Bought this to wear my thick, very long hair in a chignon to my office christmas party. I cannot believe how well these work! Do simply as the directions say, and these two little miracles hold up ALL that hair like nobody's business! Very secure. Just make sure to screw both of them where one point of the pin is grabbing the hair on your head, and the other is grabbing the hair in the bun. Makes a great stocking stuffers!

God I love these! When I first tried these a few times I wasn't all that impressed and so I put them in a drawer and forgot about them for awhile. Then I recently dug them back out and wow! I have really really long hair that is wavy and medium thickness. This holds it ALL up with no problem!! It's so easy, looks great, and stays up all day!

Pure genius!! This really works! I'm so glad I got this. I bought this today and tried it as soon as I came home. It makes high messy buns so effortless. Makes hair stay put too! Every girl with long hair should get this. By the way, I have layers in my shoulder length, straight hair. This is going to be one of my staple hair accessories.

they are great ! i just don't get why they are so expensive here. $5.99 CAD for two of them? I can get at least 20 of them of EXACTLY the SAME quality in China for that much money..

Great product!!!!!! When I saw the commercials, I honestly thought "Really? Like that would EVER work." But, my mom happened to buy some (and gave them to me after accidentally buying the ones for brunettes). So, I stuck one in my hair, and it actually kept my hair up! Two made it super secure. Now, I have really really long med to thick hair..and was amazed. No more hair tie dents for me!!

No more breaking pencils off my head from trying to throw my hair up in a quick tight bun... no more broken BIC pens in my hair and hands dripping ink because once again, I was too rough trying to work it through the mess I call my hair.
Spin pins are pleasant. They work, and they gradually "screw" into your hair to hold in place. They amaze anyone I've ever showed, and it really does replace a butt-load of bobby pins. I can't run on a treadmill with these on, but they hold tight for everyday wear. I don't know what I would do if I lost these, but I'm glad I discovered them.
No more stabbing yourself w/ foreign object. No more embarrassing stories. No more accidental messes. Just comfortable and convenient. A staple must have for me. <3

I have long, thick hair, with slight wave. I wear a bun on most days, usually held together with either a claw clip or a pencil/pen. These are so easy to use and make my normally sloppy bun look completely pulled together.
My only complaint is that I have layers and the ends tend to stick out. I think this could be remedied with another one or two spin pins. It's definitely worth the six dollars and as soon as I make it to Target, I'm getting a second set.

Ladies, these really work!
I have no skills when it comes to updo's and even I could use these little pins. Like other reveiwers, I recommend watching some youtube videos.

Love love love!!! My hair seems to be getting thinner as I get older and I have a very difficult time trying to find things to do with it thats quick and easy. I have to wear my hair up most days (I work in schools and head lice is very common this time of year) and I was getting very sick of clips. Ponytails aren't as nice and would slowly slide after a couple of hours.
My friend mentioned these to me and I picked them up while at the grocery store one day. I took probably 15 seconds to grab my hair and twist two of these into my bun/french twist. It was incredibly secure and comfortable (unlike the clips that tug). What an amazing invention! I have somewhat straight hair thats really hard to coax into waves but spin pins are a huge help! I leave my hair wet and apply some wave gel/spray in my hair and twist it up into a french twist. I let it air dry in the twist all day and then take it down for gorgeous, natural, full wavy hair for the night time!! I can get a similar effect with a clip but it leaves indents at the back of my head and its not nearly as wavy.
No more 1000000 bobby pins for a sophisticated up do, no more pulling tugging on my hair in clips and fast, easy night time waves using no heat. This product is AMAZING!I will definitely repurchase...got these for $3.99 which seems to be a deal because my friend paid over $6 for them at Walmart!

I was SOOOO skeptical of this product when it first came out, and it has taken me SO LONG to buy it. But I did... and now I have NO idea why I waited so darn long! I LOVE these! I am not a great talent when it comes to styling my hair, and even making a bun is a challenge for me. I don't use hair pins well, and my hair never holds a style... but with THESE it's sooo easy to just pile my hair up on top of my head, make a bun, twirl these babies in, let a few face framing pieces fall and I'm SET... for the ENTIRE DAY! (Can you tell I am excited for these? Lol) They REALLY hold as long as you follow the directions for putting them in your hair. My hair needs to be a tad bit longer for me to get polished looks (it is currently a few inches past my shoulders and layered), but the messy un-done bun works awesomely for me. And my husband says my hair looks "really cool" when I use these pins. He HATES it when I put my hair up! They could be a bit cheaper (paid 6.99 for them at Ulta), and I suspect the prices might fall eventually... but If I ever lose these (Heaven forbid!) or they go on sale, I WILL buy another set!
