisturizer; it feels light like a lotion, it's easy to apply and it sinks in very quickly. It has no overwhelming scent, just the usual Clinique scent, and I find it to be a good base for my foundation. It keeps shine at bay for several hours (usually, I have to blot my t-zone within a few hours; now it's only twice a day) and it makes my skin feel soft and comfortable. It comes in a tube so you don't have to dig in with your fingers ( a big pro with acne treatments; the less bacteria the better) and I think the price is fair, considering the activity on my skin. Maybe, if you want to buy the whole series at once, it's a bit expensive but it's definitely worth the investment.

i really like this product. I have acne prone skin ever since having my daughter 3 years ago. it felt like nothing would help. i picked this up 2 weeks ago. i don't really like the rest of the 3 step system products out there so i stick with just this. it took a while for my skin to be able to tolerate consistant use. i have a benzoyl peroxide sensitivity. i started using it at night every other day. then after a week i used it every night.. now i use it every night and every other day. this works really well as a treatment for me. it is also technically a moisturizer and the consistency is of one. thinner than BP spot treatment creams. this is trying to me so all i do is let it sink in, and put cetaphil over it. its been working wonders for me ever since!

I like this stuff. I break out due to hormones, so topical treatments aren't going to magically make the few pimples I have go away. But this product is great! I put it on overnight, and use my regular 3 step daily moisturiser. Cause I have combination skin, and if I use a anti blemish product all the time it does dry my skin out a bit. It's light on your skin. No oily feel. Makes my pores appear smaller. Smooths my skin as well. I think maybe it's too harsh though.
Edit: After years of using clinique... I've decided to change to natural products. After using them for a few weeks now, my skin is a lot better.

I've tried so many acne line since I hv sensitive combo acne prone skin and this is the best for my skin. Gradually clear up my acne, just a little bit drying but not to a point where it is peeling red and pain full. Can easily be fix w moisturizer. I use all 3 step system but change the toner to no 2 cos the anti blemish toner was too strong for my sensitive skin. Been using it for 1 years Overall I lv it

I use this as part of the 3 step system for Anti-Blemishes. I really like it, as it's very smooth, does not leave skin greasy or irritated, it's great.
But since it's summer I also use ABOVE it another moisturizer from Clinique (Superdefense SPF 25) and I must say they work well together- skin is moisturized but not greasy, pores are smaller.
It's great as a treatment moisturizer because it just restores skin balance after the harsh-er cleanser and toner, just enough to let you add your day or night cream with specific properties.
You should know - all ingredients from a cream are better absorbed if skin is well moisturized.
So I recommend this to be use as a base for your SPF or night cream. It doesn't build up oil in skin, even on its oilier parts.

I really liked this. Since using this plus the acne solutions toner, my breakouts have lessened and my skin looks and feels so smooth! I am in my early thirties and still suffer from hormonal breakouts especially during the time of the month. I highly recommend this product for anyone who breakout and has had some previous success with benzoyl peroxide. This formulation can be a little drying at first, so I would recommend just using it once a day in the PM and using the DDMG in the AM.

I started using this anti-blemish moisturiser along with the cleanser and lotion. It was weird to begin with, as I found my fingertips (only my right hand) had a weird film coating soon after using these products. I'm not sure which of the products caused it, but had caused my fingertips to look like the skin is peeling off...
Anyway, back to this product. It is quite nice and gentle on skin, with a clinical kind of fragrance. You only need to apply a thin layer all over your face and this tube will last a long time.
However, after using these 3 products for nearly a year (I had gone through at least 3 sets of these products) I found that my skin had not improved at all, and still regularly have breakouts. So I've stopped using Clinique Anti-Blemish solution now and have gone to some other brand. If I cannot find anything else that helps my skin, I *might* come back to Clinique......

Wow, as I was on the verge of losing all hope of controlling my occasional breakouts, oily yet dry skin, I have finally found my skin savior. Buy the complete 3step program to see real results. The system is SO gentle on your skin-- my face actually feels really hydrated and soft during these summer months ( I plan on using this in the dryer winter seasons, and dab on some heavier moisturizer to make up for the dryness)
Since my face is nicely hydrated, it produces less sebum-- which is produced by the body to protect the skin. I didn't think I would be able to say this using any acne-line, but my skin has never been softer before in my LIFE. (and I've been using this for just a week)
My skin has completely cleared up now, but since it hydrates my skin so well and is extremely gentle, I plan on using this as a means to prevent further breakouts.

this was a nice moisturiser, but I wouldn't buy it again. didn't clear up blemishes, but didn't cause more either, as many do. too expensive when you could buy one thats just as good at drugstore.

Is there any other options for question : would I buy this product again? coz I will answer ALWAYS. this is my HG moisturizer ever! because this thing is really safe me from acne. I never have any cystic acne anymore since I use this moisturizer. and I can see now my face is better better and better. Thanks Clinique!
PS: but I recommend to use all 3 step blemish series, as this products working good together.
EDIT : after use it more than 4 months, it doesn't work anymore for me. now I already change my skincare regime to La Roche Posay products.
But I will remember this product have ever brought my face to the best period.

Ok, so i've just started the Anti-blemish 3 step system and so far so good. This moisturizer is pleasent and makes my skin feel like velvet. I'm not 100% sure how well it actually moisturizes my skin because afterwards my skin doest feel really hydrated. Plus i brought the large size, which is supposed to last 6 months. I very highly doubt that it will last me 6 months but i'll see.

I have been using this product for two months now and I must say that it didn't really make any difference to my skin. I don't have big blemishes, but I have small impurities all over my face and I hoped that this product would somewhat clear up my skin. However, it didn't do anything at all for me and I would have probably got the same results from sticking to Clinique's DDMG, which I used before I bought this product. I wouldn't buy it again. UPDATE: So I guess I found out why this didn't work for me. I used the European version of it, which does not contain BP. What a bummer. That's probably also why they changed the name to "blemish solutions" in Europe :(

what to say..i changed from proactive to this line of clinique because i thought it would be less harsher for my skin and my acne had cleared out from using proactive for a year (not like it was very bad acne anyways..but yes on t-zone and chin).....i thinks its too mild for me though...i dont know why i bought it the second time..probably because i got tired of searching for another product out there in the market.. i should say for the quality its pretty expensive..its nothing great...i like that its easy to spread on the face..bt it didnt keep my acne at bay..in fact...i got 4-5 acne spots on my forehead..which has left ugly marks..and wont go...which i hate..coz i had absolutely clear skin before wen i used proactive..and i used to get compliments..but thats probably coz proactive is soo harsh on the skin and many people told me that it would come back to me in a few years time...
i wouldnt buy this again..ill probably have to search for another HG ...coz i hate it when i get acne on my forehead..coz it leaves behind a dark spot against my smooth tan skin...which takes ages to go away!!!!
btw..i like the packaging..but i feel this product is too runny for me..and it doesnt come with a SPF>.soo yes 1 lippy for that..and because of this i have to use the clinique 25 spf on top of this..which makes my face too heavy from soo many layers of cream!!

Why cant they make some cute looking acne products . This stuff was seriously drying you can just buy some benzoyl peroxide treatment at the dollar general and get the same effect.

Its ok to use every now and then like once a week but has a bad effect as a twice a day moisturizor. You are better off getting something like dramatically different and only applying a thing layer or just to the dry parts.
It comes in a convenient size which i like because if i don't have time in the morning I can throw is in my pocket and put it on in the car before school.
Over time its consistency changes from more of a gel to a liquid like lotion.

I m not crazy about this moisturizer.I v used one full size product and didn't notice something different.I don't agree with some reviewers that said that this product drys up their skin.I think the problem that this product has is that is too moisturizing. The texture is not the thickest possible but somehow this made my skin oily and my skin it's not that oily I m using thicker textured products in daily basis without any problem. To have an idea the texture seems to me more lotion than gel and for sure is thicker that the dramatically different moisturizing gel.I don't have at the moment major acne problems I mostly bought this to use it as a mattifying, lightweight moisturizer and I m not so happy with the results....I don't think that this product is the best way to treat your acne,If you have serious problem with acne I suggest you trying something else or at least ask for a sample first. One more think that is strange for me is that I v read in some reviews here that this moisturizer contains benzoyl peroxyed and I m 100% sure that this is not true I v checked many times the ingredient list and this product doesn't contain this ingredient. The only explanation that I can give is that maybe the product that is sold in the U.S.A market has different ingredients from the product that is sold here in Europe. As I said if you have serious acne problems try something else I don't believe in this product. As a moisturizer I have used better ones has slightly thicker texture and this is not the texture that an oily acne prone skin would like to have on.Leaves a thin, greasy film on the skin and doesn't control oil production at all. That good think is that didn't cause me any kind of problems

I liked this product at first. I have since got the dramatically different gel and find that much better and more gentle. This sometimes stung a little if I had a fresh spot or very dry skin (but this could have been from using the anti-blemish toner too).
It didn't make my skin any worse but didn't really clear up my skin. I would probably avoid if your skin is a little sensitive. Its always worth trying a sample first (Clinique SAs are usually pretty generous in offering samples) to test first.
I would imagine this would be better for much oiler skins rather than normal/dry-blemish prone like mine

Yes this moisturizer does reduce oil for oil skin. But it also makes it sting after a couple weeks of everyday use, and my face feels drier after using it.
Yes, it is in a practical and small tube for during the day moisture, but I would not really recommend it again. If you are looking for a good moisturizer for oily skin by clinique I would use the dramatically different GEL (not creme or lotion) which is magnificent. Also this gel smells much better, which kind of bothers me in this product.
