I bought this to try something different - usually used Origin's A Perfect World serum. Discovered that I like this better than A Perfect World, but it's pretty pricey for the amount you get. I like the scent, and I have pretty sensitive skin, but it hasn't bothered me. Have finally decided that I will not purchase this again - just doesn't seem to do anything.

I adored this!! I think it's kind of expensive $20 for the little bottle, but it lasts so long!! I have pretty blotchy skin but not when I use this product, it also made it so smooth. I thought maybe my hormones had just changed and I had finally been blessed with great skin (I stopped wearing foundation altogether, just a dab of powder for shine every now and then) but then the inevitable happened- I ran out. My face broke out so bad after a tiny bit of mistreatment and it took me forever to et it back. The ONLY reason I haven't bought anymore is because I don't have a store here and I've been broke. Would DEFINITELY and WILL buy this again.

I like this, I was using idealist but was way too expensive! This replaced it well, plus I feel like my skin has some added zing due to the vit C. It doesn't clog my pores, and smoothes my skin tone, making my skin soft and my moisturiser more absorbent. Update 28 Novemeber: stopped using it, too harsh for my skin after a while made it slippy and uncomfortable. demoted from a four lipstick to a two.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination Hair: Brunette Eyes: Hazel
I'm road testing this as a cheaper replacement for Idealist at the moment. The texture of my skin and effect seem similar so far. I'm a little concerned about the orangey smell - I don't always do well with perfumed products.. I'll let you know how I get on!
**********************Update: I'm still using this daily and getting along fine. I prefer Smashbox Photo finish for some reason but I've ditched the Idealist and not repurchased when it ran out. I'm using up all my primer type products at the moment as I have too many open at one time. The crucial test will be which one I choose to repurchase!! (Will keep you updated!)
!*************************UPDATE 03/03/04 I'm sticking to Photo Finish I think. :¬(

I've been trying to find the ideal vitamim c product - and until I find it, this one works pretty well. It goes on very smooth and gives me an instant all over glow. It helps to even out my skin tone and I notice that my skin seems brighter all day when I use this in the morning. It doesn't clog my pores, and in fact seems to help when used in combination with other potentially pore-clogging products (like my old stand-by Kinerase lotion). I'm not sure this really helps with wrinkles, but for glow it's pretty good.

Felt like someone was pricking me with tiny little needles when I used this. Doesn't seem to absorb very well either. My face itched. I think I'm allergic to it.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination Hair: Red Eyes: Green
This made my face break out into red itchy hives almost instantly. I love C serum, but NOT this one... It does smell divine though.

I apply this serum after washing and toning my face. Just a little bit makes your skin feel very smooth and soft. There is a slight orangy scent to the product that doesn't bother me. Best of all it contains great antioxidents, water binding agents and moisterizers according to Paula Begoun which is how I decided to try this in the first place. I would compare this to idealist (but this is much more cheaper). Also, I notice with Idealist my skin still felt like it needed more moisterizer, with this product my face feels just right (I have normal/dry skin)
Update: 4/9/03 well i had to return this as I was starting to get lots of dry flakes and some itchiness on my face. I realize I'm allergic to this much Vit C in a protect. However, I still highly recommend for people to try since I probably had a not too common reaction.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Oily Hair: Red Eyes: Brown
This product works great for me. i have oily skin and have been advised by my beatician not to use creams. This serum comes handy with its own pump and dispenses just the right amount- great for carrying in handbag. The orange-y smell is a bit strong but quickly disappears, just like the serum which is easily absorbed and makes your skin noticably softer IMMEDIATELY! try it

Dried my already dry face. Made it super red and irritated. Will not buy again.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Dry, Olive Hair: Black Eyes: Black
It has a nice orange scent and it goes on soft and smooth on my face. But overall, this product does not change my skin in anyway. I've been using it for over 2 months and haven't noticed a difference.

As with any 'miracle products', I was very sceptical about the claims of this one, but bought it as a cheaper alternative to Origins 'A Perfect World' White Tea Skin Guardian. I reckoned that since it was less than half the price, but had similar ingredients, it would probably do the same job....and I was more or less right. This serum definitely evens out my normal/combination skin, and leaves it softer and finer. Definitely recommended.

While this product seemingly has the texture of hair gloss serum, it is a wonderful product.
Smells like oranges.
Helps give a glowy look. Also, perfect for keeping your foundation from sinking into your pores.
p.s. A little goes a long way, don't pump a lot out!
Updated 08/26/03: FYI, I tend to like this product better in the winter than the summer.
