Don't do it! My skin reacts badly to this - guess what - it's full of alcohol. No wonder lots of people complain of break outs - poor skin gets a battering if you put this junk on it. Mine looked red and dehydrated and very cross indeed. Oh yeah - it stinks as well - so heavily perfumed. Just vile.

This b.b cream in medium works wonders with my skin tone gives me my desired amount of coverage but the only down side just like most garnier products is that it breaks me out in little tiny bumps. I have very sensitive skin and I really wish this would work for me.

Must admit...not for me. Although its lovely and soft and smells yummy, the coverage is too light for my tone and it hasnt really helped my real dry area by the nose and has just sunk into the lines and made them more prominent

The price is not the best either for basically a tinted moisterizer, its good that it claims to protect though.

This has to be a no from me sorry

I was really excited to try BB cream because I've heard that other brands are very good. I'm not a foundation fan, and only ever use tinted moisturiser. When i tried garnier's BB cream i was quite disappointed. The medium shade matched my skin tone, but the consistency was quite drying and didn't blend easily. It didn't cover any blemishes and i found i had to use a lot to make it work. the next day, i found my skin had broken out into an unusual amount of pimples. definitely not going to use this product again.

It's nice because it makes the skin softer and it does give a healthy glow BUT sometimes it doesn't cover much radness :-/

Although this is a BB cream, it is also meant to be a tinted moisturiser, but I find that it doesnt cover any redness at all and to me its just a moisturiser! Also, I dont know it is related, but I have a few more pimples after using this and also I cant use it at all on my T Zone as it gets very greasy. At the moment, I use it under my foundation as a primer/moisturiser, but thats it. Dissapointed it didnt work for me.

EDITED 1/22/12: I won't buy this again, despite what I've said below. It's just too oily and useless on the hottest of hot days, which are being delivered in my part of the world right now. I can only recommend this for people with VERY dry skin. For those people, the following may hold true:

It isn't a miracle. It doesn't perfect my complexion. And it isn't all-in-one because I like to use a separate sunscreen underneath. Despite all that, I find it useful.

Why? Because it's a bridge between no foundation and just looking as if you're wearing no foundation.

Does it improve anything? Slightly.

Is that enough? Yes, for my weekends and holidays, when I'm happy for most of me to show through and to glow a bit.

I find it a bit too moisturising/oily but I do brush powder over it and it holds up reasonably well with the odd blot or two on a hot Australian day, which is tough on any foundation.

If you have ANY doubt about needing light or medium, choose light. Like me, you may regret choosing medium. Even though it spreads thinly, it looked too dark, and I now have it in light, which is more forgiving and blends to almost nothing.

It's a plus that it has sun protection, but Australia demands more and I wouldn't trust my skin's health to what is basically a tinted moisturiser.

Its name promises more than it delivers in my opinion and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants to cover an imperfection, but it's as cheap as chips and a quick-fix base to fool anyone into thinking you're not wearing foundation, yet makes just enough of a difference.

Well i just bought this product and was excited to see whether my skin would be 'perfected' as it claims on the packaging and it has been a HUGE let down. Yeah sure it sorta covers my skin but i can still see a few blemishes here and there (i wasn't expecting a miracle but kinda like foundation without the obvious foundation look) and it was soooo not my colour. I bought it in light and hoped that it would match and it was too dark for me :( they need to bring out a fairer one for us pale girls. And there was a noticable tanned line going across my jaw bone. Also it wasnt a very even coverage. I don't know whether it makes skin shinier or healthier, i took it off before the rest of the world saw my pasty tanned face and overly pale body walk down the street. Overall a big disappointment....may buy it again if they bring out a very light colour :)

Have had this a while now and at first thought it a little bit made my oily skin look a bit shiny, however, now think it is more of a glow and actually really like it. Only in 2 colours, but the light does seem to blend in very well and overall a good option for when I don't want to bother with foundation. Probably doesn't last as long as ELDW, but great for a few hours, also I like the fresh smell.

Honestly, this is just a light tinted moisturiser. I like the texture and it is dead easy to apply, but I really don't understand what's meant to be so special about it. It looks very natural, which is nice, but doesn't cover much. Unless you have really good skin you'd want something else. I use this at the weekends if my skin is looking good, and I guess I'd probably buy it again because it is pretty cheap and works well enough. I can really only give it a 3 though because I just don't think it's that special.

I have never tried a 'bb cream' before and was rather dubious about trying one but can safely say that I now cant live without this product! I use it under foundation as a base - I use Estee Lauder Double Wear - and it completely softens and hydrates. It makes my make-up look much less heavy (yes, I know I wear double wear however I like the staying power). I also use it by itself with a little powder as a nice alternative to a made-up look at the weekend. I am rather pale in winter and find that it just gives my complexion a little life!! I have even used it on my boyfriend and he loves it too! It really is my HG!!

I love this product. I was very excited to buy this, and was not dissapointed, I have fair skin and got the light colour and it matches my skin perfectly.
The liquid was easy to put on, just squirted a bit onto my fingers and put on like moisturizer and it had a matte kind of finish and covered my imperfections really well.
Strongly reccommend this product.

ADORE. I have the shade 'medium' and it fits my skintone perfectly- its basically my skintone actually.

It smells lovely. I only need a little bit to cover my whole face.
It covers really well and give your face a nice healthy sheen.
People have asked me how I make my skin looks so good whilst wearing this,so that's a fact I know it looks good to others too!

I will forever repurchase.

I like the finish and low cost but this stuff STINKS!! I cannot actually bear it - scents in face products don't really bother me so much but this is really overpowering and rank to the point that I can't wear it. If they brought out a fragrance free version I would definitely wear it, but since this isnt the case it only gets 2 stars.

I love this! I've had it for about 3 weeks now, and it's completely changed the way my skin looks. When I put it on, it looks like a new layer of skin has been put on. Obviously, I still need to apply concealer, as it's not supposed to be full coverage, but for me it's definitely medium coverage. I have a few red patches on my skin, and when I apply it they appear to disappear. It doesn't make me look shiny throughout the day if I apply powder in the morning, and I shall be recommending it to all of my friends and family! Well done Garnier!

This was my first BB cream experience. I was so excited to buy it after reading about BB cream in an online forum. I really wanted to like this product but on first use, it disappointed me. I bought the 'light' and the colour was passable on my skin but it just felt so greasy and it made my face shiney. 2 days later, my skin started breaking out - I have these weird raised red bumps on my cheeks and forehead. I haven't started using any other new products so I'm putting it down to this.

First B.B cream i've ever tried and from the other reviews and my own experience it's not the one to try! The colours are limited, and once i got it out of the artificial lighting of the drugstore it didn't match my skin tone. Feels greasy and dirty after a few hours on, and didn't make my skin look good. I would recommend to people who want to try out B.B creams try one from the original Asian market

I see there are mixed reviews about this BB cream.
I bought it a few days ago for the first time ever and I'm using it with satisfaction! This is the only BB Cream or at least "BB inspired" as it says on the package, so I cannot compare. I imagine that real Asian BB Creams must be something different.
This one is nice to wear.
I'm a long time user of pure biological products like Weleda and Dr.Hauschka and I love those products, but sometimes I wish my skin looked better, only look if not being!
I have combination and highly sensitive reactive skin, often dehydrated in winter and I work in a dry place that make my skin look much worse :-(
Even if natural products improved my conditions a lot, unfortunately bad habits, food intolerances, gut problems etc etc lead me to have kind of suffering skin. I'm fair, maybe NC20/25 with olive undertones and all kind of blemishes just show up like a beam!
So, you name it, pale face sometimes yellowish, redness around nose and a little dermatitis, dark circles, eyebags...
I was so tired of all this. I never step out of home without makeup!
My usual MU is concealer, medium-to-high coverage foundation mixed with sheer bronzer, rice powder and a little blush.
Before that I use a gentle anti-age serum, eye cream and Weleda Wild Rose daycream. A fine work of layering!
3 days ago, after hearing all the fuss about BB Cream I went and bought the only BB Cream available in Italy. Most perfume stores don't even know what it is!
I got duck skin at reading the ingredients list, but I said: Hey! for 9 euro I can try it and see what happen!
Since 3 days ago I'm wearing it in the morning, only BB cream on clean face, a weightless layer of rice powder (which sets much better than on foundation) and a touch of blush. Wow! The visual effect is really nice also in day light in winter. It boosts radiance and feels very confortable to wear.
My skin feels moistured and protected, redness disappears, coverage is adequate and even my dermatitis is calmer!
I really have no idea of how it work! I could say it's like a TM but it's not just that. I hate TM on my face. Only Kiehl's one I liked in Fair.
The BB cream effect lasted from 8 AM to around 3PM! At 5PM I just wanted to add a little touch for more coverage.
Before that my T-zone needed a light re-touch with compact at 12PM
For 9 euro this is an already big result! Seeing my face for better makes me feel less anxious and less conscious among people.
What I cannot say it's long term effect. I have no idea if it makes any good to my skin. I avoided sylicone-based stuff for ages and now I'm using this during the day!
I always carefully remove makeup at night. I remove BB cream with my usual Weleda Almond Milk and I feel that my sponge runs fast on my face as it was sliding! What is this? anyway my general appearance has improved in 3 days so I'll go on with this one and I really want to try the real thing from Asia! I think I can find Erborian at some Sephora.
It comes in two shades and I obviously chose the fairest (medium-light) which works fine with my tone but I wish it was a little lighter.

Age: 25-29   Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium, Warm   Hair: Brunette, Straight, Medium   Eyes: Brown

Awful. It's greasy, orange and shiny - everything you DON'T want on your face. I've been bugging all my friends for ages to recommend something lighter for my face for winter (less coverage, more moisture, possibly with a dewy finish), so they shower me with samples. I got a sample of Garnier Perfector in Medium. The shade is an appalling mix of orange and bright pink that made my face look like I spent a day in the sun with no SPF. For a product that claims to "even your skin tone & boost its glow, blur imperfections, smooth fine lines, offer 24 hour hydration and protect your skin with SPF15 UV protection" this is a real disaster that fails on almost all claims.
It goes on like a really rich moisturizer, but once it touches your skin it dries too fast and it's almost impossible to distribute it evenly without putting on more than you need. I tried applying it both with fingers and a makeup brush, with identical results. It has virtually no staying power, after four hours my skin felt dry, but looked greasy. The only two things that seem to last are the color and the scent, which isn't overpowering (it's similar to that of Garnier's other moisturizers, kinda floral) but still is too strong for a product you're supposed to wear all day long. As for imperfections, I only have slightly larger pores on sides of my nose and guess what? It made them look even bigger.
All in all, I wouldn't call this a "perfector" or a BB cream, just an average drugstore-brand-like tinted moisturizer.
