Well well well, when I first went to see the To The Beach collection, I stocked up on as many Marine Life as I could find (3, if you're wondering) and swatched Hipness rather unexcitedly as an afterthought. I still stand by my judgement that if you get ML you don't need Hipness. BUT, and call me a heretic for saying this, I actually prefer Hipness! Reason being, ML is easy to overdo (à la NARS clown face syndrome) whereas Hipness is more natural and buildable. It's a wonderful summer reddish peach, like a mild sunburn almost, it blends perfectly with bronzer. And it's matte but with a soft sheen, as opposed to its advertised "frost" status.

This kind of shade really ought to be perm, it would suit a lot of skintones. This blusher lasts fairly well too, unlike some of MAC's more toned down shades. Oh and it's the only item in the collection that actually looked good in the lurid green somewhat hideous packaging. Value-wise, I think MAC prices are creeping up, and £16.50 is not a bargain, however I must admit I've been using this every day since I got it and I love it. So...Yes, Get it!!!

My third MAC blush this year, and I couldn't be happier with it. I think MAC is getting better and better at blushes! The color is a bright (but not TOO pigmented) coral-pink which does not exist in MAC's permanent line, but it should. Its similar to Fleur Power (which is one of my favorites) but it has more of a coral tone, perfect for summer and perfect for olive toned skin. Although the label says that it's a "frost" formula, the shimmer is very subtle; I really can't even see it. It adds just the right amount of color to my cheeks, makes me look healthy and awake. Get this one if you can!

I picked this up with its repromote in the To the Beach collection. It looks scary bright in the pan, but it's beautiful on. I don't detect much shimmer in either the pan or on the cheeks, but it's not entirely matte, either. It's buildable (I have to use a little extra now that my summer tan is in full swing), and I can see paler-skinned ladies needing to use a light hand at first. It's a perfect color for summer, a nice bright pink without being too harsh or obvious. I don't go through blushes quickly, but I would definite purchase this one again in the future if I could find it at a CCO or if it's repromoted again.

I bought this from the To the Beach collection. When the SA tried it on my cheeks in the store, I thought it was too orange. But since there were only 3 left, I bought it. In regular lighting, and with a light hand, this is a very pretty pinky coral colour on my cheeks. It looks great on my currently tanned skin. Normally I'm NC 25, but I'm a little darker right now.

I purchased this blush from the recent MAC collection ' To the Beach' .......when I found out this was being repromoted I was super excited, because I have only gotton into MAC cosmetics the last year, and missed out so many great collections (including Fafi-which this was released with first). When I first got this, the color terrified me- I personally opt for more earth toned blushes, I do like pinks when I do a bronze/brown smokey eye though. Anywho, when I first tried this I had not yet discovered my HG of blush brushes (the QUO blush brush, which is fabulous!) and the brush I was using picked up to much color and it applied blotchy- so I never really reach for this until recently. The color goes on smooth, and nicely pigmented. In the pan, this has tiny flicks of glitter, but goes on fairly matte- I would say there is a *slight* sheen. This blush is so 'Baby Doll' like and looks gorgeous with any look. Im super happy I tried this :)

This blush is currently being repromoted with the To The Beach collection which is when I picked it up. I originally had intended to purchase the Marine Life highlight powder, but I was upset to see that every store was sold out. The sales associate turned me towards this blush. I swatched it next to Marine Life, and it is SO similar. The only basic difference is the texture. I really love this blush because it gives you a great flush without being unnatural. I highly recommend it and I hope it is re-repromoted in the future.

i bought this from the recent to the beach collection, ive been abit crazy lately and bought 4 peach blushers that are almost identical, i have to stop this before i become bankrupt. i got ripe peach blush ombre, marine life highlight powder (but its really a blusher) instant chic blush and hipness blush. out of them all if i had to choose the nicest i would choose hipness, its a nice peachy colour, not too pink or orange and has a nice finish to it. no more peach blushers for me, especially when i have about 5 other peach ones in my collection also ha ha.

Love it! I am about NW20 in skin tone and this blush makes me cheeks glow wonderfully. Great summer color, but I could see myself wearing it year round.

It is quite pigmented, so a little goes a long way. I'd also like to add that despite it being called a frost, there is nothing frosty about this blush- a delicate shimmer is more like it.

I really, really wanted to love this blush. I'll admit, I was lured by the pretty packaging. It is part of the To the Beach collection, and a repromote from the Fafi collection. I have fair, warm toned NC15 skin so I figured I could pull off coral blush. Unfortunately, when I apply this it just looks "wrong". It appears as though as I applied bronzer, which I loathe at all costs. It appears in the pan like it has enough pink in it to balance the orange, but on my skin it translates differently. I have been looking for a peachy blush for ages that works with my fair skin, and this is sadly not it. However it truly is a gorgeous blush with great pigmentation, and with a smooth, satin finish and subtle sparkles that are hardly noticeable on skin. I can imagine that light-med and dark skintones will definitely appreciate this blush. I gave it to my mother who has NC25 skin, and it looks gorgeous on her and lights up her face.

this is soo pretty, i got it from the mac to the beach collection and i love the packaging. the color looks soo scary in the pan but when you use a light hand it looks soo good on fair skin, beautiful summer blush. the only thing is the if i use a really dense brush or the bristles are packed tightly i can look like a bright cheeked clown but i found the perfect brush for it.

I was so excited to see that this was being re-promoted for the To the Beach collection!!! This was originally in the Fafi collection a couple years back and I loved it then and still love it!!! It's a great summer blush. Sort of a coral pink, very lovely! I bought a backup of this blush because I like it so much!

Got this from the beach collection. This is a really nice coral pink that is vibrant without being garish. It's pretty pigmented but I build it up gradually so I don't get those dreaded clown cheeks. I notice some micro-fine silver shimmers in the pan but they don't show up on my cheeks. Lasts all day without fading. Great for summer time!

This is the only item I got from the "To the Beach" collection. It is a beautiful blush; bright pink/coral colour! I absolutely adore it. It is very pigmented and buildable as well. As others have mentioned, it does have shimmers in it but aren't noticeable on your skin. Also, this blush is categorized as a "frost."

Overall, I think this blush would be flattering on every skintones. If you're hesitant in getting something from this collection, I would at least get this blush since it is sooo beautiful.

I think this blush, Marine life, and Instant chic are all VERY similar. Instant chic is the lightest of the three without a doubt, but marine life and hipness are nearly identical when swatched side by side on my hand. I think if you have this blush, then you def. don't need Marine Life, and if you have marine life, then you don't need this blush.

bought this from the To The Beach collection and I must say, i really like it. i tested it yesterday for a little bit and i thought it was missing some umph but today, i decided to actually wear it out. i received so many compliments and there were so many people who thought i was a model or something. lol. it's a nice pink flush on my nc35 skin. just be careful not to get too much or i have a feeling it will look TOO pink and make you look somewhat of a clown. otherwise, i'm very happy i decided to buy this before it ran out.
