Smells great but it really dries my sensitive skin out.

I have combination skin, and during the summer it's usually more on the oily side. I don't break out - if i get any pimples, it's every few weeks, and just one or two. Anyway, I wanted a gentle exfoliant to use a couple of times a week, and since my sister loves Clean & Clear, I decided to give this product a try.
First of all, I don't know if there was something wrong with mine, but I couldn't twist the top to dispense the cleanser. Eventually I gave up and untwisted the nozzle, and poured a small amount into my hand. I thoroughly wet my face with lukewarm water, and then gently rubbed in the cleanser in circular motions. The smell is kind of orangey, and I didn't really like it - it reminded me of household cleaning products haha. Anyway, I used it, rinsed my face, toweled off, and applied mosturizer.
Next morning, I wake up...covered in pimples. I was so angry, because it takes a LOT for me to break out, and aside from using this cleanser for the first time, I didn't change anything about my cleansing routine.
TL;DR - harsh, smelly, and not worth the price.

Ive actually bought this product twice, and to be honest its not that HORRIBLE of a product. It was a good cleanser for daily use and kept my skin clean and free of oil.

I never actually used this product. My boyfriend bought it home one day and he was going to use it as his face wash. I took one look at the ingredients list and told him not a good idea. the detergent, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, is second in the ingredients, and it is 3 on a scale of 1-5 (with 5 being worst) on most comedogenic ingredients. Sodium Laureth Sulfate is the ingredient mostly found as the second thing in shampoos! why would you dare wash your face with a shampoo. the thought is just taunting. so its just been sitting on the sink, untouched since he got it.

The smell reminds me of dishwasher soap like sunlight even has the same consistancy, I gave up using this on my face and tonight i used it on my back and shoulders or some self inflicted pimples result? my hands are so dry ive applied half of a tube of my vichy hand lotion and it doesn't help. I guess the reason it never dried out my face as much is becuase its super oily by night time. not sure what im going to use the remainer for as ive used it only 3-4 times. Oh well.

I would rather use soap. At least soap doesn't slime up your face, taking 10 minutes to wash it all off your face and leave your face feeling cakey and dry.
Oh, and the little bubble things didn't "burst", they kinda just smeared a streak across my face.
I also didn't feel awake after washing it, I actually felt like going back to sleep and dreaming about not using this BS cleanser.

I used to use this for a really long time, and then decided that I probably should use some other products just to experiment. Well, I now find that this product is REALLY DRYING. I already have pretty bad dry skin that after i wish this, my face not only feels dry, but it leaves white dry skin behind! So, I'm no longer using this product and I'm out to hunt for a better one. Its good in that its got those microbeads, it smells nice and well, it does clean your face! Its also good for daily use which I like since I like to have a clean face every morning. So its not bad, but it gives me dry skin :(

i started using this product about 2 weeks ago every morning but started to notice that my dry/normal combination skin became drier! my t-zone became extremely dry and started to flake as well did some parts of my forehead. not only did it happen to those areas but on the apples of my cheeks and around my nose. besides the clean feeling i would not repurchase and is in the process of looking for another facial cleanser.

This is didn't really do anything to my face except clean it which it was suppose to do. i hated the pump on this sucker because 25% of the bottle down, the pump wants to stop working. i had to transfer what was left of the product into another container so i could just finish it. i wouldn't buy it again but i did love the smell to it

I have had this cleanser for a very long time, like 3-4 years. So long that the pump dispenser no longer works because it dried up inside. Shows how much I use it.. lol It's definitely not my favorite, because it does dry my skin up a little bit too much. I only use it on the days when I don't have enough sleep, because I like that fresh sensation that I get after it to wake me up.
I still have little bit less than half left, probably last another 3 year, so definitely won't be rebuying.
