I was expecting more of a dark peachy-golden pigment, but on me Melon looks orange and too golden and sparkly. (I'm an MMM btw). Also, since I don't wear goldens much, I don't see any point in keeping this. So it'll be going back. I could maybe make this one work, however it would take too much effort and I would rather just stick to the "rose gold" pigment. Even though I don't like the shade, I gave "melon" 3 lipsticks since it is versatile and its MAC =)

I love all MAC pigments, but I find myself using this one the most. The colour and shimmer isn't too overpowering and the jar will last forever!

Love this shade. Its a warm melon that shimmers w/ lots of gold. This is perfect on the brow bone. I've worn it alone on the lids w/ liquid e/l on top it gives me a very sexy look. Will repurchase.

Melon looks like a gorgeous, shimmery peachy pinkish melon in the tub, but it goes on a boring, warm gold. I have tons of other colors like it, and even though it looks pretty good on me, I wouldnt buy it again because its not what I was expecting.

I didn't think I could wear this shade, but I surprised myself. On me (MAC NC35) it is a gold/melon hybrid. It works as a soft, shimmery golden wash over the eyelid. This will look better in the summer, I'm sure of it. Not a bad shade, but I'm taking off a lip 'cause I wish it looked more melon on me! I have to wear Rose underneath it to make a more melon-y color. But not bad - I just can't resist shimmery pigments!

This is a really pretty orangey-gold shimmer. I received a sample of this as part of a swap. I was pleasantly surprised that it actually didn't look too bad on my PPP complexion. It has excellent staying power, and by the end of the day the colour was still true. This colour would not be suitable for everyone, so I would highly recommend testing it out before buying.

I generally have problems with orange coloured eyeshadows but i thught this was more peachy and would maybe work as it was so pretty in the pot.....I was wrong good product just a bad shade

I have a lot of trouble with yellow/orange colours, and this one was no exception. Very pretty in the jar (light coral with shimmer), but too light and too yellow for my Asian medium skin.

I like this color. It's a kinda coral, gold, pinky color. I have olive complexion with green eyes and dark hair, and I think it looks great. A color I can wear to work or intensify it and dress it up to go out with. I love all the pigments and would definitely recommend it to anyone willing to try it out.

I love this! It's one of the "grainy" pigments, but I kind of like that. You just have to watch so you don't end up with big chunks on your cheeks. The color is a lovely warm orange with greenish-gold shimmer. It looks great by itself, or with just a dark brown liner, but is also lovely combined with other colors. And it looks wonderful over MAC paints.

I got this with last year's mini-pigments & glitters set. I ended up swapping it or giving it away because the color just didn't work for me. I'm a PPP with a ruddy complexion, dark brown hair & eyes. It's not the pigment's fault -- just the color didn't work on me as I can't wear colors in the orange/yellow/peach/coral-family -- which this pigment falls into.

I hear Nelly Furtado wears this. This is a nice melon pink colour with a golden shimmer. It would definetely suit blue, brown, and green eyes nicely.

I love the melon pgiment. It doesn't work that well on me, since my coloring is pink and doesn't do well with god/orange shades. I just love to look at it. It does look great with blue eyes. I've been mixing it with my rubiglow earth powder and moisturizer to make a beautiful shimmery bronzer. I don't like the packaging of the pigments, but I also can't think of how to improve it...
