I am not a big fan of this stuff. I'll use it if there is absoloutly nothing else around, but the way I am with chapstick that is highly unlikely. I don't think it is very moisturizing and I am not a huge fan of the tingling. I like lip balms that are less waxy.

ok i know this sounds weird but i never actually use this when i have chapped lips because it makes them burn. I love the whole peppermint thing going on but it hurts if my lips are dry. I love the consistency and how it goes on and the smell but I took off a lippie cause I cant use it when my lips are chapped.

Great product for chapped lips, also feels good when you put it on.Rather expensive so i recommend getting it when it's on sale.Lovely tingle when after you put it on.

I swear by Burt's. I've started a course of Accutain (skin meds that dry EVERYTHING out) and I have to moisturize my lips constantly. Though I was a Burt's fan before, this balm is saving my lips at this point. My lips are moisturized and normal as always. I've had friends do the Accutain who were getting bleeding lips from them cracking. I've no such problems.
The balm does give you a little tingle (something other reviewers have complained about..), and I love it.

this is the only lip balm that works for me. i used to use chapstick brand but ever since i switched to burts bees, i'll never go back. it doesn't leave my lips chapped like other lip balms and is a great prep for lipstick/gloss. it smells like mint and everytime i use it, someone thinks i'm chewing gum. i've recommended it to more than 5 friends and this is their balm of choice now too!

Burt's is all I ever use! It moisturizes my lips fairly well, although it is not the best and I am still looking for a great lip balm. However, most of its products contain mint, which I heard irritates the lips. This is something I am weary of, but for now Burt's will do!

Honestly, what is so great about this product? It made my lips tingle and that's about it. I can attest to absolutely no moisturing power. My friend swears by this but I really can't stand it. It's thick and waxy and I can just feel the menthol wreaking havoc on any natural moisture I have. Ugh.

I have the kind in the tin pot and I don't really like the packaging (or the smell - too strong and minty) But this is amazing for my lips - it instantly softens and smoothes out my lips! It is also great under all glosses and lipsticks! The price is just a little high but it is worth it! I will get the tube version next time..

I guess this product is OK if you just want a minty tingly feeling on your lips. Other than the minty tingle, it does NOTHING to help moisturize or heal dry chapped lips. In fact, it seems that this lip balm makes my lips even dryer... What's up with that?
