this reminds me of when i was a kid because my mom used to use it. I use it with my dr.bronner's almond soap and i feel like an almond joy! it smells delicious and is super moisturizing. It also comes in a giant pump which is convenient.

Love this stuff. This is the only body moisturizer I will use. I started using this product on whim about a year ago when I was searching for a new hand lotion to keep on my desk at work. I liked the pump on the bottle and the fact it was cheap and came in a big bottle so I bought it. I loved what it was doing for my hands so I purchased another bottle for home to use after I got out of the shower. Suave cocoa butter works wonders on my skin. It keeps it smooth and moisturized all day and doesn't irritate my skin as some moisturizers do. I also use this after shaving to prevent bumps and razor irritation, especially around my bikini area. Somehow it does give your skin a gentle glow (as one reviewer noted). I will continue using this as long as Suave continues to make it. A great moisturizer that isn't greasy, yet not watery either. Love it!!!!!

This is by far my favorite body lotion of all time. So moisturizing and it smells fabulous. I think it smells like a mix between hot chocolate and coconut. It doesnt make you greasy yet keeps your skin hydrated all day long. I refuse to wear anything else and if Suave ever discontinues it I will be devastated!

This has a fabulous velvety feel that I just enjoy. It isn't thick and gloppy like other brands. The smell is heavenly and natural and usually accentuates my other fragrance products. I dabbed a little of Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction fragrance lotion on and I smelled like marshmallows, or some scrumptious candy. This also moisturizes so well, and my skin appears to have a subtle glow after applying. I feel so complete when I have this on.

I love Suave's Cocoa Butter with Shea lotion. I bought this to replace the cucumber aloe one that I ran out of (which was also nice). This lotion has a nice consistency, it moisturizes just fine, but doesn't leave a greasy residue. Most of all, I love the chocolatey/vanilla scent. The scent is light and layers well under many fragrances. I agree that it's not a synthetic plasicky scent. It's nice by itself before bed, too - a faint scent of hot chocolate to drift off to dreamland to. :-) You might want something thicker or more emollient if you live in a cold climate or have extremely dry skin. My skin is on the dry side, but I find the consistency of this one is good, tho' I am in the deep south in a humid climate. You certainly can't beat the price.

This is an amazing product for the price. It is nongreasy and sinks right into your skin, though it has a runny consistency. I love the smell of this lotion too - it's not so much cocoa butter as chocolate. It's not synthetic or plasticky, but chocolate-y in just the right way and it doesn't last forever and sit on your skin, which is good because otherwise I'm sure it would get nauseating. For the price, you don't mind reapplying a few times a night either. It's an okay moisturizer, but I wouldn't expect anything terrific from Suave. This is a very nice product overall.

The skin on my body started getting drier than usual over the summer (while the skin on my face got oilier, go figure), so I bought this figuring it would be more moisturizing than the Suave Shave Minimizing lotion I was using. This was a little more moisturizing, and the scent is awesome, but it didn't do enough to cure my dry skin.

i'm a little conflicted about this lotion. first of all, i love the smell. it's so rich and chocolatey, but without the cherry-tobacco note that i get from the Palmer's stuff. i have eczema on my arms and my eyes, and this stuff has smoothed the heck out of them, it feels really soft for a long time, and it doesn't feel sticky or build up when i re-apply. however, it's hell on my elbows. i hadn't had a problem with my elbows for a long time, until i started using this lotion. they're peeling and dry, and i just keep applying more and more of this with no results. it's wonderful everywhere else though, including my face.would i repurchase? well, one of my elbows is peeling to the point where it's bleeding, and i think this lotion did it. but the rest of my body, including the spots where my eczema's really bad, is thanking me for using this. sorry, body, i'm gonna have to say no on repurchasing for now. there's a Vaseline cocoa+shea lotion out there that's alot better and the chocolate scent is even more dreamy and edible.the peeling came from this lotion. after switching to Vaseline Advanced Healing, my skin is smooth, but this time, my elbows aren't bleeding.

I think it was a great deal for the price. I was expecting a terrible lotion...but this stuff actually moisturized rather well! I use it on my legs after shaving to prevent dry skin...and it's great! I also really like the scent.

Mmmm, the scent is delicious! Not stong... but just the right amount! Smells just like cocoa (chocolate!) And the price is dirtcheap ($2.49 at Target) and comes in a big pump bottle. I love pump bottles! This stuff lathers and sinks right in. Makes me skin soft. My hands are a little sticky after applying it all over my body, but I just rinse it off. The only draw back... is ouch! I applied this too my legs (a day after I shaved, lol) and it...burns! I think I've experienced that with all of Suave lotions...especially the Skin Firming one. I have dry skin, especially ashy-dry legs in the winter/cold months...so I really haven't been able to notice/see any results... But the smell, price and softness will keep me repurchasing!!! :-)

THIS LOTION IS LOVE.
Okay, so first off I use many lotions and creams for diff reasons, this one is my all over after shower lotion, the best thing about it has to be the smell omggg, I have never liked any other cocoa butter anything the smell is just too over powering and not chocolatey enough, but the smell of this lotion is orgasmic lol. nah, but its just a wonderful smell, and it lasts for hours, It also leaves my skin verrry silky and smooth (i dont have all over dry skin, I only get patches, for those jergens ultra healing is the best IMO for dry skin) and silky skin is a very good thing, this is also the ONLY lotion that gets rid of the bumps I get on the back of my thighs from shaving, makes them totally dissapear and feel smooth, I will continue to use this lotion forever!

OK, so this isn't the most moisturising lotion out there but, who cares? It smells SO damn good! Plus it is so cheap. I have tried a few of the other d/s cocoa butter lotions out there and this one definitely is the yummiest smelling by far!

The product smells like a mix of suntan lotion and chocolate, and is dirt cheap! I found that the scent lingers for a few hours, too. I got a huge bottle for 2 bucks, so this will last me forever and it's a great value. It's much cheaper than the other drugstore brands like Aveeno and Lubriderm, but I don't find it to be as moisturizing. The packaging is plain and unisex. Nothing fancy here, just a softly scented, no-frills body lotion for someone who doesn't need much moisture.

I got this in cocoa butter way back when I knew how to compare products. First the lotion smells really nice, probably better than some of the more expensive cocoa butters out there. But this thing isn't very effective, it feels like your regular cocoa butter diluted with 3x water. It doesn't absorb very fast either. However, it is cheap and last a while (probably because of all the water that it's pumping out).

I love chocolate and this smell is divine. I slather it on once I get out of the shower and I instantly feel comforted. It's a great moisturizer additionally, with shea butter and cocoa butter....
