I bought this on a whim after going to the counter to get Gaga. The MA showed me the color on the back of her hand while I was asking her about Gaga and I thought "I have to have this!" I am one of those pale people who LOVES reds but cannot pull them off. I tried this one today with a neutral lipliner and this isn't red, but a bright pinky coral. This is a very "natural" red and I can definitely see this one getting a lot of wear, and it's understated enough for work. I will buy this again when I run out. The packaging is cute, the color rocks, Cyndi is one of my favorites and it's for a good cause.

I love this lipstick - its a very wearable red/berry color on me. Looks great layered under lip gloss as well. My favorite Viva Glam to date!

I cannot pull off a red lip. With that said this looks amazing on! I was shocked! It's not a shock red but a nice warm coral. It really compliments my NW25 skin tone. So happy I purchased this. Will def repurchase again.

I'm in love with it. Cyndi Lauper is one of my favorite icons, so of course when I saw the lipstick I really wanted to get it. Tried it on at the MAC store, just lovely, especially for warm skintones. I HIGHLY recommend this; it's such a wearable everyday red, too. I'll stock up on this...the packaging is amazing.

I LOVE THIS!! This is such a gorgeous color! I had to put it on as soon I got it!! If you think Gaga is too pink/brightf/cool for you MUST try Cyndi. This is one of those lippies that you wear for so many looks. It's a color that I imagine will be very flattering for a variety of skin tones.
This instantly brightens my face! I will definitely buy another one of this and prolly end up getting Gaga as well.
The packaging awesome with the autograph on it! I was told that this and gaga are only around for a year- so needless to say, i will be buying this again! :)

I HAD to have this l/s, which is funny cause i never HAVE to have anything. But as soon as i got an advertisment from MAC about this i put my order in ASAP (last night)! Today i ran to my local counter & purchased a back up incase its sold out online before my order is fully processed (always my luck).
I love this l/s. It really is a watermelon kind of color. Its fresh & brightens my face up. I wanted GaGa too till i saw it in person, theres no way i could wear something that cool toned. Lovely color though. Im very happy w/ my Cyndi :)

I went to MAC yesterday intending to buy a different lipstick, but after the new Viva Glam lipsticks caught my eye and I swatched them on my hand, I knew I had to try this one. When I put it on, I knew it was the one for me. I'm an NC25 and it's a perfect "my lips but better" shade for me. It's almost like a more pigmented version of NARS dolce vita. I apply it over chapstick to sheer it out a little bit for everyday wear, but for a nighttime look with a smoky eye or a cat eye, it would be a great subtle read. The thing I like most about it is that it isn't frosty or drying on my lips.

If you can only wear cool colors, this lipstick is not for you! I'm NC25 and can really only pull off lippies that are cool-toned. (Ladybug, Strawbaby both look terrible on me.) Still, this Cyndi Viva Glam looked so pretty, I had to visit my local MAC counter to try it. The moment I put it on, I thought, "No." It looks absolutely wrong on my face. It didn't pull pink or red on me, just warm coral. So if you're looking at the pictures online and wondering, "Is this going to be too warm for me?" the answer is probably going to be YES. Sad but true! Gorgeous packaging, though.

Oooooo....pretty. This shade brought so much color to my pale NW20 skin. My face just lit up when I put this on. I had instant color and almost looked tan...wow. This lipstick is like finding the perfect curtains that make the whole room pop. My face is a poppin'!

I went to my MAC counter yesterday, only planing on getting the VivaGlam Gaga, and since the VG gaga was a 'light blue pink', and if it didn't look good on me when I tried it on, I was going to go with the VG Cyndi, and when I tried on both I loved it and HAD to get both lol, I totally gave in, but I'm so happy about my purchase! I don't have one regret!
Viva Glam Cyndi, is described as a "Light reddish coral" on the MAC website, it does have a slight coral tone to it, but it isn't very noticeable to me, It's definitely a universal color for most skin tone and would definitely compliment many. So for those who don't like the VG gaga or it didn't look good on you, definitely check this one out. It's a lustre finish, but to me it's pretty pigmented, goes on semi-opaque, and has good coverage. This reminds me of Popster from the HelloKitty collection, but VG Cyndi is more pigmented than popster which is a more sheer coral shade, so if you missed out on the HK collection this would be a good dupe for popster (: I do like the glossy finish, so it's good on the go, no need to apply a gloss, or if you aren't a lipgloss person. Definitely worth it, I love that it's part of the Viva Glam campaign, and for those who don't know about it, every VG lipstick you purchase make all proceeds goes to MAC AIDS fund. So you feel good, while looking fabulous! :D

I was originally planning to only buy the Viva Glam Gaga lipstick, but when I tried this on in the store, I HAD to have it. I have orange/red hair and very pale skin, and this color fits just perfectly. I can put on one layer to have a sort of flushed look, or a couple for a very dramatic look. The color really compliments my skin as well as my hair. It is pretty moisturizing and quite long lasting. I still had a very noticeable amount of color left after eating and drinking. I find it very comfortable to wear to casual occasion, such as school/work. Most definitely my new signature red lipstick. I can finally pull of a red lip! And of course, the money goes to a great cause which makes the whole purchase even better!

Gorgeous pinky coral red. It's one of those MLBB shades. The lustre finish gives just enough color while still being glossy. This will suit so many skin tones.

I've loved Cyndi Lauper since I was a child and heard "Time After Time" for the first time. I was so excited when I learned of the new Viva Glam collection with her and Lady Gaga. I immediately bought both colors and I have to say Cyndi is my fav. I can pull off reds really well and this one is AWESOME! It's a lustre formula so it applies sheer, but can be built to a nice cherry red with a hint of coral. I love this lipstick because it's so versatile, it can be worn anytime. I wore it to work today with a simple neutral eye and I wore it tonight with a heavy smokey eye. For reference I am MAC NC15, MUFE HD 117, lipstick was $14 USD and this Viva Glam collection is LE and I believe it is only available for year. And because it is Viva Glam, it cannot be obtained with Back 2 MAC products. If you like trying new reds do get this one, you won't be disappointed. Let me start off by saying that I'm VERY pale with pinkish undertones. Stark red on me looks SCARY, so when I read that this color was a coral based red I knew it could potentially be my perfect red. And I was RIGHT! I LOVE this color. One swipe and my lips are flushed and reddish, but the color is easily built up into a sexy, sultry, vibrant red that doesn't wash me out and isn't too distracting. It's a lustre, so my lips don't get dried out, and the color stays for a surprisingly long time.

i'm verrrry pale and love lipsticks that give me a bit of color but don't make me look like i'm wearing a pair of old-school wax lips. colorwise, i love a nice red that doesn't go pink or orange after ten minutes and this one stays true. this is a red that to me has a bit of coral undertone to it, it's a fun color that doesn't look too goth or old fashioned. the formula is nice and sheer, with a bit of shine --you can layer it on for more oomph or put a clear gloss on top to make it really pop. i think this is a very versatile color; it would look great with pin-up inspired look, a dressy smoky-eyed look, or with even with my minimal work makeup. worth it!

Cyndi Lauper's shade is ssoo cute!! I didn't expect to like this one because in the promo pic it looks very red. The MA tried it on and I knew I had to have it. MAC describes it as a coral red and they're right on! It's a lustre but surprisingly it's very pigmented! When I looked at it, it reminded me of Strawbaby from Fafi but Strawbaby is more red-orange based. Cyndi is more of a coral-pink red based. Looks like I was sucking on a cherry lollipop. I love it! Best part...money was donated to the AIDS fund! Amazing!
