I am in love with this powder! I recieved a sample when i bought the SilkNaturals foundation and i was pleasently surprised! I have oily skin and was just about to order AU$36 MAC Blot powder when i realised i could get a jar of this for about AU$15 including shipping! And this stuff is amazing!! As everyone has said it seems to diminish pores and make your face apear matte without it looking unhealthy!

When i run out of this, know doubt i will already be ordering it again!

I don't generally wear face/finishing powder.... which makes my face look too matte or dry or powdery. Silk Naturals' Perfection Powder is somethin' else. It is so sheer and light and has a wonderful effect on my pores that these days I cannot live without it. The finish is also soft and slightly glowy - a very natural healthy look. My skin actually looks good with this stuff. If you are Asian like me, I recommend getting the LOVE LURE version which has a golden-tan tint. (Don't get the DATE BAIT which is pinkish)

Love love love. I've been using a sample of this powder for the last week and have already ordered a full-sized one as living without it is unthinkable! It controls oil, set my mineral foundation and gives me an airbrushed-but-natural look and glow. Wonderful! I'm really loving this entire makeup line. It's affordable, eco-friendly, skin-friendly, and very customer responsive... just perfect.

First of this stuff looks like chalk in the jar. Now I'm supernaturally white, and even I was worried at the lack of color. But this stuff is just lovely. I use the Silk Naturals foundation mix of ivory and ebony, and top it off with this stuff to look more finished. The foundation makes my skin look so great, but also makes it appear like I have no foundation on. So I use this stuff to look more professional for work. It comes with a little puff, so you can take it with you in your purse. I bought two jars though, one for the purse, one for home. I apply the one at home with a foundation brush right after I put on the foundation. The ingredients in this stuff are super pure and natural. Love that. It blends in great, just a little dab, then swipe or buff with the puff or brush and it disappears into your skin. It just takes away the shine and evens out redness. Do make sure you rub it in though, otherwise the white powder on your nose will need to be explained! FYI: You get a small sample of this stuff free when you order the foundation.

I agree with the other 3 reviewers. This powder is excellent! SN actually has 3 perfecting powders - this one, date bait (bronzy pink) and Love Lure (golden tan). Love Lure is new.

Anyway, the untinted is lovely, lovely, lovely. Since trying SN I am going to have to ditch my EM, as SN is just so much better.

I had SN on yesterday - a mix of ivory & buttery gold foundation + the untinted perfecting powder. . Last night when my husband got home from work he said "you look very beautiful today". He said to the kids (ages 5 & 3.5) "doesn't mummy look beautiful today". It was very cute!

Yes, this stuff kicks bu*tt. :)

This is excellent powder! I was a fan of Fyrinnae's rice primer, but got tired of the crappy and slow customer service (really, 1-2 months to get your order? Get real!). This is an even better alternative. I use this as my only face makeup with some concealer when my skin is looking good, and over foundation or tinted moisturizer on other days. When I layer it over my favorite..DHC Light Lame Suncut, my skin looks amazing. Glowing, perfect, angelic. I love this product, and the customer service is excellent. Fast shipping and updates along the way of where your order is.

I have been using this as a finishing powder for several months now. It really is a great product. It has a translucent finish that blurrs imperfections. The price is great, too, at $10 for a 30gram jar. The packaging is pretty standard, but it works. My only wish: that it came in a larger size!!!!

I actually only have a sample of this right now, but I will definitely buy a full size once it runs out.

First, let me talk about the texture of this wonderful powder: it is so light and airy and finely milled, it isn't clumpy at all, like Everyday Minerals' silk powder. This goes on so nicely, and leaves this impeccable, airbrushed, ethereal finish. Rarely do people tell me "you look really pretty today" when I've been up for 16 hours, but some people did today! So that's a plus in my book.

The powder itself is white, unscented and has a tiny amount of shimmer in it that is undetectable once it is on your skin, so don't worry about looking like a disco ball. I have combination/oily skin, and this didn't make me look greasy AT ALL. In fact, it controlled my oil pretty well all day and I was running all over campus today for errands and class! It didn't leave any kind of white cast on my light/medium asian skin tone, but just made it look better than if I wasn't wearing any powder at all. Somehow, it is able to make red/ruddy areas less ruddy, even without a tint. It's weird, but it works!

Packaging is simple-- it's a plain sifter jar, nothing fancy, but hey, it does the job, so who cares. I believe the full size comes with a powder puff, but I use a goat hair kabuki to apply this fabulous powder all over my face.

This is the first product I tried from Silk Naturals, and I think I'll be ordering lots more of their products! I ordered several samples of their blushes also (only $0.75 each!), and I love them all!

You definitely want to try this product! (they also have a tinted powder called "Date Bait" that can be used by medium/darker toned gals, or as a bronzer!)
