I am shocked by how much I love this foundation. I was very disappointed in BB"s Luminous Foundation, which I had high hopes for, so I wasn't sure how this would work. But I'd heard the raves, and then I got it in a great swap with a super UK MUAer. And I LOVE it. I have it in Alabaster, and it is perfect for my NW10-15 cool-toned fair skin. I tend to alternate foundations, and when I've been wearing this, at the end of the day I will think, "Which foundation did I wear today" because it is just so great for me. And lately it's been BB Skin. It wears BEAUTIFULLY, looks natural. Skin is just FABULOUS for my normal/dry pale 43-year-old skin. I highly recommend it and will repurchase when I use this bottle up (which I will).

I was going to wait to write a review for this, but just couldn't wait! wanted to share with everyone how amazing this foundation is. I went to BB to buy their TM, but they no longer carry it (it's being reformulated, and the SA said they don't know when it'll come back out). She recommended using a light foundation, but I've never liked the idea of looking as if I have make up on. But of course I let her try, and of course I loved it.
I got Sand (2). It's really sheer, even more so than their TM IMO. So if you're for full coverage, don't buy this one. It gives me the perfect no-makeup natural makeup look, if that makes sense... As if I have perfect skin. Since I was worried of looking too made up, the SA recommended using just one pump. If you want more coverage, I'm sure you can apply more.
I just have my fingers crossed that it doesn't break me out!!

I use this is Alabaster 00, and it is the only foundation I have ever found that matches my very pale skin. It is very runny which makes it sometimes difficult to apply with a brush without getting streaks (maybe I just need a better brush?) but once applied it looks pretty nice. The consistency is maybe a little too watery for my skin as I get quite an oily t-zone, but with GOSH Velvet Touch Primer underneath and translucent powder over the top it's usually fine. When applied straight to my skin it occasionally sinks into my pores, so if you have larger pores or oiler skin I'd definitely recommend using primer with it. The colour range is really good, and I feel like the foundation is generally good for my skin as it uses a lot of natural ingredients. The price is a lot more expensive than what I'd normally pay for foundation at £29 but generally I'd say it's worth it. The coverage is light/medium and buildable, so if you have bad acne/scarring it might not be great for you, but if all you need is an evening out of colour then it's perfect.

After being and avid clinique user for most of my teen yrs and my early 20s, I noticed that my foundation was suddenly (honestly from like day to night I noticed the change) too pink for my face. Inside my house it looked perfect, in the sunlight, not so much. I blame it on the fact that my skin is changing, but there's nothing I can do about that. anyways I wanted a foundation with a yellow undertone, and I read that Bobby Brown was the HG for yellow undertone foundations. So I headed over to the BB counter. The SA was extremely nice and after I told her what I was looking for in a foundation she gave me the skin foundation to try. she gave me enough to last one week. so I went home to try it. I started testing it out the next day. The color was a perfect match! It looked as if I was wearing no makeup, and although I told the SA I was looking for a lot of coverage, and she said I could build on this one, it didn't provide the coverage I was looking for. I had to use a lot of concealer. I also noticed that after an hr or so both my t-zone, and my chin, were extremely oily. That wasn't the case when I was using my clinique. I think that's the reason the makeup didn't last on me more than 4hrs. I think this foundation is best for a person who is looking for light coverage, and someone who isn't oily as well. I ended up going back to the SA and telling her about my oil problem, she then gave me the Bobbi Brown Natural Finish- Long Lasting Foundation SPF 15 which has worked out much much better for me.

First of all, I have normal/combination skin that is pretty clear to start with. I have a few large pores on my cheeks and some virtually unnoticable broken capillaries underneath my nose and on the apples of my cheeks but no acne or scarring. I have an olive complexion with golden undertones and can use either Natural (4) or Warm Natural (4.5) depending on how much sun I get.
This is my HG foundation.
Its somewhere between sheer and medium coverage and I totally agree with what another reviewer said about it being a "my skin but better" foundation. I use the smallest amount and it spreads like moisturiser, what I am left with is "my skin but better" . Its so hard to describe the effect because you can still see my skin, but it looks totally flawless and glowing. I dust with my trusty Laura Mercier Translucent setting powder and it keeps my complexion looking perfect all day (even after a workout) and doesn't oxidise. The price is pretty hefty for the amount you get (30mls) but I use such a small amount each day that I don't mind it too much. I will continue buying this as long as they sell it...and if they ever discontinue it then I will buy it at any price on Trademe or Ebay lol
Try it ;)

I have been on a serious foundation hunt. This is a great product for me. About me: normal skin with some dryness, especially in the winter. large pores, some blemish control issues, no acne or acne scaring.
This foundation is great coverage (buildable, easy to apply a light layer or more if needed). Great realistic, non-cakey, non splotchy coverage. Good glow with out being too matte or too shiny. Feels good. Doesn't clog pores. Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Stays true to color throughout the day. Doesn't sweat off easily. Doesn't settle in my pores.
Its good. I don't like the "pump" style bottle it is packaged in, but can't win them all. I also think $50 USD for foundation is a bit much (it retails for $45 but with tax its nearly 50).

I bought my Skin Foundation in Taiwan last month after hearing great reviews about it. I like it but I won't really buy it again. Don't get me wrong it's a quality foundation and really looks natural but I want something that will give my skin that extra glow ( like j.lo :P ). I like it but I'm not in love with it.

So this is the foundation I always seem to fall back on! I don't think it's my HG but it certainly ticks alot of my boxes. these are:
- Natural 'skin-but-better' finish
- Build-able coverage
- Perfect colour match - 'Sand' in summer and 'warm ivory' in winter is absolutely spot on for my NW20 skin tone
- Does not cause break outs
- Doesn't become blotchy or change colour throughout the day
So why isn't it 'perfect' - well I have an oily t-zone and after about 6 hours of wear ontop of an oil free moisturiser my nose is very noticeably oily and I need to blot for oil every hour on-wards. I have tried using a translucent powder to set it but trust me this does not help! In fact I think using a powder on top of this just makes everything 10-times worse! For some reason this foundation does not react well to a powder.
Also - sometimes the coverage just isn't enough and I can't be bothered building it up - as it takes about 5 mins in-between applications to build this foundation up correctly. So if I am having a bad skin day this an't the best confidence booster. But in saying that I feel like it allows my skin to recover from breakouts alot quicker.
So I still love this foundation and will probably re-purchase.

I didn't have this product long enough to know if it would have made me break out, or made me super oily but i can speak on how the it first feels on the face and the color ranges.
I like how this foundation feels on my face and how it evens out my skin and doesnt look cakey or anything.
I was bummed that there wasnt a color that i liked for myself. Golden was a bit too dark, Warm Honey was too orange, and Honey was too light.
But for anyone who could possibly find a match i would recommend trying it out this foundation for a natural look.

This product did live up to its hype. It goes on easily and looks natural. I have sensitive skin so I've always been scared to wear liquid foundation, afraid that it'll clog my pores and break me out. This product is great. Looks just like skin like it says and gives good coverage. Very pleased with the product. Will definitely repurchase when I run out. It lasts a long time too.
Edit: After 3 weeks of using it, I started to break out. :( It's just too oily for my skin. I really loved the way it looked on my skin though. How unfortunate.
