I smelled this on a friend and I loved it, I sprayed it on and decided to buy it. I bought the biggest bottle and I enjoyed wearing it at first, but when I used half the bottle I did not like it anymore. I could only smell powder en it became to much... I used up the bottle, but I won't buy it again.

This is way too powdery smelling for my taste. It didn't bother me enought to wash off, but not something I would wear on a regualr basis.

Got this as a gift and fell in love with the bottle, very pretty. This scent is a lot stronger than what I prefer to wear. The staying power is excellent and at first application, even a small amount I was thinking "Oh My God this is going to be offensive to people who are sensitive to fragrance".....but the drydown ends up making this a really lovely scent despite being very thick heavy in my opinion. Even though my friends tell me it is a nice fragrance, I am not in love with it, it's just not a good fit for me personally. I won't repurchase simply because I have other fragrances that I am devoted to.

I received a sample of this in my Sephora order and decided to try it out. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS! I am shocked at the not-so-good reviews here. I have about a bazillion fragrances and I think this may be my signature scent from now on. I cannot order a bottle fast enough. This fragrance is just lovely - there's no other word. Good lasting power. It even puts me in a better mood. I love it. It is slightly powdery - I am no expert but it it is just a very floral-y, girly smell, very clean and fresh - not complicated, just pretty. Doesn't have that fake-y sugary smell that most new fragrances seem to all have now. I have never fallen in love with a fragrance this fast - they all usually have to "grow" on me ... but this was love at first sniff. I cannot believe everyone does not at least like this (at least) a little. Just goes to show how different everyone is. I tried to love Creed fragrances, for example, and golly - they are ALL horrible to me. Anyhoo, try this out and see what you think.

I was given this as a gift some time back, and initially was not overly fond of it. It's very, very powdery smelling with some violet (to my nose anyway!). I wore it from time to time though, as I didn't dislike it enough to give it away....however, it has now grown on me and I really enjoy wearing it. It's quite unique (which I like.....I don't always want to smell like everyone else...or just plain generic) and to my mind it's clean smelling, as the strong powdery scent reminds of putting on powder after showering. I can see why some people don't like it....it's definitely not going to appeal to everyone. I also find it to be quite strong and long lasting, so I would suggest that this fragrance should not be over-sprayed....it could wipe out an army!

So I've been on this fragrance-sniffing kick lately (probably something to do with the pregnancy) and the great descriptive reviews on MUA are just feeding my frenzy. I tell my husband it's a lot like wine-tasting, finding top notes and bottom notes and dry-downs and all that. Anyway, I wasn't even aware of this scent until it was mentioned here, then I went to Sephora, saw the bottle and thought, "Oh, THAT stuff." Well, the packaging and the bottle are very very nice, I'll say. You'd think it would be clean-smelling, because the bottle is so clean and elegant. Then I gave it a sniffy-sniff (on a card, of course, just to be safe). Huh. I'm not as good at this as everyone else, but here goes: thin and sweet, with a powdery, violet-pastille undertone. No spice, no greenery at all. This stuff is very popular, I swear I've smelled it on a lot of, shall we say, mature, well-heeled ladies over the years. This smells like I imagine Liddy Dole would smell. It's very neo-conservative, almost reactionary. Not my thing at all.

I remember testing this 3 years ago in a department store in Brighton and exclaiming, 'cork grease!' (woodwind instrument players will understand) - cue sniffy outraged look from SA...though at the same time, it's not all that bad. I just remember being surpisied at the smell more than disgusted.
I'll maybe update this after i've refereshed my memory.

What a lovely scent! There is nothing complicated about it at all, which makes it perfect for daytime wear. On me it smells like roses and soft powder. Normally I don't go for powder scents, but this scent is so feminine! It is completely non-offensive. I would definitely buy again. And the bottle...how adorable!

When I'm in the mood for BABY POWDER(all caps intended), I reach for Kenzo Flower.
On me it's baby powder & violet candies. I don't get much development into anything else. No musk or other flowers. Just baby powder and violet candies which is lovely when you're in the mood for it.
The bottle is absolutely lovely and the scent lasts allllllll day. I can put it on at 7 in the morning and still smell it on my arm at 10 pm!
A little pricey, but worth it for the beauty of the bottle and the simple femininity of this long lasting scent.

This has been my favourite frangrance for years. It smells absolutely gorgeous and I'm head over heels in love with it. It's such a unique scent, which down-drys into something absolutely divine. It's so delectable I want to eat it! 5 Lippies from me.
Top notes: Bulgarian rose, Wild hawthorn, Cassie, Palma violets.
Middle notes: Opoponax, White musk.
Base notes: Hedione, Cyclosal.
