For the past couple of years, I have mostly been using mineral foundations, but I have always kept a couple of different liquid foundations in my drawer. But recently, I felt that none of them were doing the trick. Kanebo Sensai Liquid (203) was too dark, BB Skin too yellow (Warm Sand), and while Dior Nude was the right colour (020), it was too dry, somehow, for my winter skin, which is dry and dehydrated. So I went out to search for a new foundation, and that's not my favourite business, since I'm (1) tricky to match (neutral skin tone), and (2) picky with respect to the texture. I got a few samples of Guerlain Lingerie de Peau (02) and Lancome Teint Miracle 02 Lys rosé, and put them to the test. Initially, I thought 01 would be a better match, but it was way too yellow, and while 02 has a very deceptive name, it is not pinktoned, but rather quite neutral. The result of the test? Guerlain darkened on me, and has too much red pigment, which gives my skin an orange cast. As much as I may prefer Guerlain, I just couldn't deal with it. Lancome, on the other hand, was true love on the very first application, and the day after, I bought it in fullsize, and have now been using it more or less exclusively for 10 days. It gives a natural result, but is buildable, so you are able to cover slight discolourations in the skin, but for pimples and scars, you might need a concealer in addition. While this foundation supposedly is for all skin types, I suspect that oily skinned people will find that it slides off during the day, so they might want to add some powder to prolong the wear.

Ladies let me introduce my HG Foundation: LANCOME TEINT MIRACLE. I am in love with this foundation. Feels like a tinted moisturizer, works like a foundation. I am Bisque 4W. i also have Bisque 5C. Basically I am neutral to slightly warm girl. There are 4 intensity levels in this foundation. Ivory (intensity 1) being the lightest fair, a bit cooler undertone, cooler warms and cooler cools, like neutral to cool. Buff (intensity II) has neutrally warms and cools. bisque is more towards neutral Warm, and Suede is Warm. It does Oxidize by time and shades are darker than by appear in the bottle. One you put them on they adjust to your own skin color and look extremely natural just like your skin. I have normal skin (not Combination) I am not sure how this will work for other skin types, but for me it does not give me dry patches or gets oily. Definite buying again. My skin is reactive and sensitive. It did not react with my skin. I love this foundation. Go Get It!!!

What do you women see in this foundation, huh? If you're looking for the slightest coverage, acne scars/sun spots, forget it. Moisturization, nada. How about a semi matte or dewy look? Well that ain't happening either. And oh please, don't go by my age, cause my skin can hold up to any 30ish yr old out there, no lines, wrinkles, or dryness, perhaps because I'm a woman of color. Back to this foundation, which btw say's it's a lifting foundation, well I didn't see that either though I have little that needs lifting yet it couldn't even handle that. It spreads on somewhat heavy but is actually quite light since it covers absolutely nothing & dries down to a powdery type finish, my face looked dry & bland. I had a generous sample from Lancome in which I tried working with this 3x with the same result. I can't even recommend this for the summer months, whatever for, there's no coverage or evening out your skin tone. While Lancome is quite generous with their samples in which I do appreciate yet they're gonna have to do a lot better in terms of quality if they expect me to kick out that kind of money. This is a case of "you DON"T get what you paid for" which = ripoff !!!

I started out with a sample of this and immediately loved the results, my skin looked fantastic, flawless and didnt give me that made up look. It is lightweight and doesn't clog my pores or settle into my pores and lines. Amazing foundation and I will buy more!

I needed a new foundation like a hole in the head, especially since I've settled down for a long life ahead with my HG Boots Lifting & Firming, but I had a credit from Sephora so after reading all the reviews and generally being a big foundation freak I picked this up. I'm actually really pleased with this! It's very similar to my Boots L&F in that it spreads beautifully and leaves my skin smooth and bright looking. Like others have said there's no shimmer in this, it's more like the glow in Nars SG. I like it better than SG because it adheres to my skin better because it has a little drier texture once it sets (probably because it's oil free). I like the scent, it smells like rosewater. For reference, I have pretty oily skin that's incredibly acne prone but under control with Retin A. Overall I'm glad I got this and I use it interchangeably with L&F. Since it's oil free and a little tackier I'll probably use it in place of L&F when it starts to get hotter outside. Would definitely recommend.

Overall I like tis foundation. I love the finish it gives my skin. An actual lit from within look...as Lancome promises. It is light to medium coverage and doesn't fully cover the redness in my cheeks. But I can not wear this for more than a week straight. Alcohol denat is high on the ingredient list and through research have found that this type of alchol isn't the best for dry skin like mine. . I'm hoping as the weather gets warmer my skin won't be as dry.

I have this in the lightest colour 010.
I wear it over the Miracle Eclat primer and together they do give a bit of a glow and my foundation looks light and flawless.
It doesn't go greasy or change colour during the day. I think it gives a lovely light coverage and looks great and natural when I add a little bit of blush.
When I need a heavier coverage I go back to Tient Idole but on a sunny / summer day this is lovely and light. I forget I'm wearing it. I love the glass pump (although you lose a bit of product on the sides and it the bottom of the tube) it lasts forever. A good quality product.

I think this is the best foundation I've ever tried. It stays on well and looks good. I like that it's a medium coverage but that I can layer it in places that need more coverage and it still looks good. It does leave a glow. And best of all, it's a perfect match for me. The best I've ever found. Yay!
*edit: Didn't hold up during the summer. It melted off, but it is still beautiful.

I absolutely LOVE this foundation. I don't have a lot that needs to be covered, plus I like when my actual skin can show through some, and this is absolutely perfect. My best friend saw me putting in on today and used it herself (I think the color matches her better, lol). Its very soft, easy to blend, moisturizing but that doesn't mean in replaces your moisturizer. I have combination oily skin and this is perfect on my. I have Buff 4(c) and it seems to be an alright match. I think my skintone has changed however so I may just need a different shade. However that is the beauty of this foundation, as long as it is somewhat close it doesn't look bad. Its generally a matte foundation, however there is a glow that you get with it, and I promise you don't look like a disco ball.
The pump is fantastic, and I use about a pump and a half for my whole face and neck. I paid $37 for it at Saks and although that seems pretty steep but I love it too much to not repurchase it. Sadly I just dropped in today on the tile floor and the edges of the bottle broke off, but it wasn't deep enough to reach the product thankfully!

I really like this foundation. I've usually use concealer in lieu of foundation but I figured buying foundation would be cheaper than going through so much concealer every day.
It lasts most of the day, looks quite natural and is not heavy or cakey. It does not settle into my pores. On me - it's just slightly matte and has sheer to moderate coverage, depending on how heavy handed I apply it. I do not notice any oxidation effects. The pump bottle keeps it sanitary and is elegant.
My biggest gripe has nothing to do with the foundation but with getting color matched by the SAs. Went to 6 different Lancome counters and only 2 SAs actually matched me perfectly. Some of the SAs "matched" me with colors that were WAY too dark. Recommend asking for the 10 day sample to make sure you're happy with the color match and to see if it will break you out.

I wanted to love it - the coverage was nice, it gave my skin a glowy look, and the packaging is perfection - but it broke me out rather horribly. I was sad when I had to return it. A lovely foundation, but not for me.

New HG! Tried this over the course of several months (2 samples, each lasted ~1.5 month) before determining that it wasn't breaking me out, and wore well in both warm and cold weather. Love the dewy finish and natural coverage. I'm a MAC NC 25-30 and was matched with Bisque 1N, which is perfect. I know lots of others have been frustrated with color match though, so try and go to a counter that has good selection (Sephora, for example, does not get the full range of shades) to get matched!

:( The only things that i liked about this foundation was the fact that it matched me (finally!) and the cute glass bottle. The coverage was ok..nothing really special like how they exaggerate. Cons: I had a white cast when i took a picture with it on and after an hour, it felt like something was crawling on my face..itchy too. I didnt break out but it felt weird. The smell..i thought it was supposed to smell like roses, but it smells like a weird alcohol mixed with smoke or something. I smelt it when i was getting color matched but after that i didnt really notice it. Would i recommend this? No..i thought it would work for me perfectly but it didnt at all. I say try a sample just to be sure.

I am very neutrally pale so I have a hard time finding a foundation that is light enough in color so as not to leave a line around my jawline. The lightest shade in this is the most perfectly matched shade I've ever used!
It goes on so lightly and smoothly--just a dream to wear! I've read on here that people are complaining about it "changing color," but if you read the side of the box it clearly says that it may appear slightly lighter when first applied, but will darken slightly to perfectly match your skin color. Perhaps keep this in mind and buy what looks in the store to be a shade light, and it should adjust.
I get so many compliments on my skin since using this! I have found my HG of foundations!
EDIT: After looking at my graduation photos, I realized that this foundation is NOT "photo-friendly." My normally pale face looked deathly white in all of my photographs. That is my only complaint with this foundation.

Update again : I took off 1 lippie because I found Face Architect from Shu Uemura which is now my favorite. I still love this foundation though
Update : I noticed that if you look really close you can see streaks (cakey) on your face. Try buffing the foundation with a flattop brush, especially on your cheeks, the effect is awesome. :)
I'm dry-combination, and in fact I did not intend to buy it, but I did after seeing the effect it did on my skin. I don't want to use powder anymore because my skin is combination and it tends to create greasy textures on my face, so I was searching for a natural looking light foundation and was matched to shade N1.
I have scars and large pores on my cheek, so normally I would put on foundation with concealer and powder. But this morning it was perfect with light moisturizer on my bare skin, then La Base primer, and then this Teint Miracle foundation. It went in smoothly (I was using my finger), and I found out I only needed less than a pump to cover my face.
Since I read reviews that this foundation may become oily, I applied most of it on the lower part of my face and neck, then have the rest on the T-zone. The color is natural, my face is the same color as the rest of my neck even if I had more on the lower part, and it doesn't look like I put anything on at all.
It's not that great during the first 5 minutes, but after about 30 mins, the color blends in, I was practically glowing and even came to the bathroom several times to check (to make sure that this is real :P). So it's been 5 hours, and everything still stays the same, I still have the natural glow (not shiny glassy like) on my face, and the T-zone is fine.
Do beware that it's in a glass bottle, and shake before applying. I'm really not sure how it would work on oily skin though, but I guess I'll know when summer comes. Even if it doesn't, I would still keep it for fall-winter use. Will definitely buy again.
Also, don't choose color online, the one I got DOESN'T look as dark as the other foundations I have, but it matches my skin perfectly. I would suggest going to Macys or Sephora and request a shade match.

I have this foundation in Buff 5.
I just have to come out and say - this is some of the best stuff I have tried - and I've tried a lot!
What I love about this foundation is how natural it looks. Although it doesn't have that 'foundation' look, it still makes you look polished with what I would call a medium coverage, which easily layers to a medium-full. It layers up extremely well, and doesn't cake up without effort :P.
The 'glow' it provides is perfect in that it isn't too heavy, nor too 'chunky'. There are no visible sparkles, and it sunlight it doesn't reveal any individual particles. Nevertheless it has this ethereal glow that I can only describe as divine!
Also - this is the only foundation I have used in a very long time which doesn't give me blackheads... I know that seems like a strange claim, but since using this I have found that my blackheads had greatly diminished... Perhaps it has something to do with the 10x less fillers in it - whatever that means. All I know is my skin loves this foundation.
It does have a very slight smell - but I attribute that to the rosewater that is in this product... It doesn't bother me and I don't notice it once it is actually on my face. It also smells like alcohol due to the alcohol content on it - a little alarming for someone with dry skin but it goes away quickly and doesn't dry my skin out - random!
Color-matching *shouldn't* be an issue as there are about 1 zillion colors... the only issue being that you may take a while trying to figure out your exact match if you're a match-nut like me.
Lasting power is better than most, but not as fabulous as some YT Gurus and other bloggers have claimed it is on me. I find it looks perfect for 5ish hours, then it starts to wear off. To fix this, I sometimes mix a little MAC Pro-longwear or Rimmel Lasting Finish in with it to bring up the wear-time then it lasts all day until I take it off.
Great foundation. Couldn't think of one that I love more... But keep in mind - I have dry skin.

love this foundation!
watery feel and very light texture, easy to apply and blend, feels almost nothing on skin.
the coverage is median, gives skin nice glow, skin looks healthy and naked, oil-free so that even oily skin can use it
not super long lasting but I wear it 8 hours and my skin still looks good, only a little oily on my T-zone.

I was completely skeptical about this product but I was desperate to find a foundation that brought some life back into my complexion. This foundation is A-MA-ZING! It really does give you the "lit from within" look. You need to see it to believe it. I actually color matched very well to both Buff 7 and Bisque 4. I'm asian, NC 30, MUFE 120-127. Buff 7 is probably the EXACT color to my skin, but the Bisque 4 gives a touch of tanned glow which I actually prefer. Did not make my skin breakout, pump bottle, and great long-lasting finish. Even though it says natural light-medium coverage-- I swear this covers better than my MUFE HD. I dunno...but whatever it is, it is working for me! A++++ This is now officialy my HD foundation!!
