I love this product! It sets my whole make up PLUS it controls my shiny/oily t zone. Will repurchase when I run out. I recommend to anyone who wants to control shine without a heavy and caky feeling :)

I bought this on sale at Longs Drugs for 40% off, and from what I'd already heard it was pretty good, so I decided to give it a try.
It looked nice for like, the first 20 minutes it was on my face, but when it settled in it looked really gross.
I have large pores and greasy skin, so it definitely didn't help with camoflauging those, and ew, just really didn't give me the results I wanted.
Out of all translucent loose powders I've tried, this is definitely the worst, even compared to NYC and cheaper brands.
Very disappointed.

I had been searching for a translucent loose power for a long time and I was very close to shelling out $25 for the B.E. Mineral Veil, however, I spied this at Target on sale for $5 so I snagged it. I figured it would do for now and if I really hated it, I would give it to my much-less-oily sister. I find that this is an okay powder, nothing special. It does set my makeup nicely, it doesn't look cakey and it doesn't leave a white cast. Unfortunately, it doesn't really make my makeup last that long either. I get much longer wear time when I set my foundation with my MAC MSFN, but I don't always want the extra coverage. So, I only use this if I won't be out too long. It is a basic loose powder, great for beginners who aren't too oily.

This really gives hardly any coverage... Even the mineral powder foundations don't. Not that I'd expect much from a translucent, but my skin is so pale that I haven't been able to find ANY proper foundations that dont make me look orange. Honestly, it doesn't do anything, it's not matte, not shiny, not sparkly, it just kind of sits there. Another thing I hate is that because of the container design, you can't get the last of it out when it's almost used up. Not impressed.

I do like this powder the only problem is it tends to come off towards the middle of the day, which is kind of annoying. I am happy though that the shade is so light that it matches my skin! that is a great plus:)))!!

This powder is alright, for me, it looked fantastic as soon as i put it on (with or without a primer), but less then an hour later it just made me look orange and blotchy and I dont have really oily skin. It had buildable coverage but it will need to be re-applyed throughout the day. The brush it came with was really scratchy on my skin so I used my own brush.

This is an "ok" powder, but frankly there are betterones outthere. The included brush... my gosh the brush is poor quality, so hard and arrgh... nice of Maybelline, that they include a brush but I use my own. The powder itself is transculent but it doesnīt last very long and doesnīt seal the BB cream or foundation evenly. Even the lightest shade didnīt fit exactly but it was an "ok" match. As I said: all in all nothing special and you donīt miss anything if you skip this but itīs really not that ultra-bad, didnīt broke me out or caused irritations and if you take a little time on blending you an achieve an ok result. But for me itīs not enough, as I donīt want to spend 10 minutes just to make this work and in my opinion there are better drugstore mineralpowders outthere (LīOréal for example)..

I bought this when EA stopped making my HG powder and I was taking forever to decide on a new one. I definitely don't love it, but it's not the worst I've ever seen or anything. It goes on a lot more translucent than most d/s powders. The consistency was not fine enough for me. It looked "powdery" on my skin. The brush it comes with didn't work well in my opinion, so I used my kabuki. That helped a bit with the application but I still felt it looked too thick. I give this a "meh". I'd use it again in a pinch, but it's nothing special.

I'm not loving this, but I don't hate it. I bought this becuase I really needed a translucent powder and I'm running out of my BE Mineral Veil. The closest BE counter or even Sephora is 60 miles away and I normally order online. I'm still not sure if I'm going to order Prep+Prime or another Mineral Veil, so since I take forever to make decisions, I figured I'd try a drug store translucent powder. I was having a hard time finding one that wasn't a pressed powder and because fiance was rushing me (never take a man makeup shopping with you!), I settled on this, even though it has bismuth in it. First, I absolutely HATE the packaging. I could not for the life of me get the product to come through the sifter, so I had to get fiance to use a knife to pop the sifter off, which makes for a huge mess. So, sifterless, and completely out of BE, I tried this over Revlon Colorstay. My cheeks, forhead, and chin look pretty ok, but that might be the CS. However, my nose is already shiny. It's not even noon and I'm in a very air conditioned office! A closer look at my nose shows that the powder is just sitting on top and is almost melting away. Not a good look. And that's becuase I used too much on my nose becuase I didn't have a sifter and got too much on my brush. The rest of my face looks pretty good though. All in all, I would not buy this again. It does just a mediocre job and for the price, I expected it to do better. This will more than likely sit at the back of my makeup drawer. Next time, I think I'll try the NYC Translucent Powder.

I got this in an eBay lot, I do like it but I'd rather buy a mattifying powder. This is good for setting but does not absorb any oil so I get a shiny face in an hour...

Does the trick, However I will not buy again b/c its messy and bulky. I also want to try the ELF - Complexion Perfection , b/c i bet its just as good and pressed form, which i think i prefer. I will use this until i am finished.

This is the best powder, I have ever used. It takes away shine, and keeps oil away all day.
I use it over my foundation [ Revlon ] to set it.
I love this product, and I will be buying it again. =)
This brush does suck... I just throw it away, and use my own. But for the price, you can't really expect the brush to be all that great anyway.

first of all, its hard to get the powder out without making a mess. and the brush sucks...the bristles fall out easily. and the powder doesnt spread around my face well. probably the brush. but it all looks good, but an hour later, it looks like you didnt even put it on, so it really finishes nothing. wont buy again.

Bad, bad powder. It leaves an ashy appearance, doesn't last all day without you looking a little greasy. NOT RECOMMENDED.

This is the first and only loose powder that I have (and bought) so I can't really say that I like or dislike it. It does the job but I'm pretty sure there are better out there. Comes with a tiny brush but the brush is a bit rough. The jar is big and I've had it for awhile now. I use it to set my concealer and over my upper eyelids (they're oily) but after 4-5 hours, the effect fades and sets in on my fine lines. It does the job in preventing my eyeliner from smearing on my eyelids, though.

Ok. so I got this because I ran out of my bare minerals mineral veil, which is the best stuff ever. this stuff was cheap so i decided to try it and oh my god i'm in love. i have oily skin so it is near impossible to stay matte all day without my bare minerals but this did the trick just as good. the only complaint i have is that the jar squeaks when i open it and it wakes my husband up early in the morning. but other than that this stuff is great. i am definitely buying this again.

I haven't tried using this with mineral foundation or anything. I will try that this summer when I switch to using mineral foundation from liquid. It sort of leaves my skin looking ashy or filmy. I don't like that. I may not be a mineral kinda gal, I'm not sure. It's very finely milled and it hasn't caused any break outs for me, but I just am not too keen on this product because I don't see it doing too much. I will keep it on hand and report back later when I start using mineral foundation. Perhaps this is designed to only set that type of foundation. Oh, and I like the little kabuki it came with. It's so cute and it doesn't shed on me!

So basically I got this in a kit at Ross for five bucks with a concealer and foundation. Good deal I would say. The packaging on this thing sucks mine broke and it's kinda hard to get product out of it. I don't really notice a difference I just use it everyday because it makes me feel better lol. I have Elfs HD power on the way and I'm super excited. This product was a disappointment . Subscribe to my BLOG crazian-kifmaster.blogspot.com

i really like this stuff! it is a very good dupe for benefit's powderflauge (not as glittery though). i only use it to set my undereye concealer (because it's light pink it helps to brighten). i'm 30 so i do have some fine lines, but i don't notice any settling or cakiness (sp?). also, it lasts FORVER only using it under my eyes!!!!! i bought a backup because i know that in 10 years, when i finish using my current one (lol), this is be discontinued.
