I bought this in 3 colours, the eggplant, black and bright blue. I was pleasently surprised with this liner.

I figured I would take a chance and, if worse came to worse, use it for something else. I used the bright blue today and was really impressed. It spreads really easily across the lid and lower lashline, and once set, it didn't budge. It was almost 40 degrees C today and it didn't move. While I found it a little difficult to get a really thin line, it worked great for a slightly thicker, smudged line (which I usually wear, little less than an eighth of an inch or so) and was really bright! I did a lime green/purple shadow look with it today and got soooo many compliments.

I haven't tried it on my waterline yet, and I'm still waiting to try the other colours I bought (the blue is just so cool!), but so far, I'm loving it.

Omg i think i found my HG! I bought this today at target. I was going to get the maybelline master drama gel liner but decided to get this instead because it is only 3 bucks. I put it on as soon as i got home and it glided on so smoothly it lasted all day without smudgeing. I gave it a 4 because it didnt last that long ( approxemently 3 hrs) on my waterline. So i decided to use the cream liner on my upper lash line and use my master drama liquid eye pencil on my water line since i have no probs using it on my waterline.
Another plus about this cream liner is that i even went swimming with this on and when i got out of the pool it was still on. It did smudge just a little bit but other than that it stayed put all day.i will definently be repurchasing this.

Despite being a "makeup addict," I only began wearing eyeliner a couple of years ago. In learning how to apply it, I tried just about every form of eyeliner there is, and quickly realized it's a lot more challenging to apply eyeliner to older eyelids than, let's say, eyelids in their twenties!!

Liquid and felt-tip liners "feathered." It was next to impossible to draw an even line with a pencil liner on skin that's become a bit "lax." Cake liners were okay, but consistently getting the right ratio of water to product was a bother.

Enter gel/cream liners....perfect!! Finally I could concentrate on learning technique, as opposed to trying to make a product incompatible with my lids work the way it should.

I tried several brands, and finally settled on the Coastal Scents Gel Liners, which were offered in a wide variety of colors at a very reasonable price. Yea!

Then Coastal Scents discontinued them. Not happy.

While browsing in Target one day, I discovered the E.L.F. Creme Liners, and picked up the black and brown. I really liked the price; 3.00 apiece!

I've found the E.L.F. liners to work just as well as those I used to purchase from Coastal Scents. I do NOT use the brush enclosed with the product - I've found the best applicator *for me* is just a fine, straight liner brush.

The color applies smoothly, is opaque, and lasts all day. I cannot comment on its ability to stick to the waterline, as I have "oily tears" and NO product, waterproof or not, lasts more than an hour or so on my waterline. (If you can't get anything to last on YOUR waterline, this is something to consider. I wear contact lenses, and always had to throw away my contacts if I had a good cry, because they'd become cloudy and I could NOT get the cloudy film off the lenses. I asked my opthamologist about it, and she said I must have "oily tears." Lightbulb moment! Obviously, if my tears are oily, THAT is what causes any liner I put on my waterline to wear off - the oil in my tears are dissolving it. And here I was blaming whatever brand I had been trying for the product not being truly waterproof.....)

In any case, the E.L.F. Creme Liner works great, and I now have several colors. Like all gel/cream liners, it probably will dry out before you've used all the product, but it only costs 3.00. I'd rather replace a 3.00 product that's dried out than one that cost me three or more times as much!

I took off one lippie only because I wish E.L.F. offered as many colors as the Coastal Scents Gel Liners did!

This is my staple eyeliner, I kid you not. It lasts a good 10 hours and no smudging, waterproof to a good extent, and it goes on so smoothly! The only problems I have with it is the packaging, it's in a plastic container and after about 5 months (it lasted nearly 6!) it started to dry out.

I love this cream eyeliner. I find that I have to use a lot of it because it doesn't appear very pigmented if I don't cake it on my waterline. It runs off a little in the corners.

i got two of this product on a spree since it's dirt cheap even compared to any drugstore eyeliner.i got mine one in black and another in copper.i only use the copper pot.the thing is i only used this eyeliner twice and then it dried up.so i let it in the pot for quite some time until one day i start using it as my own brow kit when i lost my brow definer pencil.i've grown to love it then it comes to the point that this eyeliner had shrunk one third of it original size and dreadfully dried.it's predictable for it price but not tolerable for not functioning as it should.if you feel like trying it,never let my review make drawback as i never heard any complaint from my sis who received my second black eyeliner.

I love this eyeliner!! I usually use liquid liner pens, but I wanted to try this kind. The application is so easy, and I'm finally able to do the cat-eye look, which I hadn't been able to do with liner pens or regular eye pencils. I paid 1 dollar for this eyeliner! Just 1 dollar! I think that's an awesome deal. The only drawback, in my opinion, is the brush. It's very small.

Very comparable to high-end cream liners. The only drawback is that by the end of the day, it could slide off easily if your fingers accidentally run against it. It's bearable though, since you could just reapply a thin layer to fix that up. Very intense black... love! Great price, too. $3 for one I believe

Bought this in black to do my cat eye. I generally use pencil than go over it with eyeshadow as I prefer a thicker, softer cat eye. For me liquid is to harsh but I do like the intensity of liquid. This stuff is the best of both worlds. I can create a thick cat eye quickly with the depth/intensity of liquid but the softness of pencil/shadow. Goes on sooo smooth, its easy to apply but dries quick and stays so you need to take care- its not mistake friendly. The little brush that comes with it does work ok, surprisingly, but I still recommend using a better brush.I really like this stuff and may just throw out my pencils!!! Make sure to recap tightly to prevent drying out.
