I too smelled white berries the first time I tried this. Quite bizzare. It's a heady, marevlous mix of orange blossom, bergamot, tuberose, jasmine, iris and lily of the valley. It is indeed a scent as potent and seductive as the woman who wears it. One of my all time favourite perfumes.

Too strong, fruity, and sweet. Gagged me right away. Too bad. I wanted to like it because I'd heard such great things about it, but I was seriously disappointed.

Ugh. Not for me at all. It's a really slap-you-in-the-face type of scent, something floral and nasty. I guess I should have known better than to try it,since I don't like most florals. I really wish it would fade faster,as I cannot seem to wash it off.

I have found a scent that I will always have around. This is so good. It starts out with a burst of orange blossom and tuberose. This is a thick, LUSH, wrap around you tuberose. It is *that* enveloping (you get lost in it) without being too strong. It does not have that "perfumey, make your head hurt" quality. I love it and find it to be a very beautiful scent. Someone said La Chasse is "diet" Fracas, I agree. The initial burst is like La Chasse only "La Chasse to the 10th power". *That* is what I wanted La Chasse to be. Now, I like La Chasse but it doesn't last very long and now that I have tried Fracas, La Chasse isn't *as* appealing as it was. This is definitely one to try.

Fracas started out divinely sensual, rich and heady in a good way. I could see how this could be a very addicting fragrance if it works with your chemistry. Unfortunately for me, after about an hour, it dried down to this mellow, apricoty (!!!) barely there ghost of a scent on me. Waaaah! I wanted to like this a lot!

I fell in love with this fragrance the first time I encountered it. Men notice this scent and have complimented me on it. I feel it's on the subtle side, even though others here don't think so, but I don't apply much at a time. My husband loves this and I feel very sexy wearing it. It's my signature scent.

This fragrance has the longest staying power of any I've ever tried. It's not for sensitive noses!! All you need is a little mist and you're good to go for the entire day. The tuberose is very intense and heady, this is a very sexy scent that would be a great for a night out b/c the scent heats up & intensifies when it hits your skin. I will definitely finish off this bottle which is rare for me.

I so want to like this scent but I just dont. I have tried it again and again and never am pleased. It seems to be so many peoples favorite. I guess it just does not smell good with my chenistry. I like the bottle.

I received a Neiman's catalog some time ago, and I smelled this lush, sweet, floral as soon as I opened the mailbox, it was almost deja vu (it smelled some comfortingly familiar). I immediately turned to the fragrance insert and found Fracas. I pulled it out, and for about the first ever, I used the paper sample before I went out! I ended up purchasing it from a super-lovely MUAer, and while I don't wear it very often, I do love it. I do get a lot of compliments when I wear it too.

this perfume is one of my favorite fragrances. the gardenia in this is what really attracted me to the scent rather than tuberose. i feel regal whenever i wear this. the lotion is to die for too, so creamy and rich.

Fracas is a classic white floral with tuberose in center stage. It is a string of pearls, it is a Hermes Kelly bag, it is a Hubert de Givenchy sheath. At Barney's you'll catch it on the sales clerk as well as the customer standing next to you. It is noticeable at first sniff. It is also one that I must apply extremely sparingly, for this is heady and intoxicating stuff. Still, everybody who loves fragrance and tuberose must give Fracas the old college try.

I went to Maison Parfum on Regent Street in London and bought the solid perfume and body lotion. Thanks KERR for letting me know about this shop! I must say that I love the smell - transports me to my childhood - my mother used to wear this perfume and I can still remember the smell and the black bottle. Also Maison Parfum is such a lovely place to shop (next to Talbots) - the owner gave me lots of samples and I spent a good hour chatting about our favourite perfumes. Yes I think every woman needs to experience Fracas - whether you take to it or not!

If you like extremely lush and opulent tuberose scents, you'll love Fracas. I prefer slightly lighter tuberose fragrances myself, with more 'modern' notes such as Number One by Parfums de Nicolaļ (which smells to me like a better, more wearable version of Fracas). Fracas almost smelled like melted butter to me, it made me queazy ! Interesting and worth trying, IMO.

I like Fracas. It reminds me of Blonde by Versace, only much better, smoother.

I find Fracas to be the best tuberose scent on the market. Do I wear it? No, too ovebearing strong floral for my taste. Fracas is a very popular scent amongst celebrities, such as Kim Basinger, Sofia Coppola, Dayle Haddon, Isabelle Blow...

Pros: Beautiful fragrance! Classic. This lifts my spirits when I wear it. Cons: Fragrance disappears quickly. My boyfriend thinks it smells like soap.

Great bottle and a great scent. I'd probably love this more if I didn't practically worship Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier's Tubereuse as I do and that sort of fills my white floral quota. It's just abit creamier and sweeter than the rather sharp tubereuse and gardenia in Fracas.

Fracas is a deliciously gorgeous scent. Absolutely intoxicating from the top note to the base note. I have never smelled anything quite like it. Two major problems, though, My DH does not care for it (gasp!) and it (unlike other reviewers) actually does not last very long on me. Sigh.
