Age: 36-43   Skin: Normal, Olive, Warm   Hair: Brown, Wavy, Medium   Eyes: Brown

Pros: At $5, it's a deal, has SPF 3 Helioplex and comes in a convenient 2 oz. tube.

Cons: This hand lotion is more like sunscreen, which is exactly what it smells like. It was also a bit greasy and thick but did not have any moisturizing properties.

Verdict: I'll be looking for something that provides more moisture and has a more pleasant scent. I plan to return this tube.

I normally only rate products that could be beneficial to some degree and leave mediocre products be but this hand cream left such a horrible rash on my forearm, that it stayed for over a week. I would expect avenbenzone to affect my face but never my hands and arms. I have never had a rash like that in my life. Horrible!!!! Sadly this is an excellent hand cream without the SPF formulation. I was hoping I could use it in place of my titanium dioxide blocks so I would stop getting white residue on my car steering wheel. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! and this is coming from a huge neutrogena advocate.

Not the most amazing hand cream in terms of moisturizing, but it has excellent spf, and my hands ARE softer after putting this cream on. In general, even when I haven't applied, I noticed that the backs of my hand are smoother and softer from the protection. It's inexpensive for a hand lotion, absorbs fairly well, and doesn't smell too strong. Definitely recommended, and beats putting on hand lotion and having to follow with sunscreen on top of that!

this was one of the only hand creams i saw that had decent spf. it is slightly greasy and not as easily absorbed as some other hand creams and this may just be the formula or the sunscreen. it does kind of sit on the skin instead of completely absorbing. however, the reward of having fewer wrinkles on your hands is worth it, even if this cream is a little heavy

This would be a great handcream even if it didn't have sunscreen. It's not very similar to the regular Norwegian Formula handcream, which has a thick ointment-like consistency; this is a creamy lotion. It's creamy but not greasy, absorbs quickly, moisturizes well, doesn't sting hangnails. The only scent is the sunscreen smell which I like, and it fades quickly. Great durable purse-friendly packaging. I use it on my chest and forearms as well as hands when playing outside with the kids to prevent farmer tan.

I was thrilled to find an affordable, high SPF hand cream! Neutrogena had an SPF 20 hand cream years ago that was quickly discontinued. This kept my light hands freckle-free during a long, hot San Antonio weekend. I’ve liked Neutrogena’s Norwegian Hand Creams, especially the fast-absorbing formula. This version has a slight “sunscreen” scent, but not bothersome, and it is a nice, rich, but not greasy hand cream that absorbs quickly – this cream is good enough even without the added benefit of sunscreen. Plus, this comes in a 2 oz (56g) convenient tube that is great for travel. I will definitely be purchasing this again.

This smells and feels like a sunscreen and should not be considered a hand lotion. It is not moisturizing at all and makes my hands fell dry and rubbery. Will not purchase this again. I like the fast absorbing version or Nivea Smooth Results hand lotion. But my HG is still L'Occitane hand lotion. Going back to those.

This hand cream smells and feels like a sunscreen. It's not too moisturizing, which is tolerable for the summer time, but it balls up if I try to rub it in! when I apply this at my desk I find flakes all over my desk from this hand cream! I also think it's expensive for its size, consider it's a drugstore handcream. I haven't decided if I will repurchase yet. I just might use another drugstore sunscreen for body as hand cream because I can't really tell the difference.

This hand cream is amazing! I have used it several times a day for only two weeks and already see less freckles and discoloration. My hands look so much younger and smoother! My trick: I use it ONLY on the tops of my hands, the part most exposed to the sun, reapplying every time I wash them. I keep a tube in my desk at work, in my purse and at home by my kitchen sink. I also like that it doesn't have a strong scent. Fantastic results!

This is a new hand cream from Neutrogena, made with helioplex, spf 30. It comes in a small 2 ounce tube, similar to the regular Norwegian formula. It's white in color, has a light texture and absorbs quickly, yet leaves hands soft. No greasy residue, though I wish it were just a tiny bit more moisturizing. My 30-something year old hands are really starting to need the extra protection, so I'm glad it's spf 30 (package says it penetrates 6 layers deep). Also it smells nice, slightly like Coppertone. Beachy and light, I like it! This was $5.49 at Target.
