First I would say that this product definitely runs a shade lighter than other BB foundations so pick carefully before buying!
That said, this is a great foundation, close to HG for me. I have pretty decent skin with a few blemishes here and there from the odd spot and it gives great coverage for a light/medium coverage foundation, covering almost all blemishes with just one layer. Usually one pump is enough to do my whole face so it's pretty economical. I am a big fan of BB foundations and I would say that this is a good halfway between BB TM and BB Moisture rich. I tend to wear this for uni/work & nights out and it gives lovely dewy coverage that isn't too heavy and very comfortable to wear. It is very natural, skin foundation is the perfect name for it as it does look like my skin but better. It has great staying power and can easily last 12 hours without touch ups (but I wear MAC Sheer Select Powder over the top usually so that probably has an effect too). Don't think I'll try any other foundation for a while, maybe it's a HG, only time will tell.
Shades: Summer - Honey (5), Winter - Warm Natural (4.5)
Downsides: expensive but hey, that's BB I guess. Packaging can get a little messy (foundation all over the pump lid. It lives on my counter and I don't travel with it so why?)

Edit: I now love this so much it's been bumped from everyday wear to night wear/special occasions only-it's too good and too expensive! This is definitely HG material for me. I can come home from dancing all night and my makeup still looks perfect. Bobbi's definitely onto a winner with this one.

Original review:

After choosing the wrong formula with the luminious foundation, I bought this one. A nice hydrating foundation and its been said and I agree: Your skin but better.
Skin type: This is best for normal or combo skin. Oily skin might find it too shining and dry skin might want a richer formula.
Price: Expensive. I paid 40 Euros in Germany.
Package: Nice pump dispenser.
Colour: Matches my skin perfect in sand 2. Even in sunlight, it looks like I have no makeup on my face. Im a Mac NC 20.
Coverage: Light to medium coverage. For covering my spots or the redness round my nose I use the foundation stick.
I love this because it makes my skin look better but doesnt dry out or leave my skin feeling uncomfortable. I never have to worry if I look overdone with this foundation. Never broke out from this.

Update 22/11/2014:

I have to update this review as I rate this even higher now. Why? I got an extreme outbreak of rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis last year and it left me with almost no options in skincare and make up. My skin got from sensitive to hypersensitive in top of being clog-prone.

Plus, I avoid sunlight on my face and are always slathered in sunscreen and had ruby laser for my pigment spots. As a result, my skin went even more pale (was MAC NC 20 and BB Sand before).

My tries with other foundations (Chanel, Dior, Estee Lauder) left me with burning skin and/or wrong foundation shades.

But this foundation not only manages to suit my hypersensitive skin. It also provides shades light enough for my skin. I mix Porcelain with Warm Sand now and get the perfect match for my skin.
Sand became too dark and peachy for my skin while Porcelain was too pale and rosy and Warm Sand too dark and yellow. The inbetween shade -Warm Ivory- was too yellow on my skin. The SA recommended me to mix Porcelain with Warm Sand and I have the perfect shade for my skin.

I know it is expensive to pay so much to buy 2 shades of a foundation, but Im very critical when it comes to matching my foundation to my skintone. To make this more difficult, I have more yellow undertones in my body skin and more redness and less yellow tones in my facial skin. Trying to get a happy medium is difficult, but I want my foundation to look as natural as its possible. Lisa Eldridge has a lovely guide to foundations and one specific guide for foundation shades:
http://www.lisaeldridge.com/video/25670/how-to-find-the-right-shade-of-foundation/
This helped me so much in testing and finding the right foundation shade.

The foundation manages to look good despite my sometimes dehydrated skin with dry patches. I dont expect miracles as it is hard for any foundation to cope with my weird skin issues. But this manages the job surprisingly well without clogging my skin.

I apply it with a foundation brush and it still really looks like skin and even melts into my skin.

I feel comfortable wearing this as it hides the redness around my nose and chin and makes my skin look more polished and beautiful.

The first thing I have to say is that this foundation runs a full shade light compared to Bobbi Brown's other foundations, at least in my shade. I'm a sand in every BB product I've tried and in this foundation, beige is my perfect match.

With that said, I love the invisible coverage of this foundation. It looks like skin, just better and more even skin. The very liquidy texture takes some getting used to, but after that, I love it!

I switched to this after I found the Moisture Rich not working for me. This too gives that "dewy" look, but not as much. It runs a little light though. It is pretty sheer, but it feels so nice on your face.

I will wear this on weekends, but it doesn't stay on for a work day. It's a great foundation, but my cons are:
- Dewy finish doesn't work well with oily skin - I would need to blot by the time I got to work
- Not much coverage - but again, it's great for weekend play.

It's summer right now so maybe I'll love this when my skin gets a tad less oily in the winter. Might repurchase, but will look for a better foundation in the meantime.

Being Indian, it is extremely hard for me to find the right shade of foundation and I have been struggling with it for a while. I have tried the lancomes and the estee lauders with no luck. Finally I went to the Bobbi Brown counter and got this foundation last year winter. Now, I dont use this foundation on a daily basis simply cause I dont like wearing makeup daily. Since this foundation is yellow based it matched my skin color very well even during the summer months when I usually have an unwanted tan. It does not get oily over the hours and stays put. It covers my problem areas fairly well. I usually get a few drops on my fingers and then apply it to my face. I just feel like that makes the foundation blend better. It lasts forever!!!
There are some cons, price is too high and it is a lil watery which can make it a little hard to handle but in the same sentence, its liquidy nature helps it blend very easily.
So all in all great product for oily skin, will definately repurchase unless I just get an urge to try something new.

I like this foundation but I find that Maybelline Fit Me is quite similar and not $46! Will not repurchase this one but I do love everything else by Bobbi Brown :)

Love this foundation. I don't have a lot of skin issues, so it provides the even skin tone I need. Unlike heavier foundations, it doesn't accent my post menopausal "fur face". Great in the summer, winter needs a primer to help if smooth evenly. I apply with my fingers, use a bit off the lid if I need to conceal anything. Use the Warm Ivory color and it's a good match for me.

Very shiny looking. Not matte. Like a tinted moisturizer but still TOO MUCH COVERAGE for good skins. Color range VERY VERY YELLOW, regardless of how light or how dark you go. I tried Porcelain and it was still too yellow/orangey/peachy funny looking for me. Alabaster was lighter, but it was the only shade that has pink undertones, the sales person said, so I couldn't wear it. Go figure. And all the sales people look absolutely JAUNDICE w/ this ultra yellow crap on their faces. This is for Asian skin. Plus the fact that it has a chemical sunscreen in it, when the consensus on chemical sunscreens says they do more harm than good, was not a selling point for me. Will not purchase and threw away the sample.

I've been using this foundation for over half a year now and I have to say I really like it. I don't have a lot of breakouts or scars so it makes my skin look almost flawless and for the spots that I do need to really cover up, I would just use a little bit of concealer (like the user mka87 says). My favorite thing about this foundation is that it's very lightweight so I don't feel like I have pounds of makeup on my face. It evens out my skin tone while letting my skin breathe. I like to stiple it on with a foundation brush and set it with my MAC studio fix powder and it does the job when I'm not overly active. If I'm working and walking around a lot or it's a very hot day, I may need to set it again with the powder once or twice or it'll start to feel a little bit oily.

A foundation should even out skin tone; not cover all flaws (that's the concealer's job!) and this light weight formula does exactly that. For years I've worn MAC studio fix fluid, and although it photgraphs particularly well - the look isn't so natural in the flesh. After a couple of weeks rest from the Studio fix fluid I went into Bobbi Brown to have a gander at their price range and the assistant tried some foundations out on me. I know very little about my skin type (although have always assumed i'm combination/oily) - I was advised that I only needed a sheer foundation cos my skin was in good condition, and was thus, reccommended this. When I saw the finish of this in the shop I instantly bought it. On reflection I wish I'd taken a sample home first. Not because I don't like it, but because it takes a while for your skin to adapt to a new product. This one is a bit more expensive but it feels goregous on the skin - so natural and light. It melts into the skin and looks beautiful. Finally, with a bit of my Mac Mineralise Skinfinish, this lasts most of the day. It definitely doesn't last as long as the likes of Estee Lauder Double Wear or Mac Studio Fix, but at the end of the day, it's a much sheerer coverage. I can get a bit shiny looking towards the end of the day, but a bit of blotting and you're good to go. If you don't need a high coverage, this really is a lovely foundation. The BB assistant told me to stay away from matte products, go for a sheer coverage and cover any further blemishes with a concealer if necessary. I took her advice and my skin has never felt better. I'm so glad I've ditched the MAC foundation. Now my skin can breathe.

EDIT** I think this broke me out. Such a shame as the finish is so natural. It doesn't wear well but thats nothing a bit of blotting can't sort. A real shame. I will keep this for my summer holidays, and assess it again then. A real shame as this is a genuinely lovely product.
